Text Kingdom Hearts IV The Extreme Purifier (Chapter 2)

Recommended Posts

I finally finished the second chapter of my story. Here's the link to Chapter 1:http://kh13.com/forum/topic/72277-kingdom-hearts-iv-the-extreme-purifier/

Enjoy my second chapter.

Like I said in Chapter 1, this is not originally my idea, this came from the great HMK and Skywardwing from this video:

Chapter 2-Fortune and Misfortune

“You wished to see me Master Yen Sid?” asked Ventus after entering the room. Ventus saw him very scared and worried as if he had a heart attack. Ventus has never seen him like this. “What’s wrong?”

“I’m afraid I have some bad news,” replied Yen Sid.

“Will you ever call someone for any good news?” asked Ventus with that smile of his. “This better be quick, I need to get back to Radiant Garden to train some new troops.”

“This is no time for jokes!” screamed Yen Sid.

“I’m sorry; I didn’t know it was that bad.”

“Roxas brought me this grave news as soon as he could. He tells me that someone or something is on the way. An unknown being with a mysterious army is invading.”

“Are you telling me that dark times are coming?” asked Ventus with fear and surprise.

“No,” replied Yen Sid. “I believe that “bright” times are coming.” Ventus was very confused by this and asked him what he meant by this. “Tell me,” said Yen Sid “have you ever heard of an entity known as a Malshine?!”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Is everything ready?” asked Xion.

“Everything is put into place perfectly,” replied Ienzo.

“Are you sure it will work?”

“Oh please, this is a simple experiment. Even your son can do this in a day!”

Xion did not take that lightly, but she didn’t say anything. Ienzo has been working on this experiment for years and now he finally gets to see if it could work. His goal was to try and make a device that would copy memories from anyone’s mind and show those memories on a screen, so people could revisit their good times that they loved and missed.

This contraption had a built-in seat and helmet. Ienzo sat down and put on the helmet. He turned on the machine and the screen started to flicker. Xion suddenly saw the very man who created her on the screen, Even.

Ienzo was smiling and was about the cry, but all of a sudden, the screen turned pitch black and the device halted its work. Smoke was escaping and all its power was gone. Ienzo screamed in anger and summoned his lexicon. He jumped out of the chair, opened the book of illusions and pages scattered, crashing the machine into the wall.

“This is all your fault!” cried Ienzo as he turned towards Xion.

“I didn’t do anything!” replied Xion.

“You distracted me! That is why the machine didn’t work! It was foolproof until you came along!”

“Ienzo, when will you get off my back?! You’ve been like this for so long, ever since Even past away!”

“Don’t you dare talk about him!”

Both of them stayed quiet for at least a minute, when Ienzo broke that silence and said, “Your husband may be the commander of the army, but I will not allow you to speak right back at me!” Ienzo suddenly pointed to the door and cried, “GET OUT OF MY LAB!”

Xion simply turned, opened the door and walked out slamming the door behind her.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Amare would you please come downstairs please,” called Master Terra.

“Coming Dad,” she replied.

She ran downstairs and saw her dad waiting for her with his eyebrow raised and his arms crossed.

“Did I do something?”

“Yes. I seem to have heard that you stole your mother’s old armor last night.”

“What?! How’d you find out?”

“Well for starters, I was walking around the castle, when I turn round the corner and I see two of our guards sleeping on the job. They wouldn’t wake up after my attempts, so I knew it was a spell. And who was that sweet, little girl who I taught the sleep spell the other day?”

Amare suddenly realized how dumb her plan was.

“You’re very impatient, just like me,” said Terra. “And that’s one of the things I like about you.”

Amare’s dad knelt on his right knee, put his hand on her shoulder and said, “I know you took that armor to impress Spero.”

Amare denied this and said, “I did not! I just wanted him to be jealous.”

“Oh come on Amare,” said Terra. “I noticed it from the start. Every time you hear his name, I see your face go redder than Lea’s hair.”

Amare was embarrassed by this and replied, “Guilty as charged.”

They both shared a laugh.

“So am I in trouble?” asked Amare.

“No, in fact I’m glad you did what you did. Very sneaky, but you gotta be careful about the outcome of things.”

He then told her little Keyblade Master to go to bed, as it was late.

“Remember sweety, you, your mum and your friends are going on a field trip tomorrow.”

“Oh right. Thanks Dad. I’m so excited! Where are we going again?”

“You’re going to a great and calm world called Traverse Town.”
