I recently faced this same problem with FF16, the new female character Jill was just as bland and boring (Edit: same for Tifa Lockhart tbh. her being a hot female character is what carries her in popularity, and not her mediocre character). Tbh i can tell if Aqua was a male, she wouldn’t be this popular. it’s very clear that she would be the least popular of the Wayfinder trio if she wasn’t a woman, which is kinda sad when you think about it. But then again, this is not exactly a new thing to begin with, it’s fairly common. so it’s really not surprising whatsoever. Anyhow, i guess both Aqua and Jill (Edit: and Tifa) are just fine overall? I don’t think they are good characters, but I don’t think they are bad characters either. I guess I can call them decent at best.- 6 replies

My 3d printed Ends of the Earth Keyblade, Lingering Will Helmet, and Wooden Keyblade -
My 3d printed Wooden keyblade Terra gives to Ventus. I created the model and printed it out of wood filament. I then sanded and stained it. No paints were used. -

My most detailed armor set, Terra's "Broken Will" from kingdom hearts. I created a damaged version of Terra's Lingering Will Armor inspired by Birth by Sleep cinematic trailer and I tried to stay accurate to a lot of the major damage his armor takes such as what's broken off on certain pieces as well as any significant gashes. I included a buck of the shattered visor however if you want the regular one you can get it from my undamaged version as it's the same scale. This one was a lot of fun to make as i rarely get to destroy my models. It surprisingly took less time to do than it was to make the original set. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5494459 everything was sculpted in zbrush. This took surprisingly quick to finish. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I have about half the armor fully printed, smoothed, and ready to paint. I have also vacuum formed the visor and it it turned out great. I made videos of how i made everything. the next step is to finish printing everything and work on undersuit. For the undersuit I plan on taking some creative freedom and making look more like with foam rather than just a fabric. Making Terra's armor for a 20th anniversary convention in march. I've got a bout half of the pieces printed with about third completely finished. I vacuum formed the visor and ready to dye it. I'm still waiting on a custom ordered undersuit, just hoping it's ready in time. I'm also having issues with my 3d printers so I'm hoping can get those issues resolved so i can print the rest of the pieces. This is the progress I have so far. if anyone want to print their ow they can get my files below.
