Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] Ultimania, the official guidebook for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], released today in Japan. Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] Ultimania is said to contain a lot of information and secrets about both Kingdom Hearts 3D and the future of the Kingdom Hearts series. We will keep updating this post with more information about the book as it appears.

Update 1: A post on 2ch.net has revealed some details about the interview. Thanks to FF-Reunion for the tip, Sky from KH13 has translated the details below for you.

-- Does the "Secret Message Unlocked" in KH3D hint at KHIII?

Nomura: About that, I'll leave it to your imagination. Well, you'll get the answer for that later.

-- Does the last light from the credits form "III"?

Nomura: I can't tell the details. I made that out as a way of giving my secret message.

-- KH3D FM?

Nomura: Maybe in a few years, but no plans for it right now. The Osaka team is really busy. ＼(^o^)／

-- Is BbS Volume 2 = BbS2?

Nomura: I used "A Fragmentary Passage" without regard to its context. What I mean is, there's a story for Volume Two, without using that scene. I can't say there isn't a possibility of making it, but there are no plans for it right now.

-- The Mysterious KH = 3D?

Nomura: We interrupted titles in 3D, and we haven't reopened that discussion yet.

Update 2: Another post on 2ch.net has revealed even more details. Sky from KH13 has translated this below.

- There are lots of familiar characters among those hidden by the black coat on the seats at "Where Nothing Gathers".

- There are hopes of using Pixar titles.

- Can't talk about time, but the new KH Series Title is already being worked on. There may be a possibility of announcements of some sort shortly.

The mysterious KH: No plans about producing it. Bbs vol.2: No plans about producing it at present. Team Osaka: Currently busy with some titles. New Title for KH: Can be announced shortly.

There's an interview with Tetsuya Nomura in the KH3D Ultimania that went on sale today! From the interview:

They don't have any plans for BBSV2 right now, trust your imagination with the Secret Message, there's no plans for an FM for this title, the mystery KH project is stopped because they did KH3D, please look forward to whether the 7 lights are those 7 people, lots of things have already started happening for a new title in the KH series, and he thinks they will be able to make some kind of announcement in a relatively short time.

There you go! In the interview there's also 'impressions upon seeing the 3DS, the way we brought in free flow action, the title 3D, choosing which worlds to use, about the new black-coated people in Organisation XIII' etc. I also really really recommend 'Ask Mr Tetsu everything! Scenario Mysteries' for Nomura's detailed commentary! KH3D's Ultimania is pretty big, very much worth reading, go and buy it for sure!

- Regarding the Dream Eaters' growing system: "I thought about a system where you defeat enemies and make them your allies. But instead of thinking they were enemies before, I'd rather you to love them as if you raised them from their very birth."

- In order to travel through time, "first" you need to give up of your form (body). When the man in the brown coat executed it, all the others got the same ability. But, except for YMX, not all of them came by traveling through time.
- Both Ansem SoD and Xemnas exist alongside Master Xehanort, after being defeated and giving birth to their old human form, in the Space-Time of KH3D.
