Terra

Terra (also known as Lingering Will) is one of the main three playable protagonists of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and a Keyblade Wielder. Terra is strong, brave and protective, mainly relying on brute strength in battle. He is also somewhat naive, often failing to notice suspicious behaviour shown by inhabitants of the worlds he visits and causing dark damage as a result. Terra bears some parallels with Riku, such as the two of them struggling to contain their inner darkness as well as their habits of butting heads with their friends. Terra was also the person who set Riku on the path of becoming a keyblade wielder as he performed the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony with a 5-year-old Riku on the Destiny Islands. In the final battle of Kindom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Terra's body was stolen by Master Xehanort as a new vessel, causing Terra's soul to inhabit and animate his Keyblade Armour as the Lingering Will. As of the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 3, Terra's body is still inhabited by Xehanort. Although Terra's official introduction occurred in Birth by Sleep, he first appeared in the form of the Lingering Will as a secret boss in Kingdom Hearts II. He reappeared in his own body wearing his keyblade armour in the game's secret ending, though we didn't see his face until the extended secret ending of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.
