Kingdom Hearts: The Pit (RP)

Near the end of the Keyblade War, there was a great battle in Twilight Canyon, a special place that, although few had ever considered it significant, was home to a weak point in the barrier that separated the Realm of Light from the Realm of Darkness. Now two armies charge at each other in the valley, intent on defeating their enemies. This is where the great story of "The Pit" begins.

 

Max's blood began racing as he charged toward the enemy, ready to destroy the dastardly followers of darkness before him. Time seemed to slow as he came closer and closer to the enemy. Finally, one of the soldiers came within striking distance, so he summoned his keyblade, Explosive Justice, and attacked the soldier.

 

[Why did I sign up this?] Blight asked himself. There were plenty of ways to make money during a war. He could have sold weapons, or worked as a guard while most of the other able bodied fighters were away. But no, he'd been dumb enough to actually enlist in this stupid war! And now here he was, in the middle of a battle, guns blazing, fighting for his life!  He continued to shoot at the enemy soldiers from behind a large rock, hoping that no one would decide to attack him anytime soon.

 

(All right folks, let's start this RP off with a bang! Feel free to battle anyone who's not on your side, and have fun!)

Gendo cut his enemies down with superb finesse, as he always did... The war had taught him well...

Bullets and low level spells pinged off Claire's shield as she advanced to the next line of cover. When she was close enough, she dashed for the cover.

"By the Light, are we really using kids now?" A grizzled sergeant beside where Claire had landed said.

He looked at her with a mix of annoyance and concern.

"We need more then grumpy gramps to win this." Claire retorted.

The sergeant scowled for a moment, then chuckled.

"With that kind of attitude, you could pass for 45." He said. "Got a mission?"

"Artillery emplacement, two clicks north."

The sergeant poked his head up to assess the situation for a moment, then hunkered down again.

"Got ya." He said. "Me and mine will proved covering fire. You can use a trench for a few yards."

Claire nodded her thanks and took off.

It didn't take Max long to cut his enemy down to size. Once he was done, he noticed a guy (Gendo) taking out soldiers one after the other. "Hey, nice fighting!" Max shouted to the soldier, before noticing another dark soldier, this time with a pair of swords, charge at him. "Fire!" Max shouted, and a fire ball shot straight out from the tip of his keyblade to the swordsman's chest. While he was distracted, Max finished him off with a series of strikes from his keyblade.

 

As Blight continued to fire down on the enemy, he noticed an enemy keyblader (Claire) bolt out from a nearby trench. [she looks like she has something important to do.] Blight thought, and began shooting at her.

 As Power gazed from the high cliff above, he thought "They (Gendo & Max) might be worthy opponents. They can help me control this...this...hidden power within me..."

 Power fell backwards, eyes closed, calmly... When he opened his eyes, BAM! Power shot up into the air, gliding all around, trying to study the opponents' battle below. He dived a little lower to see what's happening more clearly and when he looked closely, he noticed that they were also Keyblade wielders. "So I guess I'm not the only one with a Keyblade, eh" Power thought with a smirk, "Nice!"

 Power dived down towards the ground, and right before he hit he ground, he launched a fire ball at the ground to make his grand appearance!

 With a huge smile on his face, Power said "Hiya!"

A few arrows of light shot from the shadows and intercepted Blight's shots. Quint walked forward, presenting himself to Claire and her attacker. "Continue onwards Claire. We do need that artillery battery taken out. I am very certain that this dark fool will present a low level of skill." Quint said, his words directed towards Claire, but still looking towards where the bullets had originated. "He or she is also very rude. Attacking such a kind young lady with no warning? How extraordinarily barbaric." Quint taunted, though his tone was still calm, not malicious in any way, despite his words.

"Why hello there stranger! How's the battle been going for you?" Max said cheerily, fueled with the adrenaline of combat.

 

"War's barbaric buster, that's just a fact. In battle, honor's nothing but a quick way to get yourself killed, so why should I bother?" Blight replied to Quint, and continued to fire from behind the cover of the small bolder, this time shooting at  Quint.

"So this is where the party's at, eh" said Power, "well in that case..." Power summons his Keyblade. 

 "Be my opponent!" Power points his Keyblade at Max, "Besides Master Irtimid, I never had a proper opponent." In Power's head he thought "And maybe he can me unlocking this untapped power of mine...if he has he potential..."

"So this is where the party's at, eh" said Power, "well in that case..." Power summons his Keyblade.

Max scowled at Power. "What is this, treason? If you want to prove yourself, do so against the enemy!" he shouted. Just then, Max, Power, and Gendo were ambushed by a squad of dark keybladers.

Gendo sighed. "Treason is so petty..." He impaled one keyblader, and continued his assault on two more.

laix was runing of to ware max, power and gendo ware. with his keyblade, oblivion in hand 

 

"nead any help?" he swings his keyblade at one of the dark key blade welders.

"No." Gendo muttered. At least he didn't… they were a bit too weak...

[Power Jusho 1,783]

 'No! Nonononono! No treason." Power said quickly, "It's just that, you seem like a fellow who can hold his own but I guess this isn't the time or place for a practice round."

 As Power charged towards a Dark Keyblade Wielder, he said "Hey, see who can take out the most of these Dark-fellows!"

As quick as the wind, Power took out 3 Dark Wielder with his Flame Claws. "Beat that!"

"Five." Gendo said to Power, stabbing one of the surprise attackers who was behind power.

"Thanks" Power said out of relief, "Hey, above you!" 

As three Dark Wielders were about to slice into Gendo with an aerial attack, Power used his power of air to push him out of the way!

Quint kept up his barrage of arrows, shooting out the projectiles. "Personally I prefer to keep myself at a higher position. Honor and dignity is the only thing separating me from the petty thief. So that's why I bother." Quint kept his bow cocked, and waited for Blight to poke his head out. He did in order to fire off another few rounds. Quint fired his own arrow, before ducking behind a tree himself. He heard the bullets impact his cover. "This is going nowhere..." Quint muttered. He needed a new strategy if this fight were to get off the ground. Quint concentrated for a second, and channeled light into his hand. He held his new projectile. The archer dove out from cover, landing in a roll. He got up on his knees, and threw his orb of light. It landed behind the cover of the gunman, and exploded.

Minus watched the three light soldiers cut down more than a few of her "comrades". In reality, they were barely strong enough to swat a fly. Minus jumped off the ledge that she had been perched on, and landed in the midst of Power, Gendo, and Laix. A dark shockwave exploded from her. Minus stood, and glanced around at the three light soldiers. "Maybe you'll find me a bit more of a challenge." She said, her voice bored and dry.

(Hey Cap'n, I'm gonna make Minus a little bit stronger for this fight, simply because it's a three on one, if that's alright?)

[Four against one? This won't even be a challenge.] Max though, but right before we was going to charge at Minus, he heard someone shout, "Blizzard!", and suddenly his right arm, the one holding his keyblade, was frozen. Before he had a chance to unthaw it, Braxen, the man who froze his arm, ran over and, with a few strikes from his keyblade and a kick to the head, sent him unconscious. 

 

"Oh come on, that wasn't even interesting." Braxen said, disappointing. He then saw Power, Gendo, Laix, and Minus. "Two against three? Sounds like a blast!" Braxen shouted, and ran over to Minus. "Don't worry kid, I'll keep you safe!"

 

When Blight saw the orb of light coming towards him, he knew he had to jump out of the open to escape the blast, so he did. How ever, he had a trick up his sleeve. "Stop!" he shouted at Quinn as he jumped away from the boulder, causing Quin to freeze in place. He had to cast it quickly, so it wouldn't last more than a second or two. He used his brief window of opportunity to get to his feet and throw a few smoke pellets between himself and his opponent. causing the ares around them to be filled in smoke. He then put away his pistols and pulled out his longsword.

The tall young woman tucked a lock of silky black hair behind her ear, surveying the battlefield with a critical eye.  Upon acquiring a Keyblade and being taught to harness its powers she knew that it would mean bloodshed, though this was a little more than she had bargained for.  I'm supposed to be making a difference, not by fooling around with these key-wielding kids, she thought.

 

But alas, there were orders to obey, and if it meant that she had to cut through her enemies, well, she would do what was needed.  After taking down one or two well-skilled Keyblade bearers, however, Ari couldn't help but wonder why.  Why, why was she doing this?  It wouldn't bring her sister back, nor would it rewrite history.  It could, however, rewrite her life, which is what she was counting on.

 

After her opponent stilled, Ari tore her Keyblade from his chest and proceeded along the battlefront, not engaging in combat but rather surveying it.

 

Or at least for now.

jest when we had a chance, this guy (braxen) dissuaded to join in. he runs torwords braxen with his keyblade in a reverse grip

"got you now!"

but as he was charging at braxen, one of the dark welders blocked his path, guarding him

laix swinged his keyblade at the dark welder knocking him/her of balance.

"These fiends has no chance against me!" Power slashes the Dark Wielders in half one by one with ease.

When Power turned around, he was struck in awe. A gorgeous woman in black has appeared.

"Woah," Power thought, "Who is THAT?!"

But before he could go up & ask her, a group of Dark Wielders appeared around Power.

With a giant roar, Power said "Get..out...of my...WAY!!" His Fire Breath burnt the Wielders down to a crisp.
