keystrike 145 Posted October 30, 2010 To start off I would like to say something about the crossroads and their connection to the realm between because this is the center-piece of this theory: The cross roads lie within the realm of between and connect to The four realms which are darkness, between, light, and nothing. This is a diagram I made showing how I think the cross roads work: http://img155.imageshack.us/i/crossroadsg.jpg/ Regarding some of the details- the general outline was very very general if you haven't figured that out already. Reasons why each world/place is on that road: Castle Oblivion was on the road to nothing because it is a world that "towers the limits of light and dark." The floors of castle oblivion represent the light and darkness of memories. The dark abyss is there because End of The World was accessed from the realm of light. Also by default. The dark margin is explained by Nomura in directors secret report XIII to be the boundary of between and darkness. Between by default. Still does it connect to any worlds? Perhaps the area Riku was sleeping in at the beginning of com. *end reasons why each world/place...* The road to light and the road to darkness should be switched in this pic along with where it ends up. The door to darkness only lets darkness pass through and the door to light only lets light pass through. Other than this the realm between is very strange in the way that worlds are unstable, two between worlds become one, they sometimes connect to the cross roads, and mysterious tower is a loophole world among other strange occurrences. For most of these things the only explanation I have is the nature of the between realm is like this. It is one which has many 'connections' from realm to realm, and from worlds to worlds or from interworld areas (Twilight Town and Yen Sid's tower could be seen as one or two worlds) . Some of these connections are made possible due to the dark corridors and strange dimension corridors. But is it possible to say that the realm between is one big inter-dimensional world (read this theory on the dimensions:http://kh13.com/mybb/showthread.php?tid=8939&pid=225485#pid225485[/url=] -summary- there is a light/darkness dimension. request: what is the strange dimension corridor?). In the big picture it seems there is harmony and in the small picture there are many more disturbances such as dark corridors. It might be possible that the harmony that we perceive is merely due to the immense size such as if on a computer every other pixel is blue but normally they are yellow so the end result is a seemingly harmonious green - if that makes any sense. On another note, the crossroads in the keyblade graveyard could symbolize the meeting of denizens of the different realms. Most of the information I got comes from this: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/935702-kingdom-hearts-ii-final-mix-/34866889 ...but, this does not give a complete explanation of all the realms and discludes the crossroads. This thread and the dimension one (excluding the crazy stuff) was meant to give greater meaning to this incomplete explanation of the realms and the nature of the realm between. Thread on the DTD:http://kh13.com/mybb/showthread.php?tid=9251 So what do you think is up with this place? Is my diagram right? Wrong (not including what I pointed out)? Any extra opinions? deathrebirthsenshi 279 Posted July 25, 2011 Not to be corny or anything, but in truth all worlds are more or less connected, it's all about finding ways to cross. As for the crossroads, it seems pretty plausible; it's obviously between the realm of darkness and light. I think in the interview the realms of darkness and light were explained as being two planes, and the between worlds as steps between them or something, with each worlds being closer to the light or darkness (except Twilight Town; it's right in the middle). There isn't much explanation on the realm of nothing, although I feel it may have importance later on...
