Square Enix have announced their lineup for Gamescom 2019, and the Olympus and Toy Box demo for Kingdom Hearts III demo is included! Amongst the other video game demos that will be playable at the event are Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy XIV Online, and Trials of Mana. For the first time ever, fans will also be able to play a demo for Marvel's Avengers, which is due to release on May 15, 2020, and watch the new trailer for Life is Strange™ 2: Episode 4 ‘Faith’. The Square Enix booth will also showcase merchandise prototypes and offer an open demo space for board games. You can read the press release below. Gamescom, known as the world's largest gaming event, will take place from August 20th to 24th at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. Attendees can find Square Enix booths in Hall 9 of the venue. “gamescom: Opening Night Live” will be hosted by “The Game Awards” host and creator Geoff Keighley and livestreamed on August 19th at 8:00 PM CEST (2:00 PM EDT and 11:00 a.m. PDT). It will give gamers around a world an overview of what to expect from the event this year, including announcements from major video game publishers and independent developers and world premiers with new footage and guest appearances.
