Journal Entry #287

 

We have been trapped in the Realm of Darkness for eight days now. When I joined the other keybladers of light in their army, I knew I would have to face the horrors of open combat, see my comrades and even friends die in front of me, and make decisions that could mean either life or death for those around me. However, I had expected to experience these things in war, not in the living nightmare that this place is. Yesterday,we were once again attacked by a the horde of small dark creatures we have come to call the shadows. We managed to defeat them, but not before losing Jax and Elina. Now there's only myself, Carson, Kaden, and the three keybladers of darkness. We may have been on opposite sides of the war back in the Realm of Light, but here, we've agreed that in order to survive, we must work together.

 

There were hundreds of us when we were first transported here, but I'm not sure how many of us are left. We haven't seen any others for two whole days now. As far as I know, no one has found a way out of here. The Realm of Darkness has been explored before, and many have been able to travel between the realms of darkness and light in the past with little difficulty, but no matter how hard we try, we can't use our powers to escape. What makes things worse is that yesterday, Carson told me he thought he saw people in the distance, but they looked different than the other soldiers of light and darkness that were teleported here. He said they looked like tribal natives. If that's the case, I'm not sure we want to meet them. I can't imagine the savagery and brutality that would come from being born and raised in a horrible place like this.

 

I'm beginning to fear we're all going to die here.

Hey guys! In this RP, your character(s) are soldiers in the Keyblade War, either fighting for the forces of light or the forces of darkness. However, this RP isn't about the Keyblade war. It takes place during a large scale battle near the end of the war, where due to the great clash of light and dark, as well as the battlefield's close ties to the Realm of Darkness, hundreds of soldiers from either side are transported to The Pit, a particularly dangerous section of the realm of darkness sealed in all directions by mountains, where the heartless thrive, and are stronger than normal. But there's more to fear than just the heartless. Not only that, but most modes of transport, such as keyblade gliders and corridors of darkness don't work. Once there, the goal is simple; survive the pit and try to find a way to escape.

Standard KH13 rules apply.

If you have any questions about the RP, please ask me, whether that would be through a PM, chat, or in this very thread. Whichever you're most comfortable with.

Feel free to make as many characters as you want, although I may change this rule later on. Remember, this RP is about fighting to stay alive, so you may want to make multiple characters so that you can kill one of yours off from time to time, to make things more intense and dramatic.

Keep in mind that each character is a basic foot soldier, so don't make them too powerful. Also, make sure to leave room for improvement as the RP progresses.

No duel wielding keyblades at the beginning of the RP.

And thanks to being raised by dragonoids, he has to ability to control fire. With these great power, there's also another side to it. If Power some how gets knocked out, another side of him comes out. Some raw, unconstrained power that Power himself doesn't know. It's the total opposite of his original power: earth & ice. Personality: Loud, outgoing, over dramatic, slightly arrogant, and optimistic. Max can almost always find something to smile about, even in the bleakest of circumstances.

Bio: The son of a long line of keyblade wielding heroes of light, Max has always been expected to be a valiant warrior who fought for the light, and actually looked forward to fighting in the Keyblade War, as it gave him a chance to fight against darkness and prove his worth.

Personality: Quiet, pessimistic, thoughtful, and can be at times sarcastic and snarky. He's always honest, sometimes brutally so.

Bio: Orphaned at a young age, Blight had to learn how to make it on his own quickly to survive, and eventually became a mercenary for hire. He was recently hired by the forces of darkness to fight alongside them. He doesn't really care about either side, and only fights for the money.

Wow, I haven't seen you in the RP forums since "The Experiment", Mystic. Glad to see you're back into roleplaying. As for your character, she sounds great, but I'm afraid her powers will need to be changed, at least a little. Certain time magic, such as Stop and Slow, are perfectly fine, but no time traveling.

Formally titled as a "Keyblade Guardian" and considered the 'extreme solution' to what has now become an 'extreme problem' their master [who has yet to be identified] decided to deploy him from the posh comforts of a royal castle into the hell-zone that is known to his battle buddies as "The pit." Wow, I haven't seen you in the RP forums since "The Experiment", Mystic. Glad to see you're back into roleplaying. As for your character, she sounds great, but I'm afraid her powers will need to be changed, at least a little. Certain time magic, such as Stop and Slow, are perfectly fine, but no time traveling.

It really has been quite some time, yes, and thank you very much for the warm welcome!  It's very nice to be back, and I was excited to see you hosting another RP since Welcome to the Meeting Lands.  That was one of the best RPs that I joined, and I see this RP having a good amount of potential.

Hey guys, I've decided to introduce three more of my characters, although I won't begin using them in the RP all at once.

 

 

Name: Penny White

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: Averaged sized, with dark blue armor and a black scarf. She has long silver hair and deep blue eyes. Much of her face is covered in scar tissue from being burned.

Side: Dark

Keyblade Wielder?: Yes

Weapons and Powers: A black and white keyblade called Ashen Snow, as well as fairly decent fire magic.

Personality: She was once kind, sweet, and caring, at times she still is, but the incident she suffered as a child, years of discrimination has convinced her that the only way she could get by in this world was by being cold, serious, and unfeeling to almost everyone around her.

Bio: When Penny was only nine years old, her and her parents were attacked by a fire wielding rogue, who killed her parents and burned much of Penny's face and some of her upper body. She spent the next five years of her life mocked and ridiculed by those around her for being deformed and ugly. Then, a keyblade master found her, and made Penny her apprentice. Penny learned to cast away her fears, and even learned how to proficiently control fire magic as a way of conquering her fears. When the Keyblade War started, she and her master joined the forces of darkness. After her master died in battle, Penny decided to no longer wear the mask that concealed her face, as a final step to getting over the fears that once ruled her life. However, deep down, she's still afraid of allowing anyone to become dear to her, in fears of losing them like what happened to her parents and her master.

Name: Braxen Hartford

Gender: Male

Appearance: Tall with tanned skin, green eyes, and a shaved head. He wears a black leather jacket, pants, gloves, and boots. What can I say, the dude likes leather.

Side: Dark

Keyblade Wielder?: Yes

Weapons and Powers: A dark blue and silver keyblade called Adrenaline Rush, as well as some ice and dark magic.

Personality: Braxen is a thrill chaser who loves to feel adrenaline rushing through his veins. He's also a bit of a clown and thinks of himself as a lady's man.

Bio: Ever since he was little, Braxen loved to put himself in intense,dangerous, thrilling situations that made his heart race, which has led to him getting many scars and broken bones all over his body. This continued even after he became a keyblade wielder. When the keyblade war began, Braxen jumped at joining the side of darkness (mostly because that's the side his former master joined),  and both test his skills and have a justifiable reason for getting himself into dangerous situations.

Name: Samantha Rain (goes by Rain)

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: Short, with scarlet red hair and hazel eyes. She wears a white and yellow robe.

Weapons and Powers: A staff. She's not very good at melee combat, but has a wide verity of magic at her disposal.

Personality: Kind, quiet, and usually quick to trust others, as long as they don't have ties to the army of darkness.

Bio: Rain's father, a keyblade master, was one of the first to join the forces of light in the Keyblade War, as well as one of the first to die. Once Rain heard the news of her father's death, she quickly joined the forces of light, determined to avenge her father's death.

Name: Mara Leda

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Weapons and Powers: Chokuto: straight edge sword without a guard and blizzard magic 

 

Personality: Quiet and with a stoic demeanor Mara tries to keep her emotions bottled up, while she can identify and respond to other's feelings she has a hard time expressing her own. She is very secretive especially about her past due to the nature of it and does not like to talk about it openly under any circumstances unless she has to. She is very loyal and protective of any of her friends going to such extremes as facing a very dangerous enemy in order to let her friends escape.  

 

Bio: Before Mara fought for the light she used to serve the darkness under her mentor who was a keyblade wielder, While serving under the darkness, she was often forced to endure rigorous and abusive training, often doing things that made her wonder if she made the right choice. When ordered to execute a group of wounded and defenseless soldiers, she blatantly refused and attacked her team, letting the soldiers run away. Because of her insurrection, she was taken prisoner, brutally beaten, and placed under watch by the same team she attacked and were told to kill her should she disobey orders again. She managed to escape though, with the help of her mentor. Unfortunately, her mentor was left behind.

Name: Cole Solaris

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Weapons and Powers: a black and blue keyblade, a novice in thunder magic

 

Personality: Being a soldier Cole has learned to stay calm and level-headed in most situations, and tries to act that way on the battlefield. Off the battlefield he is kind of a shy person, but he initially tries to hide this by "acting cool" often reacting to situations with a non chalant attitude.

 

Bio: Cole comes from a world that was war-torn before long before they heard of the keyblade war, part of the resistance he was fighting for freedom from his oppressive government who later got help from the dark forces that began plunging his world into darkness. At the time they didn't know the government was getting help and they had never heard of a keyblade or a keyblade wielder until they started showing themselves in battles. At first it was fine they only showed up occasionally then they started coming out of the woodworks, It seemed there wasn't a time when they wouldn't show up. Cole got his keyblade after a solo run in with one of them while trying to get back to his team

Apperance: He has blue hair thats almost as spiky as Soras's. He wears a cloak the has a picture of the "heart" sign on it. Under that he wears a white t-shirt and blue leggings

Weapons and Powers: His weapon is called Purity (it look likes way to dawn and kingdom key) and his power is Chill Down which can be used for ice magic

Personality: Yuki Oyshi is super quiet, very shy, and super cold. Many people wonder how he's a good guy because he loves to see bad guys suffer.

Bio: When Yuki was a boy he was often left out. He was ridicule because he was always quiet. At the age of 14 he got mad and killed a boy with his keyblade. He was driven into madness after that day. When he was 17 Yuki had the madness taken out of him and he wanted to re-pay for his sins. He wants to help those who are in need. but he's still not up to the job because there is still some madness inside of him.
