- Alastor - The Storm Lord - Vs Rhaedyn and Nergal -

(Offensive Stance).

Alastor looked at what his opposition was about to do, the quick one with the weird power, Nergal, dashed at him at high speeds with a massive spike in energy. Alastor scoffed under his helmet as he responded to the attack, not by dodging, not by blocking, not by whitstanding either.

Alastor charged lightning and wind combined around him, creating his element, storm. The perfect combination of devastating electrical force and the wrath of uncontrolled wind. As he dashed at Nergal at matching speeds.

Alastor created a barrier around him as he dashed, as he slammed into Nergal, creating a massive shockwave out of the impact both men caused, this shockwave was much more than enough to send Alastor flying back as he landed on his feet and sliding accross the ground, the impact had its effect on him of course, Nergal's attack wasn't completely nullified, he felt the blow and his ears rung from the impact. Albeit momentarily.

He managed to regain his composure just in time for Rhaedyn's attack

"Huh, axe and sword makes a spear. Neat." Alastor commented dryly as he barely had time to ready himself for Rhaedyn's attack. As Rhaedyn thrusted his spear at Alastor did all he could to deflect the spear with his twin swords, by maneuvering himself to the side moments before impact he managed to deflect it, sliding his swords accross the spear's shaft as he attempted a quick counteratack with a quick slash at the man's side as he passed through, easy enough for Rhaedyn to dodge.

However Rhaedyn would have to be careful for what would come next. "Hasn't stopped my kind from slaying them." Alastor spoke to Rhaedyn. As a massive spike of storm energy was emmited from him as he literaly flashed towards Rhaedyn, whether the man could recover from the deflected thrust of not it did not matter for Alastor who wasted not time delivering a massive flurry of storm powered slashes at the man, utilizing the wind and lightning to quickly maneuver around him as he slashed.

During the end of the flurry Rhaedyn would notice that Alastor's attacks began increasing in force, massively. Each letting out shockwaves, much like his onslaught on Nergal. However he added extra power just so he could match Rhaedyn's force, blocking it or not, Rhaedyn would feel the impact even if he did not get injured from the attacks.

As the last swing ended, and the massive force was released from it Alastor did not stop, quickly charging even more storm energy around him, with a massive burst of energy bursting in his surroundings, if Rhaedyn did not move out of the way in time, he'd be hit head on by a point blank blast of pure arcane lightning.

Alastor paused for a moment after the attack, his armor glowing even more now. As he turned his head towards Nergal, quickly dashing in lightning speeds at the man dashing upwards so he would be above him.

Alastor came out of the dash putting his two blades together in one swing, as a massive charge of storm energy was infused within the blades, he quickly came crashing down towards Nergal with the charged blades, aiming for Nergal, even if Nergal managed to dodge, Alastor's charged attack would be enough to create a small crater around him. Alastor was not playing around anymore, after all, he was in his offensive stance, and that usualy meant he was ready to end the fight.

"While I waste both yours time my army's advance goes on steadily...It won't be long until this flank falls." Alastor spoke, his tone unchanged after the smoke of his attack cleared, showing him in full splendor, albeit not glowing from magic anymore, just regular storm magic spiraling around him, it seemed Alastor wasted most of his charge on that attack on both of them thankfully Rabyiu's storm magic was still active. His armor losing the cape it had from before, good. less things impeding him from fighting.

- Alex Mars - The Prodigy soldier  - Vs Massive Wendigo -

"Well it felt that at least." Alex spoke, surprised at his own actions causing the beast to roar in pain. Then again fire was pretty painful. But he was not prepared for the beast's next actions. 'I sure as hell hope I got enough flasks' Alex thought to himself about his predicament as he pulled out another one from his pouch as the wendigo began charging at him like an enraged animal.

Soldiers getting crushed underneat it, or being mortally wounded by the creature angered him greatly, "You'l pay for that you piece of shit!" Alex cursed the beast as he held a fire flask in his hands as the beast was now getting close.

Alex quickly sprinted forward, throwing the flask towards the creature while it did its crazed swinging, attempting to land the flask on its head, or even better, mouth. Though he doubted it would work, but he had to try.

He managed to roll under one of its arms just in time.

"How the hell do I take it down?" Alex wondered. before an idea came to his mind. 'Catapults, yes! do i have the signaling flares?' Alex thought. Checking his pouch, he had one. If he was going to do this he'd need to make it work...and that meant keeping this thing still.

--Yevgeni Malachite -- Kilkis Seres: Left Flank VS Draksis--

"I'll have to ask you to stop right there."

The elf turned in the direction of the human general, his stature nearly as menacing as his weapon.  Yevgeni directed his horse in the direction of Draksis slowly, though also made no motion to reach out for a weapon or strike.

"You would be correct, my fine soldier," Yev responded, tone smooth.  "I do have my objective set out before me, though what that is may certainly surprise you."

His gaze remained fixated upon Draksis without blinking, calm and so self-assured.  "I do not believe in meaningless bloodshed, which is why I'm cutting my losses to the minimum.  Call back your men, and perhaps a truce is still within reason.  Otherwise . . . ."

Wings began to materialize on Yev's back in sparkles of light as he withdrew his rapier from his belt.  He cut through the air between them for emphasis.

"Embrace my judgment."

--Curvis Sourati -- Mystras: Right Flank conversing with Aqua--

The brunet hesitated upon her question, though lowered his sword.  A medic . . . it had a nice ring to it.  It wasn't something he'd once considered himself to be when he sought out trying to help, but he decided that it fit well, and so he agreed.

"Yes . . . .  I am a medic."  He paused, considering his next words before bringing his gaze up to meet hers.  "And I have no interest in doing you harm.  Actually"--Curvis sheathed his sword, both hands now free and held casually at his sides in a non-threatening manner--"I am wondering what brings the likes of you out here?  There's few opponents for the picking, and relatively no fighting this far out.  Are you one of the Kilkis Seres healers yourself?"

There was something curious about Aqua, though it was too soon for Curvis to determine what that was.  She seemed soft, perhaps too much so for the battlefield.  Maybe she were there as reluctantly as Curvis was, or worse.

--Ren Mordecai -- Mystras: Left flank VS Meksis--

The black dragon jerked away as Meksis dove down for his neck, though the additional swords would prove to be more difficult to avoid.  Ren let out a screech, and a shockwave of wind exuded his entire form, which would work as a barrier between himself and the blades of darkness.  One managed to be timed differently than the rest, however, and broke through once the wind barrier was down.  It embedded itself within Ren's lower torso, which was not going to be good for him at all.  The darkness within exploded, causing immense pain to extend through his body.

In fury and agony, Ren soared higher into the sky, taking in a large inhale with his mouth wide.  More seemed to happen than just this, however.  Energy could be seen accumulating within the dragon's extended mouth, swirling as it grew in intensity.  In moments he unleashed it, a gust of massively intense wind that expanded in radius as it descended.  He then dove toward Meksis once more, attempting to claw him with one hand as the two would near the ground.  He felt the wound taking its toll on him, as well as his magic waning.  It wouldn't be long before he would be forced to revert, though if he did he knew that he'd be done for.

--Alderon Niles -- Mystras: Center Flank VS Eclaire--

At Eclaire's outburst all that Alderon could do was emit a hearty laugh.  It wasn't in mockery, but a true, hard laugh.

"Madness, you say?  Is that what lies you've been fed by your queen?"  Alderon cocked a brow as he eyed her carefully.  "My dear, we fight to save our planet.  How is that mad?  Is that not what you're doing right now, fighting to save your people from a threat that you believe is valid?"

Unless, of course, she knew and was displeased by the experiments done on fey, though he assumed that very select few knew that such a procedure took place, and highly doubted that it managed to meet the queen's or her retainer's ears.

At last, Eclaire shared her tale, albeit one that Alderon hadn't heard before.  He listened intently, piecing together the woman before him with the story that she proffered.

"Alas, you are holding back.  I figured as much.  After all, a mere human like me would not stand a chance against a fey woman of your race and rank."  He waved a hand carelessly as he spoke.  "You are afraid that your desire to consume me with your fury will overwhelm your eagerness to protect, and thus you are trying to keep yourself in check.  Noble, I will admit, and admirable, too.  Sadly, it won't get you very far in combat--"

His words were cut short, however, when Eclaire thrust her blade into his chest.  It was faster than he had expected, and managed to creep under his breastplate.  Short gasps escaped the king as he knelt on the ground, reaching for the place that Eclaire had stabbed.  Strangely, however, these breaths didn't seem to be those of his death, nor did his hand return from his chest with blood.  Slowly the king rose, appearing winded and yet relatively unharmed.

"Mythril," he explained in short, as though this simple word would tell all.  "Lord Raiden equipped me well.  Under my tunic lies a thin armor created from your fine metal.  Without it, you would've well taken my life.  To that I applaud you."

- Reginald Heathertoes (NPC), Kilkes Seres, Center Flank, VS Rabiyu -

Reggie quickly skedaddled away from the would-be explosion, eyes and senses open and feeling ready for anything now that he discovered a little bit more of Rabiyu's abilities.  He was hurt in the process, and the wound stung like nobody's business, but any bit of discovery was a small taste of victory.  To hold her power would be priceless, but discerning how she used it would have to wait until after this battle, if he survived it at least.

The dagger twirled from its space rupture, flung previously by Rabiyu, and Reggie was just barely prepared, dodging by a hair's breadth as he sang through his billowing and overly large shirt and cloak.  He wondered if there were more, but the assurance of an explosion made him think that there was not.  Looking behind was not very assuring, however.  The elf was nowhere to be found, and that meant she escaped yet again.  Figures, he thought, scanning from horizon to horizon and spotting her.  Next time he was sure not to let her have a moment to even slip away.

The female elf readied her bow and slowly lowered, firing as she went.  This gave Reggie an idea, shortly before dodging the first and second arrows and erecting a stone wall with a slight modification:  an arrow slit near the centre.  This gave him sight, and the stone wall gave him protection to the slings and arrows of Rabiyu's conjuration, unless she used her mist again.  Reggie chanted a quick mumble of words and brought his hands to the ground, casting a double spell.

Briars filled with hand-length thorns spilled out from where Rabiyu would have landed if she continued her descent, rising up and ready to lash at her with their strong, violent vines upon her getting within a twenty-metre radius.  Furthermore, he protected himself with a bark-like skin, one that would shield him normal arrows, lightning, and perhaps water as well.  Ice and fire might be tough to fend against, but he can make a stony skin just for that occasion above his bark skin.

- Raleigh Marin, Mystras, Left Flank, VS Elia -

The female assassin listened to Elia with ire.  What was this fey talking about, her sister dying to Raleigh's kind.  Was she talking about one of the fey that was captured and experimented on in the world below, like that one individual she met before, Ren?  Impossible.  It must have been a different scenario, with a different person and humans of a different sort before this barrier she heard mention about was erected.  The girl seemed truthful enough -- battle had a way of releasing emotion truthfully and honestly -- but was it right to show pity to an enemy, perhaps even give out mercy?  Raleigh thought about this alongside her continuation of the dialogue.

"You may have problems, but ours are more prominent and more severe.  Me, my family died to horrors you could only imagine before I had the strength to save them.  One by one, they died, together or alone, until I had no known relations left but one, and you know what?  My vice-laced grandfather was better off dead, so I strangled him.  I was twenty-six at the time.  I still feel his disgusting neck in my hands now and again."

Raleigh glared down at the fairy, full of contemplation.  Finally, she turned her head away, saying, "Get out of my sight and toss that sword away, lest I kill you like him but with less purpose.  If you have family, leave and protect them with the strength you currently have.  Fighting me here would not do that, nor restore your sister."

- Lord Raiden, Mystras, Left Flank, VS Jynn -

Jynn unleashed a very curious start, concentrating on a hasty assault after his zippy comment.  However, Raiden felt more than ready, and a grin encroached upon his studious expression.  The shockwaves were countered with two strong and fast cuts from a lightning-enhanced blade, fighting electricity with electricity, but even his sword was no match for Jynn's at its current state, and Raiden knew this.  He shifted his a jumping pose after stomping a foot as Jynn got close and attempted to strike, and with a great and fast leap Raiden jumped overhead, making sure neither sword nor person was close to the attack.

In the air, Raiden held out a hand, but not to strike.  Instead, it was to trigger a lightning land mine he embedded in the ground with his stomp.  If Jynn was distracted with his leap and not paying attention to the ground beneath him, he could suffer a nasty but quick shock from the resulting explosion.  Perhaps this was the sword's weakness, in that it cannot absorb magic for an area but only magic for direct attacks.

Upon landing, Raiden would ready his sword and analyse the situation further with his calculating gaze, search magic still active and potent.  He needed to figure out when the sword will drain its reserves, if anytime soon.  At the moment, it seemed as if physical attacks would only cripple Raiden's sword and not Jynn's.  Once the dragon's blade's edge is removed, sword combat would be more honourable, a trait Raiden favoured.

((Rufus will come later.  I cannot think of anything for him at the time.  Same for Jari; the poor soul is probably onlooking the Rhaedyn/Nergal/Alastor fight and wetting his armour even more.))

{Mariel: Mystras Rebellion; Center Flank - w/ Soren VS Shiva}

Mariel was preparing to follow up her somic scream when Soren entered the fray. Her natural instincts were to go after the demonic intruder, but Shiva's attack was more pressing. Launching herself back and up, the Guardian Angel took to the sky, though not as gracefully as normal. She managed to avoid serious damage from The Queen's cold snap, but the cold was getting to her. On the up side, it gave the part of her who wanted to end this with little blood shed a chance to push past the fires of rage. What the Sentinel was saying marked him as a friend, as much as that displeased her. It also revealed an avenue of verbal attack.

Mariel landed again, stabbing her swords into the ground several meters away from Shiva and Soren. Her arms termored as a mixture of cold and her peaceful intent tried to still the battle rage that coursed through her.

"Even those once loyal to you see the folly in your path." She called out to Shiva, her voice shaking as she fought to hold the rage back. "If one of Dark origins can recognize that humans have something worthwhile to them, why can you not?"

~Aqua: Kilkis Seres: Left flank: Chatting with Curvis~

Aqua gripped her staff harder. She had put a grim look on her face. “I’m a soldier, at least, that’s what I’m supposed to be. So far I’ve only killed one and I deeply regret even that much.” There wasn’t a point in lying. She could tell that he would be as willing to engage in a battle as she. Since she wasn't willing to engage in another battle at all she wasn’t very worried about what she told him. Besides that, he seemed to be friendly and she hoped that this spoke for the kindness of the Mystras soldiers, maybe, even the humans.

“Are you perchance a human? I’ve always wanted to learn about them, but I only had rumors and legends to go off of. “ This could be Aqua’s chance to find out if humans and fae kind had any chance at peace.  It was something she desperately wanted to know, no, needed to know. Even if he wasn’t human he still must have thought they deserved a chance at life. Aqua wasn’t a moron she knew that if the humans lost they would be left to die a slow death as the lands around them slowly died. She knew that the humans at least should get a chance a peace. Her thought drifted toward Yev, Aqua only hoped he knew what he was doing.

(If I'm wrong please correct me on this. Thank you)

- Meksis, the Defiled, Armour of Darkness - Kilkis Right/Mystras Left, V.S Black Dragon Ren -

Meksis couldn't land his diving thrust as Ren had jerked away his neck, but one of his Dark Summoned Swords was on a small delay, enough to outwit his Aero Barrier and cause him some serious damage and he could feel the dragon's power waning. The furious wind beast roared and soared into the air, expelling a powerful gust of wind upon him before making an aggressive descent towards Meksis.

The wind proved to be of inconvenience, but the Dragon form of Ren was large and powerful, yet bulky and telegraphed. Not to mention slow. One could almost see the smirk behind the visor as Meksis teleported a short distance to Ren's side, as seen by Dark Energy and Black Feathers showing his direction, but this teleport was fast and for Meksis, it was enough. He had made a weak point and he was going to abuse it, as he immediately followed up his move by raising his sword to his upper left and bringing it hard to the right, slashing at said wound, then he rotated with the blades momentum and slashed once more, then he replaced the blade with a Grand Lance, the only other weapon he could use in his twisted version of Solidarity of The Chaperone, supercharged with Dark Energy and threw it at an immense velocity towards Ren, it would also explode on impact after a brief embedding.

- Nergal, Remnant of Meksis, the Dormant and Hollow Wind - Kilkis Healer Backline, V.S Alastor, w/ Rhaedyn Thane -

The power of the Storm Lord was quickly becoming apparent and overwhelming, as Alastor met Nergal's challenge with a hyperspeed dash of his own, their energies briefly merging, then clashing and exploding outwards, the shockwave leaving both men shaken and forcing Nergal back. Alastor on the other hand was seemingly unaffected and instead resumed his attack on Rhaedyn, countering his spear and pummeling him relentlessly in a manner reminiscent of his prior attack on Nergal, only this time the force was visually more palpable. The Iron Lord would have to use all of his might to withstand that power, but now, Nergal was in danger once again, as Alastor dashed up into the air and brought his blades together, supercharged with the might of storms and brought them down upon the Hollow Wind.

Another spark burst within Nergal, whether it was an aftereffect of the storm energy or something more, he couldn't say now, but it compelled him to move out of the way as far as he could. Alastor came down like a Meteor and smashed to the ground, Nergal barely escaping the attack but the resulting aftereffect, a large shockwave and a few rocks, caught up to him. He was shaken by the waves and a large rock smashed against his golden mask, shattering it in half and sending both halves a considerable distance across the battlefield, leaving Nergal sliding across the ground on his feet, coming to a gradual stop some distance away.

Nergal clenched his fist, then suddenly reached for his hood and, as it was a separate article of clothing, removed it with ease, now he was revealed to anyone who cared. He certainly didn't.

"He is powerful...but not invincible...maybe Rhaedyn can keep him occupied for now. I'll bring the Storm Lord to his knees..."

Nergal's thoughts were set and his intentions crystal clear, despite not being spoken aloud as he took an aggressive stance and extended both his arms outwards to his sides and began gathering energy, as well as charging up his own. Quickly, an aura of Nothingness formed around Nergal, though this was more fierce than the last, electricity-like Nothingness sparked from and around him as the hollow being concentrated his power. This time, he was going to give Alastor a true show of strength...a demonstration of his true might...and to show him the final flash before his demise.

"STORM LORD!! If you believe yourself so mighty, then you stay right there and take my power head on!!"

Nergal screamed at Alastor. Growling and seemingly enraged, daring Alastor to accept his challenge, now no longer content with simply waiting for Rhaedyn to occupy him. Where was the honour in that? Where...was all this coming from?

Nergal...could hardly believe it...this battle, was making him feel...alive.

Jynn Venas-Front Flank VS Raiden

As soon as Jynn slashes at Raiden, the latter stomps on the ground, placing an electric mine below Jynn before leaping overhead. He noticed the mine and leaps back, but Raiden triggers it and the mine explodes, with the blast sending him flying. The prince quickly regains his ground and lands on his feet, but he drags his arms and swords on the ground. Sparks from the mine briefly paralyze him, but once he regains his movement, he begins to act very strangely. He twitches his arms and his eyelids, his heart begins beating twice as fast, and his senses heighten greatly. Jynn then realized what's going on. No! Not this again! But it was too late, all his sanity is lost. He has succumbed to his anger again. His pupils expand, and a blue aura is emitted from his body. The Leviathan's power is drained and it returns to its original state. Jynn menacingly turns his head to Raiden, with black sparks lighting up from his arms.

- Rabiyu - Rebellion of Mystras - between center and right flank -

Rabiyu had to admit that the Druid was smart and interesting, and she had the desire to exterm-no, those thoughts had to stop before something bad happened to her, or those around, enemies and allies alike. He had summoned a stone wall, one that was protecting him from any more arrows, she could use a distortion in space, but she was not sure where he was exactly, that made her stop her attack and look at the spot in which she was going to land, that's when she noticed. Briars filled with thorns and vines that were lashing against her. She continued her descent while using her daggers to cut through the vines, some were successful in hitting her, others were trying to grapple her, but were instantly cut down before they could do more, she barely managed to touch the ground before the vines got a hold on her, covering all of her body in a few seconds.
"Damn it, this is too much, I can barely move and these things won't let me move," she thought while the thorns were sinking on the spots where her skin was exposed, "Daar wo aam faal Laat Gein bo amativ nol gelum sovaar, vos yol do Gehenna ag pah wah kii!"
It took a moment, but if one was looking closely, the vines that were covering the Northern Elf were slowly retracting while smoke was coming out. A moment later a red and gold flame burst out of the briars, burning everything to ashes. The only one remaining was Rabiyu once the flame was gone.
"Impressive, Druid, but that is not something that can stop me for long," Rabiyu said to Reginald, her voice sounding a little more emotionless than before, "I am surprised, but I'm having fun. Let's keep going, shall we?"
Rabiyu pointed her bow towards the stone wall, and to the exact spot where Reginald was, she grabbed the bowstring while a small cloud of mist appeared, she then pulled the string and a black arrow came out or the mist, ready to be used. This arrow was capable of piercing dragon scales, a stone wall would be nothing against it.
"Let's have more fun, let's enjoy the moment until the last second," Rabiyu said to herself, she knew something was wrong, but it didn't mattered at the time, "Zu'u bel faal, kruziik zii do yol, bo amativ ahrk zin thy sos kiid do wuth!"
Red glowing glyphs appeared all over the black arrow, giving it the appearance of being on fire, this was going to ensure that the wall, along with anything close to it, would be destroyed in a beautiful explosion. Without feeling any hesitation Rabiyu made her shot towards the stone wall, and the Druid.

- Sifrei Mond and Aeternum Siblings - Rebellion of Mystras - Center Flank -

Fenrir was still holding against the Siblings and the Archangel, but his anger was making him stronger.
"I will have your head, Worm, " he said to Aura while walking in circles around them, "Yours and them as well!"
In a display of impressive speed, the huge werewolf banished from sight, both Siblings were surprised, but the most surprised was Sifrei, how was it possible for a fey that big to - a scream then was heard and Aura came crashing against Sifrei's back, a wound of considerable size on her back.
"Hang on!" Sifrei said to Aura as he put his hand over the wound, "don't worry, I got you."
At this point Aura was actually unconsious after the powerful blow on her back, Aurion saw this and ran towards Sifrei and his sister.
"Get her back, Sifrei, she needs the healers!" He said to the Archangel, "I will try to hold him down."
Sifrei knew that there was no time to argue and without saying word he took the younger Aeternum and disappeared. Fenrir was about to follow, but was stopped by Aurion.
"I told you her head would be mine, I just need to go and retrieve it," Fenrir said while smirking, "Her armor saved her from the full blow, but she fell nonetheless. Now it's your turn, Little Man!"
Both warriors lunged at each other, Aurion spun and used the momentum to attack with his sword, said attack was stopped by Fenrir's claw, he still suffered a damage on that claw. Now both warriors were locked in that position, Aurion only had to resist until Sifrei came back.

(Sifrei has withdrawn from the battlefield momentarily with Aura, will return shortly. Aura is unconscious and is out of the battlefield.)

(Finally managed to post. These past few days have been hell. Aura will be so heartbroken once she wakes up, just like I was after I made my choice.)

--Queen Shiva -- Kilkis Seres: Center Flank VS Soren and Mariel--

A humorless chuckle escaped the queen as Soren prepared to launch an attack at her, stating that her death was required.  "So he told you that much, did he?  That my death was the requirement to taking down the barrier?  I knew it would only be a matter of time before he saw it that way and decided to disregard my life.  As noble as Raiden is, even he sees the necessity of some sacrifices, even those dear to the heart."

It was . . . a unique choice of words that Soren used, and even though Raiden hadn't told a soul the secret of the barrier's existence, Shiva had assumed that was what Soren was implying.  It broke the queen's heart.  Raiden, her partner and soulmate for some many years, starting this war to likely kill just her.  A broken heart was good on the battlefield, however, as it brought out a further passion for preservation.

As Soren began to slash with his claymore the queen jerked to the side, bringing forth her sword and charging along the sentinel's left side.  She brought her sword alongside him, though likely ended in meeting his own strikes with the claymore.  She gritted her teeth as she held the weight of his massive claymore behind her much-smaller silver sword.  This man was strong, and bore the opposite element of herself.  It could play in her favor, but also against her.

"It was the humans that chose such a low level of existence," Shiva murmured, blade still locked with Soren's.  "Had they not chosen genocide for us fey when given the chance to live among us, maybe things today would be very different."

She kicked off from the ground, leaping several feet in the air, as Soren charged and shot forth his orbs of hellfire where she had initially stood.  She began forming her hands in an intricate pattern, as several small glyphs began to glow around her.  Behind her a portal emerged, and out came a centaur-looking rider--made entirely of ice.  It made its descent on the ground and charged Soren, taking a horizontal strike at him with his ice axe.

Meanwhile, the queen directed her attention toward the guardian angel, who seemed particularly tense about her fellow comrade.  Shiva thought that this reaction was rather curious, but made no mention of it as she responded to Mariel.

"Forgive me for stating the flaw in your logic," Shiva called out, still in the air.  Her heels hit the soil as she descended, making her way to Mariel's position.  "One of dark origins would likely see the good in something evil long before those good would be able to do so, so this traitor seeing the good in these humans matters not to me.  And I will not lie: there are some good humans, and it is regrettable that such a sacrifice must be made."

At this Shiva shook her head.  Thoughts of Raiden's betrayal slowly brought tears to the ice queen's eyes, but she fought them back with all of her strength as she held her sword high.  She thrust her sword toward Mariel's chest, and with her free hand shot forth a blast of arctic wind.  If it struck, it would likely freeze what met its path, at least temporarily.

--Elia Cabret -- Kilkis Seres: Right Flank--

The young fairy watched in disbelief as Raleigh started to walk away.  Should she really let her leave?  It didn't seem like Elia was being much a soldier if she accepted mercy from the enemy and escaped, but what else could she do?  She was injured and stood no match for Raleigh.  The human was gifted with the bow, as well as her own knack for survival and acrobatics.

Elia sat up, blinking as she watched Raleigh's back.  "You're . . . letting me live?"

Shakily the raven-haired girl rose to her feet, though made no motion to go after Raleigh again.  For her first encounter with a human, she had to say it surprised her to find that they were so powerful, and for them to have such a sense of honor.  She always envisioned humans to be barbarians and warmongerers, ravaging towns and killing innocents for the sake of killing.  Not from Raleigh.  The woman, though hardened by a rough life, extended mercy upon her enemy, something that she wasn't sure even most fey could do.  Was she wrong about humans entirely?

With battered breath, Elia darted toward the back lines once more with the remaining healers, hoping that one of them could aid her so that she may provide support for the back line and the injured once again.

--Curvis Sourati -- Mystras: Right Flank conversing with Aqua--

A grim smile curved the corners of his mouth, attracting attention to a deep gash on his temple.  "Yeah, I'm one of those fabled humans from your history books, all right."  He extended his arms and did a half circle jokingly.  "Am I anything like you pictured?"

He placed a finger on his chin, taking in all of Aqua's features.  "If I were to guess, I would say that you are some breed of elf, though I may be very much mistaken.  There are so many races here, and all of them look rather similar to me.  I certainly mean no offense by my guess, if inaccurate."

Curvis approached Aqua slowly, before extending a hand.  It was covered in dirt and not the cleanest, though what was on the battlefield?

"My name is Curvis," he told her.  "And yours?"

Before they could speak longer, however, a tree suddenly caught up in flames beside them.  A mage in Kilkis Seres robes approached them, staff raised high, attempting to shoot another torrent of flame toward Curvis.

"Get back!" the mage ordered Aqua.  "I do not wish to shoot you by mistake."

--Ren Mordecai -- Mystras: Left flank VS Meksis--

The enchanted armor was too fast for him.  In mere moments he snuck up beside him and was slashing into his preexisting wound from earlier.  The pain was almost intolerable.  A cry escaped Ren as he clawed at Meksis to get away, but then came the very interesting part: his weapon transforming into a spear that he tossed in Ren's direction at high velocity.  He batted at it with his spiky tail, which ricocheted off, cracking his spikes slightly.

The only way that Ren could damage Meksis was to get up close and personal, to which the dragon attempted.  He flew toward Meksis again, this time biting at his wing.  If he managed to seize hold of him, he would shake him furiously from side to side, black wing embedded in his jaw before finally releasing.

He then spun quickly, his spike-laden tail coming at Meksis with a fair amount of intensity as he attempted to lash him with it.

- Alastor - The Storm Lord - Vs Rhaedyn and Nergal -

Alastor turned his head towards Nergal, who had managed to dodge his attack, but had his mask damaged, and his face was now revealed to both him and Rhaedyn, not that Alastor cared much for his figure, the man was a good fighter, and that was all that mattered for him. He was actualy enjoying it, maybe enjoying it was not the right word, entertained by both Rhaedyn and Nergal's displays of power.

Nergal shouted angrily at Alastor, who let out a chuckle. Before extending his arms, swords still in hand, in an open stance. practialy screaming 'Come at me'. The storm Rabyiu casted was still active, this was  good. Very good.

"Give me your best shot man of the void." Alastor spoke back to Nergal. Now Alastor had no intentions of fully taking the hit head on, of course he'd try to block or even deflect it. If push comes to shove...he might even have to use "it".

- Draksis - The Black Knight - Vs Yevgeni Malachite -

"The Queen has no intention of allowing a truce. And even if that were to happen we humans would just be thrown back into our world to wait out its inevitable demise." Draksis replied to Yevgeni's plea for him to stay out of it

Draksis was not visibly surprised or shaken by Yevgeni's show of power...or the wings. Scoffing as he held his helmet in his hands before putting it on. Fully clad in his Signature black knight armor. Draksis remained still, unmoved.

"Your judgement matters not to me." Draksis spoke. As he quickly maneuvered his off hand onto the back of his belt and threw a bomb forward, it was no ordinary bomb, but a flashbang, thankfuly his helmet would protect his eyes from the light, hoping this would distract Yevgeni enough for Draksis to make his move, in a quick dash forward, Draksis spun around and with the momentum swung his longsword at Yevgeni's horse. Hoping to cripple the beast. To make sure Yevgeni had no means of getting out of the fight...unless he could fly with those wings.

Whether the move worked or not Draksis took a step back and waited for Yevgeni's move.

- Maxis - The Living Armor - Watching the spectacle -

Maxis was on his way, looking for Henry amidst the blood soaked battlefield, but he had to admit, he was pretty lost. Tracking was useless, since it was all out war with soldiers running and stabbing each other. And people dying...many people dying.

It didn't take long for him to notice an unusual sight. One which interested him greatly. An elf...elves themselves were pretty rare nowadays, especially since they were mostly neutral. THis elf was fighting a Druid. he did not know who was on what side, and really. he didn't care much.

"Yo what she said?" His clone asked him, materializing from his shadow. "Ancient elven gibberish I bet." The original Maxis spoke with a laugh, "Thousands of years and I still don't understand anything about the ancient elven language. Oh well." He spoke shrugging, as he continued his search for Henry.

- Lord Raiden, Mystras, Left Flank, VS Jynn -

Eyes blinking in efforts of understanding the situation at hand, Raiden kept his guard up, his sword arm ready and his offhand locked nearby in the potential case that he needed to block.  This state, this black lightning -- he had heard of such a malignant ability, one that was only noted about in old tomes, but there was never enough information about it, or what to do when seeing it.  Witnessing it firsthand, however, evoked a great wariness from the ruler of Mystras.  Even if the sword lost its edge this current situation might be a little worse, but he kept his chin up and remained prepared, search magic still analysing the prince.

"Your appearance looks forboding and your eyes look crazed, like a beast of the wilds or a madman without reason.  'Berserker' does not make a good title for a prince.  It only instills fear and doubt from your fellows rather than fear and adoration, and it won't save you from me any longer than if you stayed the same."

Smirking, he changed stance, preparing for a nasty assault and readying a dangerous counter for when Jynn closed the gap, one that required great timing and precision.  Charging in was not going to be the best solution, not yet anyways, and so he remained steadfast.

- Reginald Heathertoes, Kilkes Seres, Center Flank, VS Rabiyu -

The druid grasped his sunglasses with bark-covered fingers as he analysed the situation from behind his stone wall, confused as to what was going on until the violent explosion occurred from around the elf.  This was exothermic magic at its finest, combusting everything around the caster while leaving the caster unscathed by its fantastic amount of heat.  At this time he wished he had water magic to test a theory or two of his, and holding his hand to the ground to further the briars' ability to entangle was now useless without briars to do the entangling.

Lifting himself, he observed further and paled a little when he observed a new arrow than before, one black in appearance and, dare he say it, far more dangerous in appearance as well.  This was only enhanced when she started chanting, and he decided now was time to abandon his shelter.

And abandon it he did, leaving his post as soon as the girl stopped her chant.  His bark armour made him sluggish to start up, but once he built up speed he was well on his way.  He did not take into consideration an explosion rocketing out from behind him, however.  He was airborne for a time before rolling close to his troops, his body armour taking almost all of the brunt but his wound opened up further from the constant motion.  If only he removed the tail of the arrow earlier.  It snapped from the fall but not before lodging the arrow painfully deeper.

"Enjoying this, dearie?  Same.  I do so adore winning," he commented back, pointing at her with both index fingers.  "Double Toxin Fugue."

Again, a double spell reached maturity from the druid, and his hands opened up fully with fingers together.  The first spell being cast was a poison cloud manifested from the ground, closer to him than to Rabiyu, made from the bacteria in the humus of the ground.  The second spell was something nastier, a flurry of sand that passed through the poison cloud and became coated with it as it surged toward Rabiyu.  To make matters worse, his fingers spread as the sand reached the halfway point between him and her, allowing the sand to cover a larger cone of effect than before.  This made things even trickier to dodge.

The sand barrage, while practically harmless before in Surging Simoom, was now weaponised to deliver poison to Rabiyu's received wounds from the thorns and shrapnel.  If she was affected, the symptoms would be slow but dangerous:  it would be hard to breathe at first, then would numb her fingers and toes, then would acutely drain the ability to use magic in any shape or form.  The effects were not long-lasting, ending in a few minutes, but in a battle it could turn the tide.

- Raleigh Marin, Mystras, Left Flank, after fight with Elia -

Raleigh watched the fairy head off as they parted ways towards their respective sides.  Apparently Elia had no intentions of relieving her sword, the shamshir still hanging by her side, but even if the weapon had been with her for a good number of years the female assassin did not give chase.  What a waste of a balanced sword, she chastised herself later, being given to the enemy like that.

The arrow lodged within her leg pained her horrendously as she left the battlefront and limped her way to a Mystran healer.  The arrow cut cleanly through muscle, but no ligaments or major sinews were torn besides one, from what she was aware.  She would make quick recovery if the Overworld's magic was as strong as she heard it to be, but for now she was out of commission.  In the meanwhile, she had much to consider, the chiefest one of all being where to get a good sword befitting her tastes.

(Raleigh left the battlefield for healing.)

 - Henry and Maxis - The Armor battle -

The push was going very smoothly, the right flank was pretty badly defended, him and his allies managed to push towards the last healer,

"Alright! last healer of the flank, time to capture him!" Henry spoke with a newfound enthusiasm as he kicked a soldier in the leg, strong enough to send him onto the ground as he charged forward towards the healer.

As he charged, and cleaved a soldier's chest with his sword, he stopped hearing his allies, who were following closely behind him, but he paid no mind, as he was in battle and had no time to do so. He quickly arrived at the healer, who was protected by two soldiers, easily handled by crippling one's leg with his sword upon dodging a swing and quickly elbowing the second one before he could act.

"Found you!" He heard a...familiar voice, before he could do anything to the healer Maxis had flown towards him like a torpedo. Henry barely managed to side step, and witness Maxis's arm go straight through the healer's chest, who had not moved out of the way.

"Oh..." Maxis spoke, casualy as always. "I missed." He spoke, casualy pushing the healer's corpse off his arm as he turned to Henry.

"Missed me?" Maxis spoke, in a gleeful but also sadistic tone.

'What the?'

'What?'

'This killing intent...his aura...'

'Thats all I needed...'

Henry had the brief conversation with Ariana as Maxis simply slow walked towards him, arms opened, one dripping with blood.

"You killed your ally." Henry criticized Maxis, taking a step back. causing Maxis to chuckle as he did not stop his walk. "I don't care...you are the priority, my boy." Maxis spoke, madness magic literaly leaking off his armor. As he dashed towards Henry, literaly vanishing in and out of reality for a second before ending up in front of Henry, trying to punch him.

Henry managed to grab Maxis's punch and match it with strenght, "Fine. Lets end this" Henry spoke, gritting his teeth in anger, as his aura began increasing too. Until he noticed the madness magic leaking off Maxis's arm inching towards him, into his arm. This distracted Henry long enough for Maxis to deliver a crushing headbutt to Henry.

The headbutt stunned him, staggering him as he stepped back, even with hardened skin Maxis's punch cut right through, before he could recompose himself Maxis quickly spun around in a reverse roundhouse kick, filled with madness energy, Henry blocked it with his arms, but the energy exploded on contact, this energy...it was like none he or Ariana had ever seen...it seemed to completely negate Henry's armored skin and magical resistance. Henry was flung into the air extremely far.

Rabiyu and Reginauld would notice him flying straight through the middle of their battle, as he landed on his back, with great force, barely able to withstand it without magic.

"Damn..." Henry spoke, clutching his head, as he noticed...blood, coming out of his forehead, coming just  on top of his right eye. "Shit..." Henry grunted. 'This is bad...' Ariana spoke. barely managing to stand up. "Thank god injuries recover faster..." Henry spoke, winded by the attack.

'He nullified my magic defenses...'

'He seem to be able to nullify it at will, this will be troublesome.'

'How do I beat him if he can nullify me?'

'He can nullify your defenses, but I don't think he can do it to your offenses as well.'

'Definitely worth a shot.'

Rabiyu and Reginauld would also possibly notice afterwards, Maxis casualy walking by their fight. "Excuse me, sorry to bother you two and your fun game, but my 'friend' just got flung here...sorry about that. teehee~" Maxis spoke in the most frighteningly sadistic and casual tone one could ever hope to hear, his aura clearly imposing and unatural. "don' mind me." Maxis spoke, giving a wave towards both Reginauld and Rabyiu.

- Front Flank - Arthur (Side: Rebellion of Mystras) vs Morana (Side: Kilkis Seres) & Alex vs Wendigo Boss -

The Wendigo swung its mighty figure around, reaching at anyone that he could grab. He picked up one soldier, about to rip it in two, until Alex's flask landed right on its head. The Wendigo screamed in agony as it dropped the soldier, scratching and clawing at its head as it shook around wildly. He clawed at the skull that protected him, now trying to rip it off and rip the fire away from him. He ripped burnt flesh off, throwing it away as rotten blood spewed from the newly formed wounds before splattering itself with it, using it in an attempt to kill the fire with the only liquid at hand. The skull cracked underneath the heat of the fire, pieces falling off as it showed the Wendigo's deformed, true, decayed face. Eyes glazed over milky white, rotten flesh hanging on as part of the skeleton beneath exposed itself, weathered down to the elements. It quickly focused on the source of its trouble; Alex, signaling him out among the field. It roared again, all focus on Alex this time heading straight towards him reaching its claws out to rip him to pieces.

Arthur used his sword to cut away at the plants that tried to tie him down. Once Morana saw a chance, she dashed towards Arthur once more. Arthur raised his shield to protect himself, getting onto his feet and running at Morana to bash his shield against her. As they ran at each other, at the very last second, Morana dropped down, sliding beneath the shield and right beneath Arthur. Before Arthur could react Morana jumped onto her feet, clawing at Arthur right across the face, human blood following her fingertips as she ripped through the skin with ease. Arthur screamed in pain, waving his sword wildly in desperation. Morana barely dodged it, jumping back to a safe distance as she watched the human unfold. Arthur kept his eyes closed shut, every time he tried to open them the blood would drip in and cause them to burn. He used his scarf to wipe away the blood as best he could, hissing at the pain of live skin ripped and exposed on his face. Three slashes, three scars, from three claws. One from the bottom right of his face going across his eye down to his lip, the other right in the middle across his face, the third one right across the left eye down to his cheek. He couldn't see, dammit. His vision blurred red in pain. "You should give up while you can, human." Morana said as she watched Arthur. "This world is ours. You can't claim to survive in a place you can't even understand." Arthur growled, gripping his sword tightly as he felt his figure beginning to shake. He couldn't give in. Not now. Not this far. "Shut up!" Arthur growled, pressing his forehead against the back of the shield. "Just shut up! You say that I don't understand this world, but I can be sure that you don't understand mine either...you don't know what we've been through!" Arthur yelled, struggling to keep his eyes open through the pain. Morana flinched, but only slightly. "Then so be it."

This is how the scars will look like btw

- Soren Monroe, Enforcer and Strategist of Mystras - Center Flank, V.S Queen Shiva w/ Mariel -

The Queen of Kilkis Seres was not a feeble warrior, far from it, only a fool would ever make that assumption, but not even Soren would be prepared for her true might. She met each and every one of his blows exactly, despite her battered state from her bouts with Mariel, calmly retorting Soren's speech and stating that the Humans who were at fault back then are responsible for this. After Soren's Hellfire Orbs were dodged, Shiva called forth an Ice Centaur, wielding a massive Ice Axe and charged Soren's position with it. The Frost-based construct seemed formidable, but Soren easily avoided its horizontal strike and dashed a little closer to it, retaliating by thrusting his open hand towards it, expelling a thin bloom of Hellfire, its heat intensified and right in the Centaur's face, the Ice melting away quickly and causing it to reel in pain. Seizing the moment, Soren bashed away the Centaur's weapon and impaled it with his Claymore, dragging the blade to it's right and swiftly ending the Centaur, which collapsed to the ground before Soren turned sharply to Shiva and Mariel.

"I am of the belief that times change, Shiva! I told you, the Humans only attack out of desperation, not of the malice we saw long ago!" He pointed at her aggressively as he spoke, but he calmed down a little when he continued. "I won't deny what I am. My demonic nature doesn't lend itself well to my actions. But I cannot stand by and watch them die!" Following this, Soren voicelessly charged Shiva, attempting to force her blade away from Mariel and initiate a clash, wishing for Shiva to face him directly. "You do, however, raise a point...Humans did meet our generosity with open warfare. But even after all this time, tell me why! Tell me why you refuse to believe they can change! Do you truly think them irredeemable?!" Soren seemingly pleaded with Shiva, his aggression bled away to an insatiable curiosity. "My queen, answer me this, I implore you." Soren's inflections conveyed a deadly serious tone, he wanted to know, he needed to know. Many a time he and Shiva had discussed the Humans, every time they disagreed...yet he always respected her, perhaps too much, as he never asked the hard questions. Until now.

- Meksis, the Defiled, Armour of Darkness - Kilkis Right/Mystras Left, V.S Black Dragon Ren -

His slashes landed true, but Meksis's lance had been deflected. Now, the Black Dragon was upon him, jaws open, vying to savage his black angel wing. Yet, Meksis could only chuckle as he chose to allow Ren to bite at him, but not his wing, for he flew more directly into the path of Ren's jaws, placing his armour self in his wing's stead, knowing that Ren's teeth, though mighty, would have trouble biting through. Seizing his chance, Meksis resisted the clasp of Ren's jaws by pushing them outwards with his arms and legs, giving him just enough leeway to extend a hand towards the Dragon's uvula and simply expelled pure Dark Energy towards it and down Ren's throat, with the aim to cause even more pain.

"I don't care how long it takes, I will leave you writhing in the dirt!"

Meksis spoke with sadistic glee and a venomous tone, resummoning his Greatsword just to stab into Ren's tongue and kick himself free of his clasp and hover in front of him, awaiting the results. That Dark Energy would bring much pain and could potentially explode inside of him, as it was quite unstable.

- Nergal, Remnant of Meksis, the Dormant and Hollow Wind - Kilkis Healer Backline, Charging Up, V.S Alastor w/ Rhaedyn -

Nergal's power was rising rapidly, he was truly putting everything he had into this attack, his energy beginning to cascade around him, but his aura was also beginning to focus. The sheer power being generated was enough to lift dirt and stones around him as if they were no longer affected by gravity, enough to begin shifting the clouds above them and shake the Earth around him. The "man of the void" as Alastor put it, was growling, roaring and straining, his energy building up as he now extended both of his arms forward sharply, placing both of his open hands together by their bottoms, his palms facing Alastor and his fingers curled. Nothingness Energy was now concentrated into his hands, occasionally sparking as Ball Lightning in the middle of both hands, at first a small spark, but it soon grew enough to trail Lightning across the ground towards, Alastor. A mere display of the power, not the attack, for the electricity simply went past and around Alastor, their energies negligible in the face of what Nergal was preparing.

His body twitching, his muscles seemingly grown due to the exertion if only minorly, now Nergal was really feeling it.

"Now! If you truly wish to prove your strength! Stay right where you are! Hrrrrgh!"

Nergal would begin to chuckle confidently regardless of what Alastor said or did, his move was ready, he had concentrated all of the Energy he had to spare, it was building to a breaking point in his clasp. For but a moment, he wondered what might happen...would he explode? Would the Overworld be unable to cope with this sheer power? Or would he simply prove Alastor is not invincible...? Whatever the case, Nergal truly felt alive in this tense moment and began to release himself, staring straight at Alastor.

"Now! TAKE MY POWER! TO! IT'S! LAST DROP! FINAL FLAAAASH!!"

With one final roar, Nergal released the energy in its entirety, firing a massive yellow-white coloured beam at Alastor, that seemed to grow in size to a massive scale, enough to envelop whomever was in its path in a constant stream of destructive energy. It would rocket towards Alastor at high speed and whether or not it hit him, it would continue past or through him across a vast distance, the sheer power exerted continued to shake the ground and anyone within a thousand miles would see this attack. In fact, the beam was so potent it would continue into the far horizon and beyond, beyond the reach of the Overworld and as far as it can go before something got in its way.

- Rabiyu - Rebellion of Mystras - between center and right flank -

"That's two of us, Druid," Rabiyu answered, "But that is true for everyone."
The wind around the Elf began to gether around her, while normally invisible, this time the wind was almost visible and it was moving around the elf, making Reginald's attack move faster towards her.
"Your Queen for example, or even Raiden. Everyone wants to win," she said as she looked towards the Druid, "the question is, what is everyone willing to do to obtain what they wish."
The Elf was now inside a sphere made of wind, keeping the sand, and the poison, outside. She slowly spread her arms and the sphere burst outwards, sending any trace of the sand and poison away from her. She was done with dragon speech to cast, that was for when she tried to keep things calm, but now she was having fun, and she was going to enjoy taking the Druid's life. That was until she saw the Dreadnought flying straight through the middle of the battle, and the one who was following him. The Elf's eyes followed the Armor slowly, he looked normal, but he was far from it. Their aura felt unnatural, he clearly wanted Henry's head, and he was enjoying each second of it.
"I wonder if I should help him? If he died then the Siblings would be sad, and their quest would have been for nothing," she thought as she watched Maxis walking away, "Or I could keep playing with the Druid for a little while longer before taking his soul and devour it."
Then she felt another raise in the arcane flow around the battlefield, coming from Alastor's way, but it was not Alastor, nor the Iron Lord, it was the other one. The massive blast of energy that was unleashed really surprised the Elf, and it made her wonder if Alastor would be alright.
"It looks like my squadmates are having fun, should I kick it up a notch too?" Rabiyu asked Reginald, "I could use forbidden magic, magic capable to turn anyone to ash in the blink of an eye. To flay the victim's flesh from their bones. Make them obey my every whim before giving them a slow and painful death. I could turn everyone here into stone, and silence would fall! How about I destroy all life and turn this whole area into a desert!"
Those words were not hers, and yet they came out from her own mouth. The excitement was there, and yet she wanted to scream, to make it stop. That would be taking things too far, they only had to make the Queen surrender, not murder all of Kilkis Seres' army. The Elf let out a sigh and shrugged.
"That would be boring though," She said, "Zii do su, gaar hin nah ahrk drun amativ qo wah nos tum!"
Rabiyu raised her arm, and a finger towards the sky, slowly lowering her arm until her finger was pointing at the Druid, a second later a loud sound could be heard and a big bolt of lightning was coming down from the sky towards Reginald.

Jynn Venas-Front Flank VS Raiden

Raiden's words were muffed out by the sudden increase of Jynn's senses, but Jynn's eyes are heavily focused on the ruler of Mystras. Two of Raiden's soldiers attempt to preform a sneak attack, but little do they know that they have written their death sentences. As soon as the two soldiers swing their blades downwards to the prince's back, they are deflected by Jynn's swords. The prince jumps backwards while using his legs to smash the warriors into each other. Upon landing, the Leviathan and La Justicerè found themselves impaling the soldiers, ending their lives. Jynn has finally purposely and mindlessly killed two people, let alone one. He is out of his own control and insane, and anybody who knows the prince, knows that he is incredibly merciful. After withdrawing his swords from the soldiers, Jynn's focus shifts back to Raiden. He lets out a haunting and extremely loud battle cry, with black thunderbolts crashing the ground around him.

He then begins his assault by spinning the Leviathan, emitting five large black orbs of devastating electricity, but instead of orbiting the prince, the spiral outwards towards Raiden. But that was not all, Jynn also preforming an attack with the Waking Leviathan (in an attack exactly like Raging Storm). Three black bolts spiral around Jynn, with the Leviathan orbiting around him too. Jynn then attempts to ram into Raiden with the bolts.

{Mariel: Mystras Rebellion; Center Flank - w/ Soren VS Shiva}

Mariel gritted her teeth at Shiva's response. Aroggent Eidolon! Just like her father! Ripping both blades out of the ground, she prepared to charge when the Queen struck out with her sword and ice. While her swords were moving to defensive positions, The Guardian Angel would have taken both attacks directly if not for Soren. The demon's block saved Mariel the sword, but the arctic wind still came for her. It hit Heaven's Flame, causing the magical fire to wink out, though it did weaken the wind so that it only froze the arm and wing on Mariel's right side.

Grunting in pain, Mariel dropped to a knee briefly as she processed and pushed away the numbing pain. She tried to reignite Heaven's Fire, but the steaming blade wasn't responding. Angling her frozen extremities away from the fight, Mariel lunged into the lock between Soren and Shiva, thrusting Bright Guard in to try and trap the Queen's blade. As she did so, the former Archon issued a sonic scream at Shiva, tightening up the sonic cone for more power and to avoid harming Soren with it.

- Alastor - The Storm god -  Vs Rhaedyn and Nergal - INDIGNATION -

Alastor stood strong as Nergal charged his attack, quite flashy, and a commendable show of strenght, he had to give the void man credit, he was actualy making void seem like a worthwhile magic school to train in, too bad the last of the void mages died centuries ago. So the fact that the man could even wild such power, much less bring so much of it into one attack was impressive.

Alastor stabbed both his swords on the ground, to better help him balance himself when the attack flew at him, and it hit him in full, the gloriously flashy attack completely engulfed Alastor within it, in a spectacular lightshow, Alastor stood strong, withstanding the blast as much as he could, putting his right arm in front of him to shield his face. as his left held onto his sword, Wind's Howl, for balance. 'I think...these two are worth the trouble...' Alastor thought to himself as his eyes flashed a bright color of blue, as they...changed in a split second to a reptile-like appearance, as Nergal's attack completely erase his right arm's armor, to reveal his tatoos from his old life. Dragon tatoos on his arm and several magical symbols that looked like runes were shown in it as they began glowing, a small barrier began to emerge in front of Alastor, to further shield him from the blast. He wished he'd never have to use this power again, his Drakon mode.

The blast ended itself in a massive explosion, as Alastor managed to stop it from going past him and endangering the lives of the people behind him.

as the smoke subsided, Nergal and Rhaedyn would be able to see that Alastor did not move, he was kneeling, still clinging onto his sword. His aura was dim and weak, he looked as if he was incapacitated and with no way to stand in their way anymore...except...

Slowly, Alastor began to move his body upwards, his helmet's right side of the eye broken, revealing his reptilian-like eye.  And his right arm was fully exposed, revealing the magical runes embedded within it in the form of dragon tatoos.

Alastor slowly pulled only one sword out of the ground, the one he was holding for balance during the attack, Wind's howl. "Well Wind's howl...its your turn..." Alastor muttered as he slowly began a march towards Nergal. As his aura was now returning to the level it was before, and his eyes and runes began glowing.

"Since you've sent your most powerful attack towards me...i'l pay it back in kind." Alastor spoke, as he vanished into thin air with a spark of lightning.

Reappearing in front of Nergal, with his free hand extended towards him with an open fist as a massive shockave shot towards Nergal, with the intent of knocking the man back.

If Nergal had been knocked back by the shockwave Alastor would follow suit with a barrage of lightning fast slashes, masively empowered with storm magic and Alastor new power. Draconic energy, which looked like a different aura altogether coming off his right arm and eyes. Empowering the attack further, as he finished the combo while Nergal would still be mid -air, he released another shockwave, teleporting above nergal and doing so, with the intent of knocking the man towards the ground, as Alastor flashed again, this time standing around 10 meters away from Nergal.

"I who stand in the full light of the heavens..." As Alastor began chanting, a massive glyph like circle formed around Nergal, impeding the man's movement through a massive gravity spike. "...Call upon thee who openeth the gates of hell..." As Alastor chanted another phrase, move and more glyphs began showing, forming a collum of glyps-like circles, with Nergal in the center. "Come forth divine lightning!" Alastor chanted as he held out his hand, open towards the sky, as a massive flash of light began to shine at the top of the glyph collumn. "INDIGNATION!" Alastor shouted as he quickly motioned his hand downards. As a extremely powerful bolt of lightning fell from the sky, on top of Nergal's position, with extraordinary force, this attack could be seen from the entire battlefield, as the pillar of glyphs was indeed massive, around 60 meters tall, in fact. As well as the massive shockwave that followed by the impact of the attack onto the ground where Nergal stood as well.

(Basicaly...I did this. The attack itself starts at 6 seconds)

- Lord Raiden, Mystras, Left Flank, VS Jynn -

Raiden bit back an angry, vengeful cry as two of his soldiers, in a hasty attempt on the prince's life, was slain by Jynn.  From all of his reports and previous actions, he seemed relinquishing and sparing to the common soldier, but not now.  At the moment, Raiden had to conclude that this was a new side to the prince and that he was not like his previous self.  Perhaps, in some manner or form, he was much like Raiden now:  in an effort to quell the bloodshed, he was willing to shed blood.  This was not the time for idle speculation, however.  It was time to defend and counterattack.

Sword still ahead of him, the ruler of Mystras swept out his free hand.  Lightning trailed from body to extremities to body in a constant cycle, gradually developing and forging solid arcing lines of electricity coursing along the outside of his body.  Lightning armour -- a formidable counter to anything electrical, along with the added effect that it did not limit Raiden's movements.  After eyeing the spiraling electricity orbs heading toward him, he swiped at each and every one of them with his sword, channeling the powerful electricity through the tip of his sword and around him, but not through him.  The intensity of the black lightning arcs singed his pale skin even with the abundant lightning armour, yet for the most part the sheer power was doused.  In terms of repelling forces, like resists like.

Next up was the bolts of circling energy around a charging Jynn.  Smirking, he waited until Jynn came close once more and sidestepped, using the armour as a magical resource to hurl himself far away very quickly and, after resetting himself in the proper stance, unleashed a forked bolt of lightning that would overwhelm the slow-moving defenses of the prince, one to Jynn's right (the side to which he figured the prince would make an attempt to dodge) and one directly at Jynn.  He had to thank The Infiltrator later.  There lay so much utility in quick-casting with already set spells.  In the meantime, his search magic was still active, sniffing out potential exploitation and gathering information.

- Reginald Heathertoes, Kilkes Seres, Center Flank, VS Rabiyu -

The druid eyed the strange duo of Henry and Maxis as they passed between Rabiyu's and his fight.  Were they infighting, or was the armour on his side?  It did not matter to him for the moment.  This elf needed to go beyond either that enchanted armour or that rude musclehead that destroyed his golem.  She was the shock troops' ticket to survival, holding the floodgates open for Mystran troops to surge into a damaged flank.  If she fell, they fell, along with much of Mystras' offensive force.

The change in personality coming from Rabiyu, however, left him frowning, as did her assault.  The bolt of lightning struck him head-on, dropping him to both knees, but the barkskin did the trick well enough and redirected the majority of the damaging electricity away from him.  Such armour would not save him one more time, however.  So much of it was deteriorated from the fiery explosion and the lightning bolt that it was no longer useful, and he sloughed the bark off in large chunks, the last of it falling off his face and removing the dark glasses from his face.

"If you are speaking of the Silencing and other spells, little lady, forget it," Reggie responded chidingly, painfully rising to his feet and withdrawing a multicoloured necklace of tags and charms interwoven together from his robes.  "My meticulously crafted talismans can make every one of them backfire, so you'd better stick to your own resources.  Five-Tined Fork."

His eyes as green as emeralds glinted dangerously as four stone ballista bolts jettisoned from the ground in each of Rabiyu's cardinal directions (front, back, left, and right) and soared toward her current position, aiming for her stomach and, if they missed, would not hit Reginald.  To make matters worse, a very sharp stalagmite would rise from the ground beneath Rabiyu (if she did not move), break off, and launch itself into the sky upwards like a missile.

Fire, electricity, water, air -- it seemed as if the only elements she could not fully grasp was wood and earth, which just so happened to be his specialty.  And that speech . . . was that elven or was that something more?  Whatever it was, he had to silence that mouth of hers.

-Rhaedyn Thane and Nergal vs Alastor-

The massive rune tower that signaled the deployment of Indignation caused Thane's pause to turn to action. His mighty spear slammed into the ground, and he bowed his head.

"Oh Dea Lux, hear my call. Permit thine subject's blessing be used by me, to fufill thine host's sacred duty."

He was still, before a single drop of water fell, striking his helmet. He raised his head, looking at the tower. "Rally to me, Soldiers of Seres! Lest you face your demise." Rhaedyn Thane began to glow as those in the blast radius scrambled in terror, finding safety behind the Iron Lord.

"Goddess Seal Light, Gift of Rhea, I call upon the souls of the departed - come to my aid, and be thy shield. Protect the defenseless, guard the broke. May I be the Wall upon which Darkness breaks. Seal of Light, Shield of Absolution." A massive wall of runes began to appear before him, forming a massive wall. "Seventh Heaven!"

The wall formed. "Nergal! Your time runs short, should Indignation be unleashed!"

-Eclaire vs Alderon-

Eclaire kicked back, gaining distance. It was true. The nobility of her Valkyrie blood did bring her....but he was right. A mere human, with a magic blade and mythril. She was letting her own fears hold her back. She couldn't. Not when her very being screamed get to Shiva.

"You are right. My noble blood calls for honor. But I have lived and fought without honor. Survival above all...and the survival of the one I love is on the line." She summoned In Paradisum to her hand once more. "In Paradisum, Fifth Configuration - Storm of Spears." Five new spears surrounded her, and floated in a good semi circle. Each of them soon was charged with lightning. "Sixth Seal of the Goddess - Ruination of the False Sovereign." She threw her hands out, firing all five spears, one after another, at Alderon. "This ends now!" She roared. Her wings burst forth, one angel, snow-white, and another a demonic bat, black as night. She took to the skies and began throwing upon Alderon her Light magic, unleashing her mother's signature move - Albion's Light. Bolts of pure Light magic peppered Alderon, the Queen's Retainer betrayed the very blood she was told to embrace - all for the sake of the one she loved above all.

I will be there soon, Shiva. Hold on.

- Rabiyu - Rebellion of Mystras - between center and right flank -

"Impressive that you know what I speak of, Druid, but alas, that would make this game rather boring. Besides, I'm still not completely...Anyways," Rabiyu replied, "I have other things to do while this fight is still going. You're just a distraction while I decide what to do next."

Rabiyu could hear the sound of the wind and how it shifted, she then noticed that four stone bolts were coming her way. She waited, and waited, and waited for a little while longer, she had to make her move at the right time. Just when the bolts were close enough she jumped over them leaving a sphere of mist, said sphere absorved the bolts before it disappeared and she landed on the same spot.

"You're barely on your feet, Druid, but I can respect the fact that you made it this far," she said while smiling, "Sadly, I must continue with my assignment, which means that I have to defeat you, or kill you, whichever comes first."

As she was speaking, four middle sized spheres appeared closer to each of Reginald's cardinal directions, the bolts coming out of them and continue their way towards the Druid, his own attack would be his demise, they would barely give him time to dodge, but if he was lucky then he would survive. On the other hand, Rabiyu barely had the time to notice the stalagmite that suddenly came out of the ground, she jumped but the stalagmite launch itself, impaling her, and taking her with it into the sky.

To anyone looking it would seem that the Elf was done for, she just had been impaled after all, even Reginald would be distracted dodging his own attack to notice the two clouds of mist that appeared on the Elf's stomach and lower back, the stalagmite entered the first rip in space and came out from the second one giving the illusion of impalement, her cloak also providing cover thanks to it fluttering on the wind. Rabiyu was actually flying, following the same direction of the stalagmite to complete the illusion.

- Aurion vs Fenrir - Rebellion of Mystras - Center Flank -

Aurion was having troubles keeping the Werewolf in place, he was stronger after all. He hoped that the Archangel had managed to take his sister to the healers.

"Why do you resist, you know it's meaningless." Fenrir said to Aurion, "You Humans are nothing compared to us Fey. We are superior to you."

"I was young and foolish once. I followed orders without questioning the reasons. I did bad things without thinking about the consequences," Aurion said, "Your queen decided to forsaken our home for something our ancestors did, all the while she lived here, in luxury, without ever having to work to obtain something to eat to survive, to see another day."

Fenrir laughed and pkicked Aurion in his stomach, making him fall into his back and let go of his sword.

"Our queen is just, and is always thinking in the safety of her subject. What would a lowly vermin like you knows about what she had to suffer since the last great war!" Fenrir said, "Our rulers offered help, and were stabbed in the back! Our King died by the hand of the humans. I say that all of you deserve to pay for what you did in the past, with your own life!"

--Yevgeni -- Kilkis Seres: Left flank--

The blond shook his hair over his shoulder to fall down his back.  Draksis' analysis on the queen was perhaps entirely correct, leaving him no room to argue.  The queen may not consent to a truce, but that didn't mean it was impossible for one to exist.

"And how can you be so certain that Raiden will grant you what you wish, truly?  He too is fey, much like those whom you despise and are supposedly planning your demise.  How can you be so certain that he isn't merely exploiting all of you to conquer the kingdom for his own desires?  You're so trusting, which is curious since you seem to be such a smart lad."  He pointed his rapier in Draksis' direction.  "The wise should never trust."

The bomb did indeed catch him off-guard, though it alarmed his stead more.  It reared, causing him to slide off its back and fall to the ground and into the dirt.  In the blink of an eye Draksis was upon them.  Yev's horse was already on the move, though the slash to its hindquarters prompted it to flee in a gallop.  Now it was only the armored human and the elf, the way Draksis wanted it to be.

Yevgeni rose to his feet, brushing the dirt off his cloak as he did so.

"Impressive.  You already managed to dismount me, and the fight has only just begun.  Perhaps I underestimated the capabilities of you humans after all."  He snapped his fingers, and four beams of light surrounded them from each corner.  They began rotating before honing in around Draksis, exploding once encircling him.  Yev then moved forward, eyes flashing dangerously as he brought a horizontal slash toward Draksis with his rapier.

(I took the hit on the horse deliberately because of my delayed response.  I was well out of the three-day range, to which I really apologize for).

--Queen Shiva -- Kilkis Seres: Center Flank VS Mariel and Soren--

As Soren fought the ice centaur Shiva had already begun preparing her next string of attacks.  She was upon him in a moment, though gave pause before attacking as the former sentinel spoke.  Her eyes narrowed.  She detected the sincerity in his tone, and, had she not permitted her conviction to get the better of her, perhaps she would've considered what he had to say with a bit more concern.

"It may be desperation now," Shiva replied grimly, lips in a thin line.  "But what happens when their land is prosperous again?  In one-thousand years from now?  Would they 'change' again?  It's a risk, Soren, one that I am not willing to take.  You must understand that a monarch looks out for his or her people, not that of the entire world.  If I did, I wouldn't be a very good ruler to my people by sacrificing their lives for other nations, would I?"  She sliced the air before holding her sword at her side.  "You think you are fighting for justice, and while, yes, I see your point, do you not see mine?  Can you really refute what I am trying to do?"

Desperation could be heard within her voice, desperation to be understood.  Everyone thought her a monster, which affected her more than she cared to admit.  Were her father's ideals really that corrupt?  Could she save the peace now, even if she wanted to?

Her thoughts were interrupted by Mariel, who was a bit furious behind her.  The guardian angel leapt in between the two and emitted yet another sonic scream, this time completely unexpected by the ice queen.  It threw her in the air as she tumbled head over heels backward.  Slightly dazed, she rose to her feet, feeling as though she had spun in circles for quite some time and now suffered the aftermath.  She held her sword high, and ran toward Mariel in preparation to strike.

--Alderon Niles -- Mystras: Center Flank VS Eclaire--

A smirk crossed the king's face upon Eclaire blurting that she fought for the one she loved.  It didn't take long for the king to piece two and two together,  before he finally suggested aloud.  "It is Queen Shiva whom you love, I presume?  Is that why you fight me, to protect her?"

He wasn't quite sure what had sparked within the succubus, but she unleashed a flurry of attacks upon him at an entirely new level.  First it was the spears.  It was in that moment that Alderon wished that he still had Javelin, as he knew there was next to no chance that he could avoid all of these thrown assaults.  His movements were too slow, and the speed of her spears too quick.  One managed to pierce him in the shoulder, causing the king to grunt in pain.  The back of the spear had pierced clean through, blood pouring from the wound.  It wasn't as simple as removing an arrow, for the base was too thick.  He would have to leave it for the time being, though it did cause immeasurable pain, especially as he moved.

Her fury wasn't quite fully relinquished yet, however.  Alderon was left practically no time to recover when she unleashed her pure light energy from above.  He did his best to take cover underneath foliage, allowing the tree to take a fair amount of the intense light as opposed to himself, though he wasn't in the clear just yet.  Once the light show was over Alderon stepped out from behind the tree to face Eclaire, a trail of blood behind him from his shoulder, the spear still hanging out of it.  His lips were fixed in a straight line.  There was no turning back from an opponent in battle, and yet this woman's powers were out of his league.

"I knew you had it in you," he called out, in a strange tone of admiration.  "You could take down mighty kings if you so desire, so long as you don't lose sight of what is important to you.  Most importantly, never second-guess yourself, for the moment you do is the opening of your enemy.  Remember that."

He readied his sword, this time grasping it with only his right hand.  "Now, let us finish this, shall we?"

--Ren Mordecai -- Mystras: left flank VS Meksis--

When Meksis fed his body to Ren's jaws as opposed to his wing, Ren bit down with quite the amount of force before loosening his jaw and shaking his head violently, attempting to throw Meksis away forcibly.  With the jerk of Ren's head the dark energy managed to hit the roof of his mouth instead of down his throat, exploding upon impact and sending smoke to billow out of Ren's nostrils as the dragon let out a loud screech.  He sailed several feet toward the ground, the pain almost too intense to allow him to maintain this form.  Fighting against it, he let out a torrent of wind in Meksis' direction again, before soaring passed the enchanted suit of armor.  As he passed, he attempted to wrap his spiky tail around him.  If successful, Ren would've squeezed tightly and took to the ground, crashing his tail into a tree before flinging Meksis out into the open.

- Soren Monroe, Enforcer and Strategist of Mystras - Center Flank, V.S Queen Shiva w/ Mariel -

Queen Shiva's initial words were half-expected, as she hypothesized that the Humans would return to their malicious and violent ways against the Fey a thousand years from now, should they be allowed to. It was considered too great of a risk for her to take, despite her understanding of what her former Sentinel was telling her. Shiva's tone was grim, seemingly diligent and stoic befitting of a Monarch. Shiva's body language however, conveyed an anger, borne of desperation. It was then she called Soren out, understanding what he's saying, but asking him if he could really refute her, despite everything.

Shiva's words stung Soren, in fact far more than he had realized as he audibly and sharply gasped, now beginning to discern his predicament and his innermost feelings on this whole situation. In the face of Queen Shiva, deciding the fate of Humanity and Fey...Soren was afraid. Uncertain. Shaken. Despondent. "I...! ...I-I..." He barely uttered out his reply, Soren's breathing now becoming slightly rapid as he felt his head become heavy, feeling unable to look Shiva in the eyes, his mind frantically telling him to look elsewhere, alternating between the ground beneath them, his own sword, Mariel, both armies surrounding them and finally his free hand, now struggling to remain a clenched fist, faltering repeatedly. Both Shiva and Mariel had begun to attack however, leaving Soren oddly awestruck...and hyperventilating before he charged forward himself, sheathing his Claymore and yelling at the top of his lungs, his demonic bellow was followed up with Soren simply thrusting his arms between the Monarch and Guardian Angel and pushing them both away from each other.

"ENOUGH!!" Soren shouted at them both as he pushed them away, breathing heavily, his body moving with his deep and rapid inhales and exhales...the former Sentinel then turned to Shiva, his heart sinking as he made eye contact again. "You...so, you...truly believe that...there is no chance? No chance at all for the Human Race? Not even an inkling of such...?!" Soren's voice was shaking, as was his body, his feelings a large and confused mix, with two emotions standing out among the rest: Rage and Despair. Soren let out a brief roar of frustration and anguish as he threw his arms to his sides aggressively before speaking once more. "I've been drifting between two sides ever since Raiden's Infiltrator entered the Isopolis Shrine! Never sure of myself or where I stood in this world!" Soren ranted angrily, frantically gesturing at himself, Shiva and Raiden's Army. "Doubt festered in my heart since I entered his Villa, jumping at the opportunity the first chance I had and suffering for it! ...I thought, before the war started, I was firmly on Raiden's Side...yet here I am now!! On this battlefield! Facing you! Queen Shiva de la Alexandria, Ruler of Kilkis Seres, my former Commander and a person I genuinely hold...a high level of respect for..." Soren's tone shifted from maddened aggression to one more somber and miserable.

"And the only way that's presented to me, to bring a new lease in life to a race condemned to misery, a depression and a future only yielding a slow, painful death as a whole...is to kill you?! And my decision on to commit to this action...is the presence and will...of an escaped convict, Ren Mordecai, his escape being my fault for deserting my post! I've been such a fool! The Fool of the Ages!!" Soren Monroe roared his new title to the skies, taking a moment to let his mistakes sit into his soul before lowering his extended arms and turning to properly face Shiva, his head looking down to the dirt, his face one of contemplation. "I was so sure of myself. Now, standing here, I realize...to kill you? I cannot. I will not. It is not the way. Even in our previous talks about Humans...I've always, respected you too much to go against you, even partially...and now, I commit to this once again." Soren then looked straight ahead to Shiva, taking a few steps towards her. "You, are my Queen. And I, your Sentinel." He then looked to his side, scoffing in resignation as he remembered. "Or...if you prefer..." Soren then took a knee in front of Shiva, his head down and eyes closed.

"...your subject of execution...for my crimes of desertion...and high treason...I accept my fate if you deem it so...your majesty."

- Meksis, the Defiled, Armour of Darkness - Kilkis Right/Mystras Left Flank, V.S Black Dragon Ren -

The Black Dragon did not endure the full brunt of Meksis's torrent of Darkness, but nonetheless the bestial form of Ren Mordecai was wounded and in agony, as such he was desperate, shaking Meksis from his jaw and soaring to the skies after another torrent of Wind, the Dark Armour seeing that his tail was making a move to wrap around him. Very sure of what he was going to do and knowing Ren was weakening, Meksis simply relaxed, allowing the tail to wrap around him. Immediately, he would feel the pressure of the tail squeezing him tightly along with the whiplash of the Dragon taking to the ground and the impact of his body crashing into a tree.

A sneer was upon Meksis as he then latched onto Ren's tail, rather than allow himself to be tossed away into the open, his sharp gauntlets digging into his flesh as he made a slow, steady climb up the appendage, climbing until he was sure of where he wanted to attack. At the base of Ren's tail, Meksis charged up Dark Energy in his right hand and released it from Ren, only to unleash this as a concentrated Beam of Dark Energy, a Cutting Beam. The motions he made with his arm and wrist made clear his intent to cut off the Black Dragon's Tail, guiding his aim so it would be true, wanting to make Ren suffer as much as possible.

- Nergal, Remnant of Meksis, the Dormant and Hollow Wind - Kilkis Healer Backline, V.S Alastor, w/ Rhaedyn -

The power of Nergal's attack subsided, a dust cloud around them both but it was quickly settling. Initially, Nergal was certain he had at least done a number on Alastor, feeling the Storm Lord's power seem to diminish...that was, until he saw the kneeling lord rise to his feet, a reptilian eye now visible. All the Remnant could feel was an overwhelming sense of dread, which lead into shock as Alastor teleported in front of him, his expression very telling of his fear. Fear, like he had not felt for thousands of years. The resulting assailing of Nergal battered and beat the man badly, knocked into the air, barraged with lightning fast slashes utilizing a new energy and then sent straight into an intimate relationship with the ground, face first into the dirt, his body and bones rattled and his foundations compromised.

As Nergal attempted to pick himself up, he met eyes with Alastor, who had teleported 10 meters away from him and was beginning an incantation. The Remnant was on one knee as he saw this, only just standing on both legs before a glyph formed around him. A merciless prelude to a Gravity Spike that suppressed Nergal, almost forcing him to fall again, sheer force of will was keeping him buckling, but standing. The high gravity was flattening, suffocating, yet only the preparation, as Alastor conjured a massive, 60 meter tall column of glyphs and energy, calling "INDIGNATION" as this immense power was manifesting...leading into a bright flash. Time felt slowed to Nergal for he had only just looked up to see it approach and with it...his end.

...or so he thought.

Rhaedyn Thane conjured a powerful barrier, a wall of runes and he called for Nergal, warning him that this move spelled death for him and nothing less. Roaring at the top of his lungs, Nergal mustered up whatever speed and energy he could and made a desperate, mad dash towards Rhaedyn and his protection. Never had Nergal feared for his life, nor much of anything...Alastor had granted him this gift, he would not allow him to take it away from him this day...he just needed to make it to the Iron Lord's safety.

{Mariel: Mystras Rebellion; Center Flank - w/ Soren VS Shiva}

Mariel took a moment as Shiva recovered from the scream to breath some healing magic on her frozen arm, trying to get some feeling back in it. As she did so, she sent the mental command to activate the enchantment on Heaven's Flame, though it didn't catch. Still, she was prepared with Bright Guard to take the Queen head on when Soren stepped in. The Guardian Angel gritted her teeth in fury as the weakling abounded his principles to lick Shiva's boots. Light gathered around Mariel as her fury grew with every word Soren said. Heaven's Flame sputtered a few time as its magic worked against the cold.

"Beg for mercy on your own time, demon." Mariel growled as her sword caught fire once again and she flexed some frost off her right arm and wing. "My business with your queen is long over due."

With a powerful leap, the Guardian Angel landed beside Soren, batting him away with a combination of the force of her landing and the extension of her wings. Not pausing g a moment, she surged forward towards Shiva, unleashing a flurry of blows with both swords against the Queen. She channeled the Light energy she had built up through herself, increasing her speed. Her right arm, holding Heaven's Flame, was still numb, causing its strikes to come a little slower and didn't have full strength behind them.

- Front Flank - Arthur (Side: Rebellion of Mystras) vs Morana (Side: Kilkis Seres) & Alex vs Wendigo Boss -

"Does it hurt?" Morana asked, tilting her head slightly. Arthur didn't even bother answering back, simply taking a cautious step forward, using his sword as guide. "The face is one of the most delicate parts of the body. It has the biggest range of muscle structure, as well. It is what represents us. It's like a canvas of who we are...I'm sorry that I had to rip it to pieces. Though, you should probably drop down and play dead if you want to live through this." Morana hummed, staring as Arthur continued to step forward. He chuckled, shaking his head. "Nah." Arthur hissed. "This...is war. We have to do what we have to do in order to survive. To fight for our side and ideals and goals. So I guess, I have to praise you in landing such a bad hit on me. But I will have to refuse your offer on giving up." Arthur used his scarf to wipe the blood off once more, by this point used to the burning pain of live skin facing against fabric. Only then, he forced his eyes open. The white of his eyes dyed red with blood, the blue color of his iris standing out with a fighting gleam. "I am a proud knight of the kingdom of Sodon, and I will fight to the death in the name of protecting my kingdom and world." Morana groaned, this time sounding rather annoyed. She was getting tired of this heroic little soldier. "I'm going to turn you into dust, and I'll start with your head." Morana hissed, raising her claws. Though it would be difficult...she needed to get her hands on exposed skin for that. Pretty hard on a knight clad in armor. Darn it. Morana rushed at Arthur, bearing her claws at him. Arthur rushed right after, shield and sword raised. Arthur used his shield to block Morana, who in turn used the force of the shield to push herself off from it and jump over Arthur, landing behind him before instantly clawing at him once more. Arthur turned on his heels, blocking with his sword as she kicked at Morana, forcing her to jump back. Arthur dashed forward, swinging his sword at Morana as she dodged the hits the best she could. She saw an opening, dashing straight at Arthur. Arthur blocked with a shield, but at the very last second, parried the shield across, smacking Morana's claws away as she fell right in. Arthur pulled his head back before throwing himself forward, headbutting Morana as their two foreheads collided with all the force Arthur could muster. Both of them screamed out in pain, Arthur using the chance to slash Morana across, finally landing a hit on the Wendigo Fey, before kicking her right on the stomach. Morana fell back, rolling back onto her feet as she held her stomach, the sword having slashed through her dress and skin, blood seeping out. Her head pounded in pain, causing her to feel nauseated as she glared up at Arthur. Arthur stepped forward, rushing at Morana without any waiting as he slammed his sword down at her. Morana rolled out of the way, only to be encountered, a relentless Arthur charging once more, slashing the sword upwards towards her, catching a single cut on Morana's arm as she crawled back. She dashed forward, gripping Arthur's sword hand with one claw as she pushed against the shield with her other arm, pushing him. The two of them struggled, pushing each other, trying to overpower the other. Morana pressed her claw tightly against Arthur's hand, watching as Arthur never once flinched as she dug her claws into the skin of his hands. The two pushed each other, before Arthur suddenly dropped his shield, allowing him to free his hand before punching Morana across the face. He didn't stop, quickly grabbing Morana's neck and punching her again, sending her falling down with a bloody nose. "Holy crap!" Morana hissed, holding her nose as she crawled back. Arthur quickly picked up his shield again, though this time he didn't got into his fighting stance. Instead he stood there, staring at Morana with a tired glare. "We're just trying to survive..." Arthur muttered, holding himself from crying. Any tears would hurt like a bitch on these scratches. "What is so wrong for wanting to be alive?"
