Vanitas 127 Posted July 22, 2011 So LoD is CO right? So how did Sora and friends walk to a different world?

Coffeemug 1 Posted July 22, 2011 i've seen a topic like this a while ago. my conclution is that LoD/CO was consumed by darkness so sora donald and goofy walked through the realm of darkness (where they closed the door/fought ansem and world of chaos) to a grassy feild (the other remnants of land of departure) and to the castle. naturally. since they saved the worlds maybe they speedwalked and got there before it was a world again
Vanitas 127 Posted July 22, 2011 ^Werent Riku and Mickey on the dark side? So sora and friends were on the light side.

keystrike 145 Posted July 25, 2011 I made a thread about the crossroads a while ago and it still I still hold to those beliefs now. The crossroads connect the different realms so you can quite physically walk from the realm of light to the realm of between to the realm of darkness. (the thread: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/9098-the-realm-between/page__fromsearch__1 ). As for how Land of Departure ended up their, maybe it had to do with it being such an ancient world and as a part of the "trick" so there wouldn't be much light or darkness to abuse. replika13 455 Posted July 25, 2011 that grassy field... maybe it was some kinda connecting place between four realms...

I wasn't thnking of this, but this is probably it. Basically, when they fought Ansem, they weren't in the realm of darkness; they were in a world created from the remnants of destroyed worlds. Close to the RoD, but not quite. When The DTD was sealed, the worlds went back to the way they were and most people went back to their worlds in the realm of light, but Donald, Goofy and Sora stayed behind to look for the King and Riku and so ended up somewhere between the light and darkness, which is where Castle Oblivion resides. Because it's an in-between worlds closer to the darkness, it makes sense that they ended up there. Also, I think they said somewhere that Namine had led them to the castle itself, but I'm not sure. And of course, because Riku's heart resonates with Sora, and CO is a world between the light and thedarkness, Riku was able to get there too.

I was just watching the opening to BBS and saw that those roads were there! At the part where Terra, Aqua and Ven are holding their charms and the light goes forward from them, it shows that the three of them are standing at those crossroads. So it probably was a part of the Land of Departure. I just had to share that.

It could just be representative as well lol. But Sora and CO probably ended up there because like I said it was an in-between world.

Now that you mention it, that does make more sense. Looking at it now, it certainly doesn't look like those crossroads my bad.

Neku Sakuraba 88 Posted February 8, 2012 I was actually thinking, when they lost Pluto that night, when Marluxia appeared.... he left out a dark corrider somewhere along the way.... This is a tricky question!
Gambler'sApprentice 131 Posted August 18, 2012 (edited) The Keyblade is a Deus ex Machina Namine is messing with Sora's heart and Ventus's heart is in Sora and his body in CO, and Hearts can solve any problem in this series If Sora was in the realm of light, but still so close to the realm of darkness that puts him pretty close to the middle, which is exactly where LoD/CO was/is. With the Organization trying to lead him there I don't think a little thing like distance would stop them.
