The world was meant to end much earlier than 2012. Long ago a group who called themselves The Children of Cain, planned for the extermination of humanity. They would have succeeded if it were not for a group only known as The Knights of Eden, who stopped them, and saved the world from a much early end. The story and its details remain as mystery to this day, as all records were either lost to history, or destroyed. However, after years of investigation, Abstergo Industries have finally tracked down one final lead; the descendants of the Knights of Eden. With the animus, and their bloodline, they might be able to uncover one of the greatest events that the world never knew about. It starts with an E-mail, from none other than Abstergo Industries, saying that you have been selected for an exclusive trial for a brand new unreleased technology, promising you not just to try it out, but also financial benefits for your trouble. For whatever reason it may be, you decide to go. You arrive at the city's Abstergo HQ, where you encounter others who have received the same exact e-mail. As you are led deeper into the building, you are explained that there won't be a trial, at least, not a trial that you expect. You have all been selected because you are direct descendants of these mythical Knights of Eden, and they need your help, your DNA, to uncover its mysteries, through the use of the Animus. These strangers will now become your friends, and the more you learn, the more you will realize the danger of these memories. Will you agree with Abstergo's goals, or take it upon yourselves to save the world once more, just like your ancestors did before? Things to know: You would have two characters: Your modern time character and your ancestor Knight character. Both can come from different backgrounds, from Assassins, or Templars, or any other faction that you can come up with. Regardless they will be dragged down to the adventure ahead. You will RP as your modern characters outside of the animus, and as your ancestors while the inside of the Animus, and controls will be switched back and forth in and out of the animus to give a chance for development of both. The enemy would be a branch separate from Templars and Assassins that have their own agenda, and they will be known as The Children of Cain, and only exist in your ancestor's timeline. The timeline for this RP, upon the popular vote, will take place in The Renaissance (14th - 17th), which is the timeline of Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. It will take place all across Italy as the RP progresses. As the RP progresses your characters will gain Gifts of Eden. These Gifts are similar to supernatural abilities or superpowers, and as you will see as the RP continues, are hereditary. The Gifts of Eden can range greatly in use, whether it'd be physical or for range battle. Whatever suits you and your character. Use your imagination. Rules: No God-Modding No killing other people's characters without permission Romance and cursing is allowed but must be kept PG-13 Any extreme gore must be hidden in spoilers with a warning Each modern character must have an ancestral character to be inside the animus, and the other way around. You can have siblings if you want, but each must have their own ancestor for the animus. Any side characters you wish to add, however, don't apply to this rule and can exist independently in each timeline. Side characters will also have a separate character sheet, however are very brief and only exist to keep count on them. I have an idea for the plot and its villains.
