Deep Jungle is a world based on Disney's 1999 film Tarzan that appears in the first Kingdom Hearts. It is the home world of Tarzan, Jane, Clayton, Kerchak, Kala, and Terk. This world was intended to return in more installments of the Kingdom Hearts series, but due to Disney being unable to retain the rights to Edgar RIce Burroughs work they were forced to scrap it in all subsequent entries of the series. As a result, Deep Jungle is the only world in the Kingdom Hearts series to only appear in one installment, though it does appear in the HD collections due to its inclusion in the first Kingdom Hearts.
