A few months ago I recorded and shared a total of 64 piano covers from the original Kingdom Hearts soundtrack (the whole OST minus some repeated themes hehe). A few of the arrangements belong to the Piano Collections books, but most of them are my own arrangements. I'm very passionate about KH and I worked hard on this project, so I'm leaving this here in case any of you may enjoy the final result! 😄 ▶️ Part 1: ▶️ Part 2:

Yoshitaka Suzuki, an additional composer for Kingdom Hearts III who composed the cutscene tracks for the confrontation with Davy Jones at the end of The Caribbean, shared a few comments on Twitter after a fan (@Titan_Trainer) highlighted the songs. "Hearts of Courage," "The Victorious," and a track unavailable in the official soundtrack were all crafted with a unique motif correlating to Davy Jones since the original song from the film could not be used. Suzuki also noted how Hans Zimmer, a composer for the Pirates of the Caribbean films, including At World's End, was a vital source of inspiration for him as well as being one of his favorite composers. Further, following a fan inquiry, Suzuki explained that while he received instruction from the music director, he essentially had compositional freedom. Tetsuya Nomura had no role in determining the track's production either. You can view Yoshitaka Suzuki's initial tweet and replies elaborating upon his role with the tracks he composed for The Caribbean in Kingdom Hearts III below: Additionally, the fan tweet that initiated Suzuki providing insight is viewable below: View full article

Hey all! A few days ago, I posted my jazz cover of Utada's new theme song for Kingdom Hearts 3, "Chikai" / "Don't Think Twice" (depending on what you want to call it). Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think (if you like it, there are links in the video description where you can download/stream my cover!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLqlv22JFN0

Hey folks! So this is going to be a longish post regarding the music of BOTH KH and moreso KH3. So first thing is about the KH 2018 orchestra world tour going on currently. I've been hearing about a beautiful arrangement for Oath being performed at the current run of the tour...And although I have found live videos, I am dying to hear a real deal recorded version..So I'm curious if anyone knows if they are planning on doing a "second breath" CD or something?? I would love for it to also feature some stuff I was really sad that didn't make it onto the first soundtrack (Ventus' theme, Sanctuary/Passion, Organization 13 theme, 100 Acre Wood, Working Together, Mysterious Tower theme, One Winged Angel - maybe melding both the classic version and the Advent Children metal version?, etc. - feel free to chime in with any suggestions you may have too!!). Now the second thing was regarding Nomura's comments about FF characters being in KH3....Since a majority of them are FF7 characters as it's the most popular entry (my favorite too) - I would personally LOVE to hear Aerith's theme in KH3. If nothing else just to add onto the whirlpool of emotions already attached at the hip to KH3 (plus, can you imagine if it was also a beautifully composed, UPDATED piece for this day and age?? Ugh the feels.) But would any one else enjoy that? Thirdly, the anticipated would be "new" version of the iconic Simple and Clean...What would you guys and gals like to see happen for that? Personally I'm low-key expecting either a dubstep or rap version of it lmao (75% kidding)...Honestly I'd be fine with an even more slowed down version like that of Hikari but with singing.... And lastly - While on the subject, how would you like the final fight with Xehanort to be handled musically? I have this image in my head (which I'll go into at a later date in a video) of it being a very intense polarizing (and prolly long) fight with a darker more intense Hikari playing with like choral singing in the back (like that of the aforementioned One Winged Angel)? TL;DR - 4 things. 1 - Do you think we'll receive a second KH orchestra tour soundtrack (esp with some KH3 music and new additions from past entries)? Has there been any talk of that? I wanna hear this orchestrated Oath. 2 - Would anyone else besides yours enjoy hearing an updated version of Aerith's theme (FF7) somehow in KH3? 3 - If there is a new one...What do you anticipate the "new" version of Simple and Clean will sound like? 4 - Musically, how do you envision the final confrontation with Xehanort? I picture a more darker version of S&C with choral background singers. Feel free to let me.know what y'all think!! Let's get some good discussions going!!

I spent the last week working on y own rendition of "Dearly Beloved" for a fan-made KH3 soundtrack. I changed up some chords, added new melodies. I tied in some themes from other works of mine for my KH3 soundtrack. I tried to give the opening a darker feel to it then the previous versions. Composed by Yoko Shimomura Arranged by Mark Messer (me)

Even ten years later, new things are being discovered in Kingdom Hearts II, most recently an unused/untitled song, but for me one thing remains a mystery: in Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, and the HD remake in Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMIX the song "Whoop-de-Dooper Bounce", from The Tigger Movie, is listed as one of the songs in the game in the credits, but it is not included in any soundtrack nor sung in the actual game; no matter how many times I've played it. Not a single Kingdom Hearts wiki has even mentioned its inclusion. Has anyone else been able to hear it or know if it is even in the game's data?

Hello everyone!, I just got my copy from JP last week, but just unboxing it with 'Dearly Beloved' playing in the background I decided to share exclusively with you all KH13 members some photos of it! Enjoy! Special Request: There's Liner Notes from Shimomura-san from both Soundtracks, I believe other KH fans wanted to know what is she talking about, I would like to request to the KH13 translator team to translate the notes. Thanks!

Hey everyone, I know I'm not a very known member here, but I am a fan of Kingdom Hearts like all of you. Honestly, I don't really know if this petition will be successful but I figured why not, right? As it's unclear whetherSquare Enix has plans to release the CDs to American fans, I feel like to make sure it happens this petition will help sway them. It won't hurt anyone at least. So if you're interested, it would be great if you guys would sign it. It's really just a message showing that they'll make money from selling the CDs in America and that will only be made clear with a lot of signatures Thanks again! - AJ Link to the Petition: http://chn.ge/1uFmkKQ (P.S. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong discussion thread, I wasn't sure if there was a different section this needed to be in)
