In December 2013, Square Enix Japan restructured their development structure. Square Enix Japan has 12 Business Divisions in total and they each work on multiple projects. Some projects are developed by internal teams while some are outsourced. The staff inside each division are not fixed and will commonly work on projects in other divisions.
