The Story So Far...

With the Keyblade War between The VII Lights and The XIII Darknesses beginning, a call went out for heroes to come together to stave off other dark forces who would taking advantage of the chaos. Led by former Organization XIII members Ienzo (Zexion), Aeleus (Lexaeus), Dilan (Xaldin), and Even (Vexen), these "Vanguards" have dealt with Xehanort's minions, pushed back an invasion from another reality, and brought several lost members of the VII Lights back. Now, a new threat calling itself the Decolor has launched simultaneous attacks against the major worlds with Encom Programs, looking to wipe out all Wielders of The Keyblade.

With the Lights and the Vanguard pinned in Twilight Town and Disney Castle, they will need to rally together and gain new recruits in order to push back the Decolor and the other threats, both new and old, that still lurk in the shadows.

Do you stand with them?

 

~Rules~

1) Let's keep this rp in the PG13 range.

2) No Godmodding, it be no fun.

3) If you want to keep certain aspects of your character to be secret from other players, PM me details.

4) Thou shalt not kill another player's character, unless that player grants thee permission.

5) Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy and Disney characters are fine, but I will need to consult with you on them.

6) There is NO...rule 6.

7) To show that you read the rules (or at least skimmed them to find this), please put "Shadow War" after your character sheet.

8) Decolor characters are possible by request, so PM me if you want to put a stop to the dangerous Keyblade Wielders.

9) Anything else in the general KH13 rp rules I've forgotten.

Since he is the eldest, he thinks HE deserves the right to be King. However, he needs a strong heart, and the only way he sees he can find a new one and get what he rightfully deserves is to side with Xehanort and help him gain control of Kingdom Hearts.

Personality: Aggressive, independent, witty, and extremely short-tempered. Basically, the opposite of Mickey.

Appearance: Long deep red hair, held up in two long ponytails. Aggressive red eyes, small features, constant frown. 5'3" 113 lbs. Lean build, toned muscles. Wears leggings with iron greaves, along with a tank top. Over top of that, she wears a simple light brown tunic, and wears sleeves unattached from the shirt. Uses a sheath on her lower back.

Alignment: Annoying Good

Starting Location: Just outside Disney Castle, held up by a host of Decolor

Bio: A wanderer from a long destroyed world. She's been travelling for six years now, not staying at a single world too long, surviving only on her wits and skills. She has grown adept at sword-fighting by combining the techniques of each world, and mishmashing them all into a single style. On a visit to Twilight Town, she encountered the advertisement for the Vanguard. She joined them for a short time, but ended up becoming a commando at Disney Castle, defending it from various invaders.

Personality: Having been a long time since she's had to care for anyone but herself, Severa has become rude and constantly condescending. She is always sarcastic and sassy to anybody she has ever interacted with. But she's not all bad. Behind her difficult demeanor is a girl who will defend her friends and beliefs from any who would dare attack them. She has a fiery passion, which definitely makes her rather annoying to deal with, on the battlefield or off.

Weapons: A standard steel straight sword. Is extremely skilled with it, using an unpredictable style. Also has become adept with magical techniques, with fire magic at the forefront.

Starting Location: Currently on the ground outside of Twilight Mansion.
Bio: A young Keyblade Master from the Realm of Darkness who sought a way to bring balance to the worlds. For many years Celas wandered the Realm of Darkness in search for a way to free Kingdom Hearts until one day she found a note to join the Vanguard. On her journey through Castle Oblivion she meet Elenar, Larxene's somebody, with who she developed a friendship. The Dark Warrior was one of few who helped to save Aqua and Ansem The Wise from the Realm of Darkness, but is also the reason that the Void Witch from an alternate dimension managed to obtain a Keyblade. She is currently struggling to regain her strength and take her friend Elenar to a safe place from Twilight Mansion.
Personality: Carefree, easy going, trustworthy, honest (although she tends to lie about her well being), caring.

Bio: Neena had heard tales of the keyblade, a tool used to secure light in all the worlds since she was a young girl. She used to love the fairy tales, of the seven lights, those who helped destroy darkness, and restore balance to all. Neena was only 10 years old when her world fell victim to darkness. The world was a small one, host to only a small village. She awoke in a different world, and quickly realized, that her village had fallen victim to the darkness. She cried, lost and alone. She had nothing left to turn to. Then she thought about the tales of the keyblade. The tool that secured the light. Why hadn't the keyblade saved them? It dawned on her. It all a lie. A vicious lie. The keyblade wasn't a weapon for the saving of the light. It was only a manifestation of chaos and destruction, meant to end and destroy. She grew up believing that. She trained herself, hard. She focused on her rage and anger. Her sword became an extension of herself, and her bow a weapon of her will. Neena trained so deliberately, growing in skill to the point that she was undefeatable by anybody she encountered. Her light and dark abilities manifested around this time, giving her even more weapons to destroy the keyblade, and all of it's falsehoods. When Neena heard about the formation of the Decolor, a group of the same goal as her, she forced herself into the inner circle. Now she is helping lead the assault against Disney Castle.

Personality: Hateful, angry. Overly sarcastic and bitter. Passionate. Neena-ish.

Weapon: A black steel ninjato, and a darkwood bow.

Abilities: Light and dark manipulation, extraordinary acrobatic skill, unparalleled archer and swordstress. Has been known to channel light or dark through her body to increase power.

Bio: Has lived in Twilight town for his whole life. He lived with his parents and a younger brother named Joe. He learned that he could wield a keyblade a year earlier, when he and his friends sat on the clock tower and he fell, the keyblade came to him and he stabbed it into the ground to stop him from dying. He has been training with it ever since, and since TT is a base of operations for the forces of light, he has heard of Xehanort's plan to rule the worlds and has decided to put his power to the test and help protect the worlds.
Personality: Is calm and collected in normal circumstances. But during battle, he will try his hardest to win, and will protect his friends no matter what.
Weapons: He wields the Star Seeker keyblade.

Alignment: (Good, Neutral, Evil) On basis of technicality, good.
Starting Location: Destiny Islands
Bio: With the Guardians holed up in Disney Castle and Nocturnal Sentinel "Sacra" Zero-Seven no where to be found, contingency plans were activated as Ghost now had to assume emergency responsibilities of a Sentinel. An Enforcer whose main purpose was to keep the Guardians in line and strike down those who disobeyed their oaths, Ghost was able to live a relatively normal life on the world of Twilight Town until she was called to find Sacra. She decided to visit the Destiny Islands, hoping to find the girl ready to step in should the worst happen to the Guardians.

Personality: Calm, cool, and calculating, she isn't really much for first impressions. However, after breaking the ice, she warms up and shows her true colors: a kind hearted girl who resents her duties of having to kill off others when told and only wishes for the day where her skills and duties are no longer needed. She is a reserved girl, not really wanting to tout her abilities and skills, but not afraid to show it when needed.

Weapons: A jet black katana. She also wields a keyblade: The Adjudicator

Appearance: A well built man wearing a tan trenchcoat with obvious armor underneath. He has short jet black hair, deep green eyes, and pale skin. The only thing that looks missing from his outfit would be a fedora, but the armor underneath kinda ruins it. His squadmates have similar outfits, the only difference being the color of the coat and armor [Kiwi always had a better taste in fashion than his peers, however... So he's the better dressed looking one out of the entire squad. Whether or not everyone else was jealous, he couldn't care less.]

Starting Location: Disney Castle
Bio: Previously, in Vanguard! Disney Castle was under attack by beings of Darkness! In response to the crisis, a desperate call was sent out to all available Guardians! Officially called the "Prime Directive" [affectionately called FUBAR by his squadmates], 'Shadowhawk' along with his lifelong friends, Leader 'Nightsparrow', Commando 'Raven', and Buttmonkey 'Kiwi', immediately responded to the call and arrived at the castle to even the overwhelming odds! It was then where he was reunited with his son, a boy renamed Nocturne and a current generation Guardian! Their happy reunion was short lived however, as another wave of darkness attacked! As he watched his son run out to the front lines, Shadowhawk could only play a defensive role as he stood vigilantly on one of the castle turrets and gave him support! As the battle raged on, new enemies arrived and now has everyone he holds dear hostage! What will the former Guardian do? Will he be able to escape this standoff alive? Stay tuned and find out!

Personality:

Shadowhawk in particular is level-headed and for the most part uncomplicated. However, his time with Kiwi has given him a sense of humor and indulges in it regardless of the situation.

Nightsparrow is usually calm, cool, and mostly collected, but also prone to outbursts of randomness if the golden opportunity arises.

Raven, despite his nickname, has a feminine side that his friends find endearing and heartwarming. Gentle, nice, and always looking out for his friends, he serves as the emotional tie of the group when things get serious.

Kiwi was given the title 'buttmonkey' for a reason. Always finding an excuse to make his friends laugh, he's lighthearted and friendly, but can also come off as snarky to those who don't understand his humor. It doesn't make him any less lethal compared to his friends, however...

Weapons: All of his squadmates, including him, carry Arrow-rifles, but they all also possess their own keyblades.
