I wouldn't worry about new fans, they'd have to pretty dense to not realize that the story is incomplete by the time they finish 2.5 with out a preview to tell them other wise. 

 

Eh, I'd say it's about 50/50. I'm not starved for KH3 the way some fans are so not having a preview wouldn't bother me. 2.5 will probably come out next year and it's expected that KH3 will be out around 2015-2016 so it's a possibility, but over all I'd rather them not stick one in unless they're absolutely sure it'll be out soon after they start promoting it. Having a preview will create hype but that's not always a good thing, not if it's too soon. When ever KH3 gets announced I don't think there'll be the monstrous gap between that and its release like with Versus but their best bet is to start promoting it post beginning development.

It's possible, but I imagine that FFVS13 comes out this year and then there's a KH3 trailer only a few months later.
