DChiuch 5,773 Posted September 17, 2014 Following on from Dengeki Online's revealing review last week, Famitsu have posted a review for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, which releases in Japan on October 2, 2014. In this review, it is revealed that the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Secret Movie "may hint to Kingdom Hearts III", and that there are contents related to the browser game Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]. This portion of the review can be read in full below, thanks to KH13 translator SkyKeybladeHero: Re:coded, which explains the mission that was entrusted to Sora after the events of Kingdom Hearts II, had its Text based story-telling made into Voiced Scenes, just like Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMIX’s 358/2 Days. We could enjoy it very much (and now even the battles are included in the scenes). New scenes were also added, there are contents related to the Browse Game χ [chi], and we were even able to confirm a Secret Movie which may hint to Kingdom Hearts III. It is very nice of them (Square Enix) to do this, but it is also unfair to add such teasing material while the main games are already teasing us enough to know what will happen next. Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted September 17, 2014 Huh, I heard a rumor/report from a Japanese site that the secret movie may have had something to do with Birth by Sleep Vol 2. I'm considering it a rumor though because I heard it from word of mouth from my friend, neither of us can find the site in question again, and there doesn't seem to be any similar reports anywhere else. Still, this just makes the possibility an unknown again, which I'm okay with, because there's now an equal chance of it either happening or not happening. And with this news about the possibility of the scene being related to III, it just makes everything more unknown for me, which makes the prospect of what the new scene may hold even more exciting! Again, they said that it may have something hinting towards III, they didn't outright confirm it. Typically, whenever someone from Square says that something MIGHT happen, typically it does end up happening. The ReMIXes used to be just a vague possibility for the future, but now they are a fully fledged fact. So there does tend to be a 85-90% occurrence of whatever they hint at or tease being exactly what we are getting. A similar observation can be made whenever they say that there is nothing to talk about or no plans currently exist for something, but those are different issues altogether. Anyway, I'm not here to advocate some rumor I heard about, I'm just saying that there are still many possibilities about what we may be getting. For all I know, it might tease both III and Vol. 2, who knows? Some content related to X would be interesting though, especially since for the time being they don't plan on making it "available" to the rest of us who don't speak, read, or understand Japanese. I read it as "shi" almost everywhere else, but the translation on Everglow's walkthrough reads it as "thy" or "thi". I can understand if it's just a matter of translation transition, as Japan lacks particular sounds that we use in our language all the time, but I'm not quite sure if "thi" is one of them, so I'd like to know how I should refer to him/her/it/them/they/whatever!
