Big Hero 6 world announced for Kingdom Hearts III

Toominator

During the Disney Interactive event at D23 Expo 2015, a world based on the movie Big Hero 6 was announced for Kingdom Hearts III! The story in Kingdom Hearts III will take place after the events of the movie. The subplot of the world will involve Heartless taking over the Baymax that was left inside the portal from the end of the film. The following image is concept art created by series artists, which showcases Sora riding on the back of Battlesuit Baymax.

It takes place after the movie which is actually pretty cool and it seems that the original Baymax that was lost in the portal is going to be corrupted by the antagonist and be used against Sora and the gain this is so amazing!!!

i like how they're doing a continuation of the story rather than a simple retelling with an "insert Sora and co. here" added in. Sounds like it leaves more room for them to incorporate the Disney stuff into the main KH story this time around.

I'm excited about everything they shared, but... is that it? Could they not even show Sora fighting regular enemies in the world for like 10 seconds? Do they even have at least one are of the Big Hero 6 world done yet? I wouldn't say I'm underwhelmed necessarily, but I just felt like they were building up to something that didn't happen.Sigh... so the next showing is at D23 Japan Expo right? When is it? November? Well, I guess it's time to do... something... idk :/

* First world (I think) that has a story that takes place after the movie it's based on

Space Paranoids was technically, though it was basically a recreation of the first Tron anyway. Still, Big Hero 6 seems like a good choice for a world, and the concept art looks super baller. Now I'll have to actually see the movie.

This world and the idea for the world's story is just perfect! It honestly tugs at my heart because the Baymax in the portal is the original one that we had to leave behind but now we have to fight him. However, is it possible that after he's defeated he'll be free from Darkness and we get a Baymax summon since there will be two?

I at least expected a short story trailer but i guess this was ok for D23. I guess we wont be seeing anything significant until E3 2016 or maybe even TGS this year

I've heard somewhere on KHInsider that someone speculated that Baymax's empty body could be a vessel candidate for Xehanort's Heart. But that aside, I've never seen the movie, so I may try to watch it so I know what to expect. Also, we still have KH3 news coming from the KH fan event in Japan on November 3rd of this year.

9. Sora in San Fransokyo is gonna be awesome!

Dude, imagine the sheer scale of San Fransokyo as a world. With the graphical scheme and the power of the PS4? It's gonna be freaking beautiful.

I just realized something: It's probably easy that darkness has taken over that Baymax because it only has that fighting chip thing that Heiro made for him with all the fighting skills and such because when he took out the good chip in the movie and he only had the fighting chip in he became all evil and such, so they will probably incorporate that in the plot somehow

heck yeah. Flying through that skyline on Baymax's back should be breathtaking.
