KH3D Joshua and Beat in Kingdom Hearts 3D, Weekly Shōnen Jump article

Recommended Posts

Update: Oishii from KH13 has translated the scan. In the screenshot, Beat is saying "This time I will protect Rhyme." The text next to the screenshot says "Neku's two companions want to return to their original world."

Scans of the January 2, 2012 issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine are starting to appear online, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance appears with an article. The article appears to contain the same information on the new world, "Country of the Musketeers", and also some additional information. Below, you can see both Joshua and Beat from The World Ends With You appearing in Traverse Town. Please click to see the image larger.

So they'll be together? Well, at least in that scene.

OISHII TRANSLATING POWERS ACTIVATE!

I'm not a power ranger you know.

"This time I will protect Rhyme."

Text to the right: "Neku's two companions want to return to their original world."

(I don't remember Joshua's hair being so fluffy xD But I'm excited. I would really like to see how his mannerisms would look animated)

Never played TWEWY but i do know most of these characters. This game just keeps getting more and more enteresting as more knows comes in. Looking forward to seeing the new trailer and demo. From what the news tell us, the trailer will possibly show us more about The Three Musketeeers world, and more of the TWEWY characters. Hopefully, Shiki will be shown in either the trailer or the demo.

EEP! Sorry to sound like Shiki if the Prince ever blogged about her, but EEP!

"I'll protect Rhyme this time?" So this is taking place after TWEWY? Sounds like it. Especially since the characters want to return to their own world.

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! A TWEWY sequel is seeming more and more likely. Maybe this is setting it up.

And what's Beat doing with "the prissy kid" (as Beat calls him)? I must know! Oh my gosh, so epic!

Why would there be another reaper's game?(If this IS after TWEWY)

If that's true, though, we might be seeing Shiki's true form!

I was thinking the exact same thing. Yes! Will we finally see her face?

And if it is RG Shiki, do you think there's a chance Eri's in the game? That might be interesting. Though it probably won't happen. Sad.

I always imagined everyone became friends with Eri (because of Shiki) after the game. I'd like to know more about her and see her more.

Now that I think about it.....I wonder if the trailer they'll be showing at Jump Festa will give us any little peeks after the Exam, with all this hype on the new worlds...I completly forgot that the Master Exams are only for part of this game. o-o;;;;

Yeah, but he could also be talking about

Rhyme trying to protect Beat from the car and dying in the process.

In that sense, he may just be referring to how he couldn't protect her before. However, I have no qualms against a TWEWY sequel ^^

Hmm... I didn't think about that. You could be right. But the way it's phrased has me thinking that's not what he means. I don't know why.

Wait. Which time are you talking about? When Beat was hurt angry of his parents and Rhyme came after him (in which she got hit by a car on the way there, and Beat died with her in trying to save her), or the Shark Noise fiasco?

Because if I remember correctly, Beat tried to save Rhyme from the car, and Rhyme remembering that in the moment (there's even a flashback) tries to save him from the Noise.

I could be wrong, but that's how I remember it. Hmm...
