Fire Emblem: Return ( RP Sign Ups)

Recommended Posts

Long ago, two dragons entered into conflict. Grima, the fell dragon, who desired destruction and ruin of humankind, and Naga, the divine dragon who helped the humans against the evil forces of the fell one. Grima was sealed by the Exalt, using Falchion, the legendary weapon, alongside the Fire emblem. With victory for humans and the divine dragon, the world flourished once again; however 1000 years later, Grima was resurrected, bringing chaos to the once peaceful lands.

Once again, humans took weapons against it, and with the help of allies from different timelines, the world was saved once again, this time, finishing Grima for good, the lands of Yiilse were once again at peace. But nothing protected these from the hate and darkness inside humans, that´s how the once known Halidom of Yillse fell down, both Falchion and Fire emblem lost in history, and the Voice, suddenly became silent... until now.

Ok guys this RP takes place 500 years after Fire Emblem Awakening, there are new nations, new enviroments, and of course new villains to kick off their butts. But first of all, details in the spoiler tabs:

Kingdoms:

Kingdom of Dormus.

Once known as the Halidom of Yillse, it´s now a motor of science and development. The use of steam has granted new power and life to the denizens, however, corruption and ambition runs from the rulers of this land; and now an armed invasion is being in process, with the rest of the world being the target.

Varius plains

A green grass plains existing in the southwest part of Yillse continent. It´s said it was long ago a dark kingdom, surrounded by deserts and death. But now many life lungers here, their goverment now resides in the hands of a council, elected by people. It´s known for their studies in dark arts.

Regna Ferox:

Still existing since the times of yore; now regna Ferox is ruled by a sole Khan. Almost nothing has changed in the 500 years following the events of FEA.

Theocracy of Nazzir

Located in the north of Valm continent, it´s known by their teachings from the Voice, a Primach is the one ruling the theocracy, and they are also known by their studies about the divine dragons and the light magic.

Chon´sin

The old kingdom of Dynast. Their arts in swordplay are known around the world, it has become known to provide warriors for the protection of Nazzir. It hasn´t change in the 500 years since FEA events.

Principality of Rossane

A little country in the east coast of Valm Continent, it´s know by their cultural and sofisticated style of living, as well fro their miracle medicine developved in the 500 years past. It´s also known by their Wyverm Guard.

And said this:

You will start as a group of mercenaries in service of the kingdom of Dormus. You can also be from any of the other countries, and try to develop a good bio about it.

Edit: As from chapter 1 and til the end, new characters should be from the other nations, joining the group as the story moves forward.

As for the rules:

*Max two characters per user.

*No godmodding, almost all of you basicalli will start at level 1. YEs, you can level up in this RP.

*Mantain it PG13.

*You can choose your class from the basic line:

Classes available:

*Pegasus Knight - mounted unit. lances, good movement

*Cavalier - mounted unit. lances or swords, good movement

*Myrmidon - swords

*Cleric or troubadour - staffs

*Mage - Elemental magic

*Wyvern Knight - Axes

*Dark mage - Dark magic

*Thief - Go and steal items

*Knight - heavy tank, lances

*Mercenary- Balanced swordmans, with good defense

*Taguel - Capable of transform in bunny-like beast. Good speed and skill.

And two new classes:

*Tech knight (can use Crossbows and axes)

*Bard (Same as dancer, but can cause damage with instrument sounds,)

About the Lord and the tactician class:

Ok after thinking about it, I´ll allow 1 lord and 1 tactician, that said and for avoiding conflict and fights.. first who post first who get it:

Lord: Main protagonist, swords are his terrain.

Tactician: versatile in swordplay and magic

*Skills will be in the RP and it will depend from your classes.

Deep info about classes:

Note: If at the side of the name says full, you cannot choose it. Sorry.

Pegasus Knight:

These characters have the ability to fly over normally impassable terrain for long distances, a natural ability to fear should you be facing air units. Pegasus Knights tend to have very low Defense and HP, making them a little more fragile than other characters. Their high Speed is their saving grace, easily avoiding attacks.

Cavalier (Full):

is a horse-mounted unit capable of using either Swords or Lances as their weapons. They are the only non-promoted unit to wield two different weapons. While they do not possess high strength, health or defense, these characters can move very long distances across the battlefield, riding quickly from one area to another.

Myrmidon (Full):

Myrmidons usually use swords which are much like a katana, as well as the more common, conventional swords other classes can use. Compared to other sword users, the Myrmidon has a considerably lesser amount of defense, but are able to deal attacks of higher accuracy. Myrmidons are also known for their higher percentage of dealing critical attacks.

Cleric (Full) and Troubadour:

Cleric is a critical class to have on the battlefield. In the Fire Emblem series, a character whose HP is depleted to zero, is (in most cases) killed and unusable for the rest of the game. Having a unit such as a Cleric defeats the fear of permanent death with the ability to heal wounded allies. Low defense but hight resistance and magic. The troubadour class works the same, mounted in horses they can move great distances, but lacks more defense.

Mage (Full) and Dark Mage:

Mages (マージ) are units who use magic to attack. They primarily use anima magic, although in some cases they specialize in certain types of anima magic, such as fire, wind, or thunder.

Mages' stats have few consistencies, but they will almost always have a very high resistance in place of defense. This and their magical attack make it prudent to use them to block enemy magic users, and avoid direct combat with physical units. Dark Mages usually have less magic than Mages, though they generally have higher defense and exclusive access to Dark Magic, if available.

Wyvern Rider:

Is a Class of soldiers mounted on Wyverns, and hence are analogous to Pegasus Knights. Wyvern Riders typically have more HP, Strength, and Defense than Pegasus Knights, while the latter has more Skill, Speed, and Resistance. Flying classes like the Wyvern Rider are weak against Bows and Wind Anima Magic

Thief:

As expected, these sword or knife using units specialize in speed and stealth over power and defense. Naturally, this means they are not the kind of class used for heavy offense.

Knight:

Are heavily armored foot units that usually use lances. They are generally very slow, but have very good defense and attack.

Mercenary (Full):

is a class of soldiers that use swords only. They tend toward balanced statistics, although they generally have low resistance. Their defense is usually higher than a Myrmidon, but they may not be as fast.

Taguel (Full):

Taguels transform from their humanoid form to a beast form using Beaststones. Taguels are very agile and fast units with good Strength to hit hard and fast.

Tech Knight:

They are versatile units capable of using crossbows to attack from distance and axes to attack close. They lack resistance and speed but they are good in force power.

Bard (Full):

Is an unit that can use melodies to alllow units to move twice in a turn, or using their songs to damage the enemy units. They are not good physically, but have the best luck possible.

Lord (Full):

Main Protagonist; User of swords, it´s balanced in defense resistance and speed, but lacks in magic and resistance.

Tactician (Full)

The class is well versed in the use of Tomes and Swords. it has balanced stats, and he can excel in one of these, but he will suck in another stat. It depends of the user.

*About promotion class:

if its random rolled stats i might want to skip it, cuz i'l have unsalvageable stats due to my luck...

Nope, it depends of your class, but you give your first starts so i´ll consider who good or bad it will become. Nothing is random in this life; unless you want bad luck. xD

Also how good you perform in battle helps. xD just saying.

Is it possible to switch the random roll to those who specifically want to be a Lord or Tactician? I, of course, want the job, but not everyone will. Edited by Guest

Actually a little known secret is that I also absolutely love strategy games and I'm pretty decent at them/I'm extremely experienced in Fire Emblem tactics as I play the series too often to not have the consepts rooted in my head. You MIGHT like the Lord class, but they often tend to lag in certain stats that make them more of a liability unless you power level then a lot. Knowing you, you would likely enjoy more of the Myrmidon or Knight. Knights are slow, low movement units that tank and very well, they are very deadly... if you are within their range or the opponent doesn't use magic/a armor-beating weapon/looses in the weapon triangle(they use lances, btw). The Myrmidon is a sword user that will grow with high speed, skill, and attack, but defense stats don't always work out.

Nice, I am thinking of making a Myrdidon, but im not sure right now, but you got that right, knight or myrmidon would be my go-to classes :D

Question: is there going to be perma-death?

Will there at least be rescue? like cavaliers picking up units and getting them to the healers?

Of course. I´ll specify how it works the elements in battle, but i´ll consider permadeath only due to certain circunstances.

Basically, you will create you character, this can fight according to his class, it´s a based turn RP so you will attack the enemy will respond. you can join with someone else and attack at the same time. appart of that, it works like any RP. Chat interact and desroy my story plans. xD

If you want I can do an in-depth of all the base classes and the upper level classes that I know for you, if you so wish.

Depends on what kind of fighter you want. Do you want a mounted unit, a magic user, quick fighter, what?

Lol people need to know what they're getting into.

Your class options are Mage, Dark Mage, Cleric, Troubadour, or the advanced class of Pegasus Knight (I'm assuming this one will be an option) Dark Flier. Mage is your GU mage, uses Anima (fire, air, lighting) magics to attack. They're the magical version of a Myrmidon, save slower overall. They attack from a range, but lack healing abilities and their HP pool is small. Dark Mage uses Dark magics which have a high chance of missing, but very good damage and they can be pretty quick, but often lag in a few stats. Cleric is the GU Cleric, save no damage options, your a strict healer, the Troubadour is a similar class, but with more movement, but less defense. They both lack in many of the stats at first but the high magic growth can make up for it if they become a Priest or other Magic using class. The advanced class of a Flier, the Dark Flier, is capable of magic and lance attacks, they're quick on the field and are an overall great unit save for their poor defensive/resistance stats and weakness to Bows, which can be very deadly for them. They have the highest movement and apeed, but such poor defensive stats that they can be conquered if you're not careful.

I'll get up a sheet at some point probably. Might not be today, but I'll be sure to do it before the RP starts. I'll probably go with a mounted unit (Fliers>Clerics, Riki), might make a second character as well unless you get too many people joining in.
