Update: The trailer has finally appeared online!

Jump Festa 2012 has finished. As you know, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance appeared with a new trailer and playable demo. This article will summarize everything we learnt at the event, and continue to be updated when more content surfaces.

What To Look Forward To

- Nomura has stated that the Kingdom Hearts 3D Jump Festa 2012 trailer will be posted on the game's official website "early in the week". This could mean today or tomorrow!

- Famitsu Weekly magazine will include an article on Kingdom Hearts 3D, detailing what we learnt at the event. This releases on December 22, 2011 and may contain a Nomura interview.

What We Learnt at the Event

- Kingdom Hearts 3D is set for a March 2012 release date in Japan
- Various details about the "Country of the Musketeers" world
- A world based on Tron Legacy will appear in the game (more on this later)
- A set of images explaining some gameplay features of Kingdom Hearts 3D
- Many photos of the game's display at the event & Wonder Meow plushie
- The trailer which appeared at the event was 8 minutes long. We have a complete translated transcription of this trailer, which reveals a lot about the game. Make sure you read this, it is very detailed and interesting!
- Various The World Ends With You characters, including Neku, Joshua, Beat, Shiki and Rhyme, all appear
- Many past original Kingdom Hearts characters will appear in the game. Since this is a pretty big spoiler, we'll let you read the trailer impressions to find out who
- Famitsu.com posted their own impressions of the trailer and demo
- FF-Reunion posted their own impressions of the game's demo
- elwijf2012 also posted their own impressions of the game's demo & trailer

I am very excited but I am concern about the availability of worlds. There may only be few and not too many. The story will just rotate around them. This is just one of my concerns. I hope I'm wrong. =/

Honestly, I am also worried about the availability of worlds, both Disney and Squre Enix. I kinda hope that they use some Final Fantasy worlds in there though, that would be sick and awesome

tutti frutti. I'm also looking forward to Atlantis and Treasure Planet. Or at the very least not a total recycle of the worlds from KH1 again. The only ones in the series that I've grown to like is 100 Acre Woods and Olympus Coliseum. But hopefully we will get a lot more information for KH3D. Definitely looking forward to the game. Maybe we will see more gameplay with Riku.

Wow just 12 days for one epic (and probably the definitive) trailer!
I'm crossing my fingers to hear any news of a Kingdom Hearts 3D Special Nintendo 3DS Bundle... it's the last stop of tradeshows for this gem, so let's hope for it!
