The World Ends With You: Solo Remix has returned to the Apple App Store and now supports iOS 8. Unfortunately, there is still no cloud saving support. The Android version has also been updated to support Android 5.0.

Business Division 3 (the Kingdom Hearts division) has discontinued support for The World Ends With You on iOS. I have confirmed with Square Enix and support will continue for the Android version. Who would have thought Nomura's an Android guy? Source
