When I first heard Don't Think Twice (called "Chikai" in Japanese), I was sort of on the fence about it. I got super emotional and teared up listening to it the first time because it's the KH3 Utada theme, but at the same time, I was sort of somewhat disappointed when I compared it to Simple And Clean and Sanctuary. But, after listening to it more and more, the more it grows on me. I absolutely love it now. It's a really beautiful song and it really sort of encompasses my feelings towards this series. I can understand why some people think it might be "meh," since I used to have somewhat of that mindset, but I love it now. It's grown on me so much. I can just imagine hearing it as the credits roll for KH3 after a super emotional ending and super emotional game experience as a whole. -

The music in Kingdom Hearts is a big reason why I love this game series so much. If it wasn't for these awesome songs, these amazing themes that reflect the characters so perfectly, like someone turned their personality into a song, I think I wouldn't like it as much as I do. (I even listened to Lord of the Castle or Dismiss while I was in the gym ) So as the title says, what is your favorite Kingdom Hearts song? Can be a battle song, a characters theme, an opening song or whatever. (NOTE: you can post as many as you want, but if it's more than 2 try to put it in a spoiler tab) My favorite KH song, is the KH2 version of Dearly Beloved. Dearly Beloved in general is an awesome song, I would even call it a masterpiece. It's actually a simple song, the melody doesn't change too much amd is quite constant, imo. And yet, everytime I hear this song, it feels like the perfect theme for Kingdom Hearts. I don't know how Yoko Shimomura managed to do that, but Dearly Beloved is like the song version of KH

Even ten years later, new things are being discovered in Kingdom Hearts II, most recently an unused/untitled song, but for me one thing remains a mystery: in Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, and the HD remake in Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMIX the song "Whoop-de-Dooper Bounce", from The Tigger Movie, is listed as one of the songs in the game in the credits, but it is not included in any soundtrack nor sung in the actual game; no matter how many times I've played it. Not a single Kingdom Hearts wiki has even mentioned its inclusion. Has anyone else been able to hear it or know if it is even in the game's data?

So this is just a little simple suggestion I have for maybe the next Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer coming out in the future that it would be nice to have a new score for the trailer or they could just mix Rage Awakened with a new score. So I listened recently to DDD's soundtrack and I found myself very drawn to this score https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gt4SJJ2kOAk&index=2&list=LLtVJggFXGOGRwHHTvmL7eUw and I thought for a sec that "Wow this would be a great song to use for a KH3 trailer" I know Nomura won't listen to me but I wanted to know what you think about maybe having a new score or why not have a mix of both, but the reason why I think the score fits is because if there will be a new combat trailer or world exploring it could really fit.- 7 replies
