The 13th Vessel has uncovered some interesting assets from Kingdom Hearts III while data mining it with other people. Below are some of our favorite picks! Assets from Scala ad Caelum included buildings and building parts, the coat of arms with the Master of Masters' Keyblade, a model of the "cable car", and a set of 15 books (numbered with an original numerals design) plus 5 others. A font texture from Daybreak Town was also found. It is interesting that Daybreak Town assets are included within Scala ad Caelum, as the castle from Daybreak Town is featured in the underwater sequence in Scala ad Caelum and the two worlds are somehow "connected" (as hinted by Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura). The posters that you can find around the world were also extracted, and some of them you can see in vivid detail. Written using an original alphabet, some of them also feature numbers that can be identified using the numeral system shown in the book set mentioned above. Amongst these posters, there is one featuring a black cat with a red ribbon, some regarding musical performances, and some featuring products such as shoes, flowers, restaurant dishes, maintenance tools, cow milk, a blueberry pie, a sewing machine, and a chair. It is interesting, to say the least! The 13th vessel has commented that while the Chess Room assets are also there, the textures of the models that belong to that room look "weird", that there is some type of door and a lot of interesting little models. He will attempt to enter the room once he acquires more data. The Verum Rex posters from Toy Box, along with the actual front and back of the game packaging, was also extracted. A deluxe edition of the game and a strategy guide are also available. "That's the story of the King of Truth", it says on the back, probably referring to Yozora, the game's main character. Can you read the rest of the text? Assets from The Mysterious Tower include the interior, a whiteboard with scribbles, the pages of a book, and content used in the maps that are inside the game. The 13th Vessel has also provided us with some assets from Disney Castle as it appears in Kingdom Hearts III (when Chip and Dale call Sora on the Gummiphone). Other locations such as Radiant Garden, Remy's restaurant, and Namine's room were also explored, and a model of apprentice Xehanort found. You can find the complete album of images below! It is worth noting that the data to be data mined is not complete and that more assets could soon be uncovered. For updates on The 13th Vessel's data mining projects, you can follow him on Twitter or visit his YouTube channel, where he also posts videos exploring the Kingdom Hearts games out-of-bounds. UPDATE [September 15, 2019] Some more KH3 assets have been datamined thanks to the efforts of The 13th Vessel, SpookyMajora and daemon1 from XeNTaX. First, we have the infamous chess room. It is quite surreal to see that room in such detail. Next, it seems that Nomura signed Baymax's update chip, judging from these zoom-ins. Apparently all of the 0.2 customization models are in the game which isn't too surprising considering that 0.2 was initially meant to be a prologue to KH3. So they're most likely just leftover assets. The 13th Vessel showed off these four. The skyboxes of several of the worlds were found, and they're truly beautiful. An odd texture from Scala ad Caelum labelled to a 'speaker' in KH3's game files has been datamined too. Lastly, we have a strange photo that was found in KH3's game files. Many are saying that it is a photo from inside one of Square Enix's business buildings. We also have a blurry shot of Daybreak Town with a strange blue artifact. According to Twitter user Keytotruth, who is another individual helping out with efforts such as these, it seems to be an HDR image used for testing image based lighting. Either way, it's quite an interesting find! Speaking of Keytotruth, he has shown off a couple of the Stations of Awakening in closer detail. First of which being the Station containing the Foreteller masks, and Sora's Station. The sheer amount of effort these individuals have gone through to comb KH3's files is commendable and I applaud them for it. Which asset do you find the most intriguing? For further updates on KH3's assets, be sure to follow Keytotruth, and The 13th Vessel. The 13th Vessel also posts out-of-bounds exploration videos of KH3's various worlds which I'm sure would compel most of you to check them out! [UPDATE [September 23, 2019] Even more assets have been found thanks to 13th Vessel. There are quite a variety of interesting assets to comb through here. One of the most intriguing ones is this magic circle which is either used during Donald's Zettflare, or during the final fight in Scala ad Caelum. This Monsters, Inc. keycard is also interesting since there is a fair amount of detail on it, such as the smudged print all over it, alongside the text. This seems like a map of sorts, so it could have possibly been used in the Port Royal world. This seems to either be a template, or earlier build of the Gummiphone. Either way, seeing that phone icon there is rather odd. One of the last truly enticing assets to me are these cards which are used during the Luxord fight. Seeing them in more detail is quite exciting. There were also other assets found which you can check out by visiting the "KH3 Ingame Assets" gallery album, here! Once again, thanks to 13th Vessel for these finds. You can follow him on twitter here. Which of these newly found assets do you find the most intriguing?

We all know that Ventus is currently sleeping in the Castle Oblivion right? which is really The Land of Departure, Traverse Town, Daybreak Town, and Twilight Town in reality, or even possibly, a shared area of the overlapping parts of the aforementioned worlds (those worlds being in-between worlds). I mean his body is there, but his heart is still residing inside Sora’s heart. Someday, I know that, he will wake… but maybe, just maybe, it is not his first time sleeping there… It may even be his third time. And that is the main subject of this article. Reincarnation Theory We all know how Ventus closely resemble Gula–how he is rumored to be the reincarnation of Gula. But we also know how Ventus, as a Dandelion, appeared also in the age of the Master of Masters and Foretellers. Now how can this be? The clue may have been already present all along. The Old Mansion and Castle Oblivion In KHII, we have seen how the Old Mansion in Twilight Town is really connected to the Castle Oblivion. And here are the curious parts: there are symbols of unicorns/pegasus in that place, a very big fight seemed to have happened there a long time ago, and there is a sleeping pod in that place that shows a sign that it was used before by/for a person other than Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Gula & Ventus (Dandelion) In the KChi Back Cover, we are informed that when Ira, the unicorn Foreteller, discovered that Gula is the holder of the lost page, he searched for him. (Keep in mind that there is also this theory that the holder of the lost page is the traitor.) Now Gula might be the traitor or not, but if he really is Ventus, then maybe, Ira or some other character(s) got a hold of him, and, by some mysterious reason, erased his memories and turn him into Ventus (Dandelion). Speculation(s) We all know that Dandelions are the only ones chosen to survive. Maybe, by some mysterious reason/importance of Gula/Ventus’ survival, that/those person(s) did such thing. Maybe it is really about the X-blade. In any case, Gula might really be Ventus (Dandelion) who slept in C.O. for a while; he slept and lost his memories and woke up to be a new boy as a Dandelion. Ventus (Aqua and Terra’s Friend) Now, we also know that the Dandelions must have their memories erased. Maybe for X-blade again. Again the C.O. entered into action (probably). And thus we have Ventus as a boy, who again, lost his memories to be Aqua and Terra’s friend. The Fight Now there’s clearly a very destructive fight that transpired in the Old Mansion/C.O./Land of Departure. What happened or for what reason? A fight for Gula/Ventus? Who are the participants of such fight? These questions are pivotal yet still a mystery to us. Maybe my prior article is the answer or maybe not. Birth by Sleep: Nomura as a Reader of George MacDonald Like my first article, I will warn the reader that if he or she does not like things concerning religion especially Christianity, he or she is free to refrain at this point to read further. Now, Nomura might be a reader of George MacDonald. Here’s a thing: MacDonald is a master story/fairytale/Christian allegory writer who inspired other legendary writers (e.g. C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, G.K. Chesterton etc.). He is famous for his emphasis on waking by sleep.1 It is his way to emphasize Christ’s words about living by dying.2 Aside from this, MacDonald also emphasized the existence of other worlds and doors that lead to them. (See how MacDonald really influenced Lewis’ Narnia by his Faeryland.) Now, I believe that if Ventus did not fallen into sleep and resided in Sora’s heart, the world of KH might be in worse state now–the birth of a new keyblade wielder by his sleep crushed the prior attempts of Xehanort. Come to think of it, Ventus’ sleep and Sora’s awakening as a keyblade wielder is kind of similar to Sora’s death (being a heartless) that gave a new life to a Nobody (Roxas). Without Roxas, the world might be in a worse state during the time Sora was still asleep. Now, think about this: why does the room where Ventus is currently sleeping called as the “Chamber of Waking”? Because sleep will later on give way to waking. The hurting will be healed. As true as the evening will give way to a new dawn. Disclaimer: Again I apologize for spelling mistake(s) or grammatical error(s) if there is/are. 1. Lilith 2. Philippians 1:21; John 12:24

The abandoned mansion is probably the most interesting thing in Twilight Town. I wanna know what unicorn obsessed person once lived there (I leveled Roxas from 10-20 in the mansion in my most recent KH2 playthrough so I noticed shit, there are freaking unicorns everywhere!).

Before people say the obvious that Twilight Town and Destiny Islands can't be located in the same world due to one being in the realm of light and the other in the realm inbetween, hear me out- whilst this is unlikely there is a possibility this might have some truth. I'll split this Into 2 sections- firstly the worlds as a whole; secondly in terms of character relations and links to to symbolism. 1) let's start of with Destiny Islands- in a playable function we only play on what I will dub the ' small Island' where we have the mysterious cave etc. However that is not the only section of the island in fact we have a ' main island' where we know they have housing; an education system and a sort of governance hinted at when Kairi is said to be staying at the Mayor's house. Politics aside this is where things start to come into place, outside of the village area we see a mountain/volcano in the distance. Moving on to Twilight Town; again we only see a snip bit of the overall world and from the clock tower we see a huge viewpoint of the town ( including areas of the town we haven't seen; a vast woodland area) and the return of a mountain. Now here's the semi interesting part, if you observe the cutscenes where the mountain is visible from both Destiny Islands and Twilight Town you'll notice they are parallel to each other- meaning that if it is the same mountain then it would make sense it being the same due to how it is viewed from either world). Before people think this is a geography lesson bare with me a little bit longer please 2) Destiny Islands as people know is the home world of SRK and even Master Xehanort; I'm specifically focusing on Sora here in relation to the symbolism element. If you take Sora as the symbol of light and thus dub the islands as the 'light' then let's consider Twilight Town. The birthplace of Roxas and Sora's nobody, where there is light there is always a shadow cast so it makes sense for worlds follow suit. Back to the mountain ( sorry) if you understand the concept that the symbolism between the world's could relate to Sora's heart, then consider the Mountain to be Sora's heart ( well symbolically) in that case like Roxas resides on other side of Sora's heart, then Twilight Town resides on the other side of the Islands. Also you would then have a constant connection between Sora and the worlds he shares a connection with. In the case of Destiny Islands and the light ( Riku and Kairi) and in the case of twilight town ( Roxas; Xion and Namine). Another add on is Sora's translation as ' Sky', now it might well be plausible that both worlds share the same ' sky' ( symbolic to Sora's heart) and instead of being separate worlds might be one of the same.

So recently while playing my Critical Level 1 game mode which I had completed last night ^w^ I used the Twilight Town Mansion to level Sora's Final Form up a little and for some reason I felt like the mansion was worth taking a look at in a little bit of detail. One of the first things I had checked were the painting which I found many of them were hard to make out, except for one that looked very very much like the Tea Party Garden from Kingdom Hearts 1 in Wonderland. It's made me wonder if the other painting may be other places from different worlds and if whoever owned the mansion before had traveled to these worlds themselves. Also, sorry about the image of the painting for some reason it's been flipped around ;;

Now that Ive seen the E3 trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 Im so impressed and blown away with the new footage that was shown like ahhh, oh my god . Remember when I used to say that many KH games world's didn't feel like actual worlds. Square you made my wish come freaking true. The worlds that was seen in the trailer was BEAUTIFULLY REALISTIC AND LOOKED LIKE REAL WORLDS WITH ENVIRONMENT. THERE'S A TANGLED WORLD AND THAT WORLD LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE WORLD FROM THE MOVIE. TWILIGHT TOWN WAS A HUGE IMPROVEMENT AND LOOKED SO FRESH. AND ALSO I THINK THAT WORLD WHERE SORA FIGHTING THE TITAN WAS FROM HERCULES. AND LET'S NOT FORGET THE AWESOME COMBAT STYLE SUMMONS MAD HATTER'S TEA CUP RIDE, PEGASUS RIDE, CAPTAIN HOOK'S SHIP AND BIG THUNDER MOUNTAIN. FLOWMOTION IS BACK ALONG WITH THESE TRANSFORMING KEYBLADE GUNS. THE LOOKS OF YOUNG MASTER XEHANORT AND YOUNG MASTER ERAQUS WAS AWESOME. SORA'S NEW DESIGN LOOKS IMPRESSIVE AND I LIKED IT, IT MAKES HIM LOOK OLDER AND MATURE I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH HIS NEW OUTFIT I WILL SURELY GET USED TO IT IN NO TIME. AND HERE'S SOME AWESOME SCREENSHOTS IM DYING OF JOY

Secret Bosses For Kingdom Hearts 3
Guest posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Secret Bosses For Kingdom Hearts 3 Secret bosses have been a major staple within the Kingdom Hearts series and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be no different. Just like everything else about Kingdom Hearts, people are buzzing with ideas as to who should have the title of “secret boss”. After all, they are considered as the most difficult bosses of the game. So, here are my personal considerations for secret bosses just for Kingdom Hearts 3. Kefka (Final Fantasy 6) {Twilight Town/Cable Town} Kefka is the second most infamously famous antagonist of the Final Fantasy series only behind Sephiroth. As fantastic of a villain Kefka was: it was the Dissidia Final Fantasy series that literally gave voice to this character and ever since that debut, Final Fantasy fans have been completely amazed by Kefka’s multi-personality of insane and completely hilarious. Kefka now deserves to shine in the Kingdom Hearts series replacing Sephiroth as a dangerously powerful secret boss who is able to use a versatile of magical and physical attacks. I believe that he should be fought in Twilight Town because the sunrise and festive colour pallet of the town suits a joker like Kefka absolutely perfectly. Whether “Final Fantasy 6 Terra” should get involved with Kefka is completely up to the developers. Gilgamesh (Final Fantasy) {Destiny Islands} Gilgamesh is a very unique character in the Final Fantasy series. His speciality is that this very being is the only character to appear in more than one final fantasy after his debut from Final Fantasy 5 (excluding the Dissidia series). His speciality is being a sword collector and what better sword to collect than The Keyblade. The scenario could be Gilgamesh traveling as he usually does and then stumbles upon Sora. Being fascinated by the Keyblade, he’d tell Sora to battle him at an area of Destiny Islands. You battle him there (alone) and if you were to defeat him then there probably would be a scenario of him fleeing through a portal. I chose Destiny Islands for this secret boss because this would probably be a far more carefree battle than the other secret bosses mentioned. Garland (Final Fantasy 1) {Game Central Station} Unlike the previous Final Fantasy secret bosses that were mentioned, this secret boss will be entirely faithful to his original roots. Why you wonder? Because in Game Central Station (the world of Wreck-It Ralph), the place where you would end up battling him would be the same location as where you would battle him in his original game. I chose Game Central Station in particular because this is the very first Final Fantasy antagonist and seeing as Wreck-It Ralph is all about video games – this is the perfect tribute (of sorts) for the Final Fantasy franchise within Kingdom Hearts. Garland’s attire and battle style would obviously match that of his Dissidia appearance as that is the most memorable 3D appearance of him and his scenario with Sora… Square Enix can think of that stuff. Ultimecia (Final Fantasy 8) {???} You may think that Ultimecia is a suggestion completely out of the blue but she has far more relevance as a secret boss than all of the other Final Fantasy characters mentioned. As knowledgeable Kingdom Hearts fans are aware, Xehanort in his youth is able to time travel. So, it makes more than complete sense to place Ultimecia into Kingdom Hearts 3 as a secret boss to fit into that theme. People can already imagine Leon really getting involved in the cutscenes that feature Ultimecia which is another reason as to why she would be suited for Kingdom Hearts 3. Although, Square Enix would have to completely re-design her attire if she was to be suitable for a Disney game but if that gets sorted then it would be fantastic to go against another time-traveller! The Headless Horseman (The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad) {Radiant Garden} Now we move away from the Final Fantasy cameos and onto the Disney cameos. The Headless Horseman is the first Disney property that sprung into my mind when I thought of a secret boss. He has all the ingredients worthy of the title. He was from a feature that barely many people from the modern day know about (just like Julius from KH3D), him and his horse look very menacing and he has the theme of darkness cloaked all over him. I decided that Radiant Garden was the best location for him to be based upon because that world in particular is very royal, traditional and spaced out. The particular location in which The Headless Horseman is battled at in Radiant Garden would either be a secluded area outside or an entirely new area. If this happened, it would be very memorable! Queen Narissa (Enchanted) {The World That Never Was} Now, Enchanted is one of those worlds which would not be able to fit into Kingdom Hearts because the plot involves two worlds intertwining with each other. Alongside this, the plot of the original movie would be far too convoluted for the game. The main antagonist is an exception to this though as she is a mixture of The Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine and Maleficent and her final form is far too cool and unique to be forgotten about which is why she deserve the honour of being a secret boss. I chose The World That Never Was because the scenery is most equivalent to the movie she transforms in. She would make her stay at a new area and would want to get rid of The Princesses of Heart so she can be the fairest woman. You battle her and once it is over, you slay her and she’s gone for good. Ghostly Rhinoceros (James and The Giant Peach) {Realm Of Darkness} If you thought that Julius from The Runaway Brain short was absurd then wait till you see this antagonist. The ghostly rhinoceros is a villain from Disney's adaptation James and The Giant Peach. Just like Queen Narissa, his world translates into Kingdom Hearts terribly, however, placing him in the realm of darkness would be perfect. Why? because he is a manifestation of Darkness. Sora, Donald and Goofy/Aqua or one of the other protagonists may encounter him as an enemy who is trying to ram them down (as angry Rhinoceroses do). Because the Ghostly Rhinoceros is formed of dark clouds, they can be really creative and make him difficult by having random thunderstorms being struck down as attacks, or alternatively, make him like dark hide and have a first person perspective battle! The New Primary Antagonist A majority of the Kingdom Hearts games tend to foreshadow a Secret Boss that is the next major antagonist after the game that they are debuted in. Examples of this would be Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix being the primary antagonist for Kingdom Hearts 2 and Young Master Xehanort from Birth By Sleep being the primary antagonist for Dream Drop Distance. Kingdom Hearts 3 is bound to give us a reveal of the next big antagonist for the Kingdom Hearts series and out all of the suggestions that I have given; this is an extremely realistic guarantee to happen because Kingdom Hearts 3 will conclude the Xehanort Saga and this boss can start off events for the new KH. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this very extensive article. I really dug creates as an avid Disney fan to see what valuable characters was worthwhile to be placed within Kingdom Hearts 3. Obviously, it is up to the developers entirely to decide what characters should be placed within the next Kingdom Hearts series as bosses but hopefully one on this list will be rendered just for KH3. -
So, as we all (should) know, in the KH3 teaser trailer, Sora was seen back in Twilight Town, being attacked by a swarm of heartless. Many people have thought that Twilight Town's story was pretty much wrapped up, but for some reason multiple trailers have depicted it. So, the question is: Why the hell are we back here? Well, I have two theories: 1) The Old Mansion. When we look back to the first trailer, the place where Sora is fighting the heartless is right next to the hole in the wall that leads to the Old Mansion. Now, I'm not sure why, but it might have to do with the memory pods, that's the only big reason I can think of for going back there. Now, if we're sticking to the memory pod thing, the reason they would be going back would be to restore someone's memories. Who's? Well, I think it could maybe be some of the members of the new Organization, such as Terra and Saix. It isn't confirmed that anyone norted would lose their memories, like Riku for example he was ansemed/norted, but that only affected his behavior, and his eyes weren't turned to gold until his battle with Roxas, where he turned into Ansem, but retained his memories. Then again, he wasn't personally norted by Xehanort. 2) The Key to Return Hearts Ok, this is more of an obvious one, they're either looking for the key to return hearts, or the key to return hearts is there. Now, you're probably asking "why would the key to return hearts be there of all places?" Well, honestly this is a really loose theory, but if you look at Twilight Town's name, you'll surely see the word 'Twilight'. I'm thinking the key to return hearts is neither light nor dark, although I do not have evidence of this. So what's both light and dark? Dawn, dusk, and twilight. Now the reason I'm saying twilight is because dawn and dusk both have their primaries. Dawn being light, and dusk being darkness. Twilight (I think) is an equal amount. So, if this is true and the key to return hearts is neither light or dark, would it make sense if it was in twilight town? Well that's just a theory, A GAM- Hahah, thought I was rip off game theory, didn't you?

Something I've noticed about DAYS, KH II, and the KH II manga is it doesn't seem to be able to pick a design for the clocktower. In KH II, the area the group meets is flat, just a surface that leads outward, and they hang their feet over the side while sitting on the flat area. In DAYS, there's a ledge, about a foot higher than the flat area, and the group sits on the ledge, which is wide enough for Xion to walk on (and fall off of). In the KH II manga, same thing: flat area, no ledge. Why the sudden change in architecture? Was the ledge removed before KH II? Just something to think about.

You better sit down for this one, because I think I've hit something! *Unfortunately, I am unable to post screenshots, but just watch any Old Mansion gameplays and you'll see EXACTLY what I'm talkling about.*It seems the "Old Mansion" in Twilight Town may be older than we previously imagined....So old in fact, that it could have been the home or workplaces of one of the ancient Foretellers, Unicornis. Don't believe me? See for yourself....(1.) When you first open the gate there is a small courtyard that has a series of six pillars. All of them are destroyed except for two: one in the far back that cannot be identified, and the first pillar. Guess whose animal is on the first pillar? Unicorn's. OHHH..... but it doesn't stop there.(2.) Enter the mansion, and you will come to the lobby. There are two large unicorn statues there, as well as two large unicorn heads above the doorframe.(3.) Enter the dining room, and there are 5 chairs. How many Foretellers are there? 5. When you examine the table, Sora says that only a large blast could have done this. Hm......do you think that someone could have walked in on the Foreteller's meeting and got angry that they weren't invited? Also, you will see a unicorn head hanging on one of the walls,and about 4 empty spaces on the other walls where heads were once hanging. (6.) Walk into the library, and there is a large unicorn head statue inside one of the bookcases.Indeed its all just speculation, but it's still a rather strange coincidence. And like I've said before....there are very rarely coinsidences in this game....everything seems to happen for a reason. Does Unicornis' pillar still standing mean that he escaped whoever's wrath destroyed that place? Or did he cause the damage himself? What does that say for the other destroyed pillars? Who does the mysterious pillar standing in the back belong to? The mysterious Sixth?Seriously, I could see if it was something common like lions or something, but Unicorns?? And all over the place? Pence was right, something is strange about this house.....something terrible went down, and there may only be two people in the entire universe who know what. But where are they??
