Kingdom Hearts: Vanguard (Sign-Ups and Discussion)

(Wasn't thinking I was gonna run a RP for awhile, but here it goes.)

 

Vanguard: 1;the troops moving at the head of an army, 2; the forefront of an action or movement

 

As the battle for the worlds against Master Xehanort and his Organization draws closer, the Forces of Light prepare. But will there be enough time? While the Organization has yet to make a move, other dark forces have, the most prominent being the Witch Maleficent. Her forces hound Disney Castle and worlds that boarder the Darkness. As darkness seems to be creeping in everywhere, a call has been sent out. Posters in secret places, letters left for the adventurous and cryptic voices from behind. All saying the same thing:

A place, the abandoned mansion in Twilight Town.

A time that draws near.

And a promise for those who which to prevent a disaster that will spell doom for all. That they are not alone.

The time to assemble in the mansion is here. Will you answer the call?

 

Rules:

Let's keep this rp in the PG13 range.

No Godmodding, it be no fun.

If you have read the rules (as you should), then post "To Glory" at the end of your post.

If you want to keep certain aspects of your character to be secret from other players, PM me details.

Thou shalt not kill another player's character, unless that player grants thee permission.

Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy and Disney characters are fine, just not the Lights.

Anything else in the general KH13 rp rules I've forgotten.

Name: Akito Naizaka (Mostly the OC Sikota used in the first RP I was in with him as far as I know)

Appearance: Adam from RWBY, but his mask is black and the red lines are gold, his hair is pallet-flipped to black-topped with red underneath. His coat also has to outside red lines swapped for gold.
Alignment: Light
Bio: Growing tired of his family, and them growing tired of him, he had dealt with all the gangs terrorizing his neighborhood and craved some more action, he desided to leave home and join in this action
Personality: A little arrogent and cocky. Kind, but not talkative unless he feels it benefits him.
Weapons: He uses a long-bladed katana with a kunai attached to a retractile chain, and a buster-sword that doubles as a retracted shield.

Personality: Carefree and aloof, serious in combat but always finds the good in people.

Bio: Sylar is an.... interesting character. After living a simple childhood, he turned to the darkness for power. Nothing sinister, just looking for power to supply his mercenary lifestyle. He has managed to keep the darkness from taking over his person, probably because of his already dark personality. Seeing the poster, he decided to come and have some fun, maybe grab some munny.

Personality: Sylar is annoyingly sarcastic, and always ready for a quick retort or fight. He likes to insult and make fun of his opponents, and enjoys watching destruction.

He does have a noble side to him though, which reveals itself after or during a tragedy or something else equally serious.

Weapons/Abilities: He wields two short swords of obsidian, and uses darkness to enhance his abilities at any time. Such as increasng his speed, or strength, but cannot use dark magic.

Name: Zion de Wynter

Oriana's form. Mostly noncombatant.

Alignment: Light

Bio: Born in Twilight Town, Zion was always different. This was because she had two hearts, one of pure light, and one of pure darkness. But as she traveled the gummiverse, she encountered many people, from her guardian Kelsi of the Snow to Xion, her girlfriend.

It was these connections, these experiences as she traveled and trained with her Keyblade, that finally brought Sione, her heart of Darkness, to sacrifice herself in a climatic battle with a cookie cutter supervillain. But instead of forever losing Sione, who became like a sister, Zion gained something more powerful; a second heart of light. For Sione's sacrifice cleansed the darkness from the heart, the pure darkness driven away by dawn.

Sione, now of Light and taking the name of Oriana, has retreated from view, content with living her life as a silent observer to the now Keyblade Master, Zion.

Personality: Zion is a sweet, bubbly girl who loves to make friends and dislikes people who hurt others. She is very protective of her friends and family, and is a powerful combatant to back it up, Sione (Now Oriana) was the complete opposite of Zion, but now she's more calm and collected. Rarely speaking, Oriana is somewhat deadpan, not showing much emotion, but can and will be extremely emotional when the time comes.

Weapons: Forward Unto Dawn (Oathkeeper's Dawn and Oathkeeper's Dusk combined); Blazing Midday and Receding Midnight. She controls Blazing Midday and Receding Midnight telekinetically, and wields Forward Unto Dawn as such randomly. She is a powerful wielder in her own right and is not to be trifled with. Her weakness, really, is Xion, the girl she loves.

 

Oriana's weapon is called the Mirror of Dawn; it is her only weapons. It is a shield of energy that can block most attacks and is very taxing on Oriana to use.

Age: 16

Appearance: Instead of her cloak, she wears a light purplish-pink tanktop with a jean skirt and sneakers. Coutesy of Zion's makeover.

Alignment: Light.

Bio: We kinda know this already, but let's fill in the recetns.

 

After Sora's heart executed it's -1 Henderson, Xion was brought back to life in spectacular fashion; by landing right on top of Zion de Wynter.

Now, not one to think that was random, Zion befriended and, like the lovable idiot she can be, fell in love with the raven haired girl. Which ended up with them all going on their epic adventure where Sione finally became Oriana and Zion finally managed to kiss Xion.

 

But as the two settled back into their life at Twilight Town...things began to change.

And it seemed Zion and Xion were again called to the Light.

Personality: Somewhat introverted, but able to befriend some people. Was easily manipulated but has grown stronger in heart and mind since meeting Zion. Is somewhat the dom of the pair, having to continually get Zion to calm down despite Zion being stronger with the Keyblade then her.

Weapons: Her Kingdom Key transformed into the Two Become One during their epic adventure.

Characters can be neutral. Also, just because someone is aligned with Darkness doesn't mean they don't fight against other people of the dark.

Bio: Taken up at a young age by Yen Sid, Zero-Four became a Nocturnal Guardian of Heart because of his strong sense of dedication. Remaining faithful to his duties of being a Nocturnal Guardian, "Cody" knows nothing else about life when no clear objective or mission has been assigned to him. Deployed to Kairi at the age of 15, he would have led a tragically lonely and unappreciated life had the Darkness not decided to intervene in the peaceful world of Destiny Islands. Stepping out of the shadows to be a friend in her time of need, his time with her had him questioning the creed that he so dutifully follows and the warm emotions that he had only begun to feel but what many had taken for granted. Much to her dismay, he still places his duties before his own personal wants and needs and will seek any excuse to remain on his assigned mission. After a fateful stormy night and a break of discipline, Kairi talked him in and he was finally able to open his heart and accept as well as cherish the more beautiful side and emotions of life, including peace, love and sanctuary.

 

When everything went back to normal, he went back to what he knew what to do, and hasn't waiver from the orders since.

 

Personality: Focused, disciplined, talks to himself a lot, introverted, rather clueless about the concepts of love, but knows a little

Bio: Taken up at a young age by Yen Sid, Luna became a Nocturnal Guardian of Heart because of her strong sense of wanting to help others. Faithful to her duties yet prone to throwing it away if someone is in dire need of help of any sort, she developed normally during her training and was noted for her powerful healing capabilities. Deployed to Princess Jasmine at the age of 15, she quickly became friends with Princess Jasmine and Aladdin when she mistaken for a lost and troubled teenager when Jasmine decided to take a nighttime walk. After explaining to them that she isn't what they may be thinking and demonstrating a little of her abilities, they both quickly accepted her and became very close friends as well as a makeshift advisor to the Princess.

Ever since Sora stepped in to resolve the world's troubles, she took off in search of Zero-Four "Cody", for whom she has feelings for. She found him when visiting Twilight Town, who was standing on top of the Clock Tower, keeping a vigilant watch over Kairi while she went about her daily life. She hasn't left his side ever since and has yet to tell him of her feelings.

Personality: Quiet, soft spoken, innocent, a little insecure, yet incredibly protective, focused and a force to be reckoned with if provoked.

Weapons: Keyblade: Paladin's Respite.

Bio: Because Oswald lacks a strong heart, he has always been incredibly jealous of those who own one, especially his younger brother, Mickey. However, he needs a strong heart, and the only way he sees he can find a new one and get what he rightfully deserves is to side with Xehanort and help him gain control of Kingdom Hearts.

Personality: Aggressive, independent, witty, and extremely short-tempered. Basically, the opposite of Mickey.
