Hey. It's been a little while since I've posted, so I decided to make a document of my attempt to comprehensively break down the development of Final Fantasy Versus XIII. I was inspired by what we've learned about Verum Rex recently, particularly from Re Mind. I redirect my sources to a Reddit page that has all of the links compiled together. KH13 staff were at Square Enix's "Uncovered -Final Fantasy XV" event in Los Angeles on Wednesday and managed to grab an exclusive interview with director Hajime Tabata and Kingdom Hearts series creator Tetsuya Nomura, who were both at the event, sitting just a few rows ahead of us! In an interview with Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy XV, he was asked hypothetically if there was a game he'd like to work on as a member of the staff and he said Personally, that sounds awesome! It can kinda be like with Hyrule Warriors, have Tabata direct the game while having Eji Aonuma supervise. Source: Gamnesia -
Hajime Tabata & Business Division 2's next game will be a brand new IP. It will not be a sequel to Final Fantasy XV or Final Fantasy Type-0. Nor will it be Final Fantasy XVI. There's a good chance it will be based on Agni's Philosophy/Project WITCH. Of course, they have to finish Final Fantasy XV first. Thanks to Twitter user Vagrant_XII for the tip.
