Well they don't interest me, but just because I don't want/have them doesn't make me any less of a fan. There are just some people who want to just go with the basics, others who go all out, or somewhere in between. Now you can't argue that either of those ideas makes anyone any less or greater of a fan, you can't rate how much of a fan someone is by how much stuff they have or collect. If that were true, then the people who haven't been able to get some of the Kingdom Hearts games due to lack of total cash or inconvenience would be less of a fan than the people who do have the games, at least, that is according to how you are putting it. The point is, just because someone may not have as much merchandise based on a series of some sort, doesn't make them any less of a fan than someone who does. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing you for wanting the cards, it's just the fact that you automatically assume that a good fan is someone who tries to get his or her hands on whatever merchandise of the series he or she is interested in. The kind of fan who wants to save money for the actual games, and who wouldn't be able to play it since noone else near them is even remotely interested in KH and would be the only person with them. Also, these people were just giving you advice and trying to save you money. The TCG is quite old and they aren't even making cards for it anymore. Nah I wouldn't consider you a jerk, it's not like you got super mad or anything, in fact, what would make you a jerk is if you weren't even willing to accept what some people were saying and just got mad, that would have been you being a jerk, but you apologized and that shows character, more character than I've seen out of other people including myself, so don't worry about it.
