Do you think we might see other Pixar villains/antagonists in possible future games in the Kingdom Hearts series, besides only just Randall from Monstropolis in Kingdom Hearts III? Well that's the question, Pixar has had several different villains/antagonists from their 23 films so far, but it will depend on Square Enix and especially the crew/team at Pixar on what role the antagonists from the Pixar films will play in the original story exclusive to KH, and whether or not that specific Pixar antagonist would fit within the original story or simply not add them in at all. When compared to the Disney villains (e.g. Maleficent, Pete, Hades, Jafar, Oogie Boogie, Ursula, Scar, etc.) and the original Kingdom Hearts villains (e.g. Xehanort, Ansem Seeker of Darkness, Xemnas, Vanitas, Braig/Xigbar/Luxu, Organization XIII), the Pixar Villains aren't really threatening and they don't pose the same level of malevolence as other villains they can utilize. On top of that, Pixar isn't known for their villains in the first place, as the main conflict in each film is the protagonist's internal/external struggles they face in the film (e.g. Woody's jealousy of Buzz Lightyear in the first Toy Story, Marlin's external struggles on finding his son Nemo, Joy's intrapersonal conflict on not allowing Sadness to touch the Memory orbs, Merida wanting to be independent, etc.) with the antagonists only serving as a foil (e.g. Chef Skinner) or an obstacle (e.g. Terry) to the protagonist. Of course, Pixar does have its well-known villains such as Sid, Hopper, Stinky Pete, Randall, Syndrome, Lotso, and recently Ernesto de la Cruz, but at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter in that front for inclusions or not, I know people really wanted Zurg for Toy Box, but sadly he wasn't represented because he's just a minor character in Toy Story 2. In Randall's case for Monstropolis in Kingdom Hearts III, he was just brought back by Vanitas as a "pawn" so he can collect Negative emotions (Screams) for the Unversed and for Vanitas. Plus, he was just "there" to be kind of antagonizing the situation to Sora and the gang, which would likely explain Pixar being very restrictive on Monstropolis and why we never got to fight Randall as a boss (let alone a mid-boss) in Kingdom Hearts III, which I'm not surprised so I don't blame Pixar's decision on not allowing us to battle him as a boss when compared to Nomura and his team's decision on not making CLU and Gaston bosses in Dream Drop Distance and X respectively. Regarding Ernesto De la Cruz for a potential Coco world, depending if Nomura and his team would retell the events of the movie or have it be an original story (a sequel or a prequel to the film) at Pixar's request, if they have the plot of the world be a prequel to the film it wouldn't make sense for Sora, Riku and/or Kairi (whoever is going to visit the world) to encounter him and know about his true nature that he murdered Héctor and stole his music and songs (cause that goes to Miguel who figures it out himself once he finds out about Ernesto's true nature in the Land of the Dead in the original movie) or literally have him go the same route like what Randall went to in Kingdom Hearts III where he's just antagonizing the situation, although to be honest, I feel Ernesto wouldn't be much of a boss as he literally isn't much of a fighter when compared to Randall. I think the likely route for Ernesto is have the Coco world be a prequel to the film and have him be just indirectly mentioned, or have a small cameo in one to two scenes in the world, cause he does a Sunrise Spectacular at the end of Dia de Los Muertos, but only to have his concert be briefly interrupted by a Giant Nightmare Dream Eater or a Heartless. For The Incredibles, just like with San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6), given that they have the superhero aspect they can put any random threat in the world (e.g. Underminer, Heartless, the OC Villain (Xigbar/Luxu, MoM, one of the Foretellers), etc.), since its most likely going to take place after the events of the 2nd film given that Evelyn Deavor was arrested. Speaking of which, I also wouldn't get my hopes up on battling Syndrome due to his demise in the first film which will disappoint certain players that wanted to battle him in the Kingdom Hearts series only to have their hopes crushed he's not in the game, so that's that, even the same can be said for Hopper (A Bug's Life) due to his demise from his own film. As for Terry from Pixar's Soul, when compared to the other Pixar antagonists, she's more of an "obstacle" than a full fledged villain as her job is counting the number of souls that enter the Great Beyond and dislikes whenever the "count is off" or a soul is missing, so more than likely if we wound up getting a world based on the film she's going to give pursuit to Sora and the gang and be an obstacle much like how she tried to find the soul of Joe Gardner in the film, instead of having her as an actual boss or go through what Randall went through in KH3. Personally, I'm okay with having more original KH centric stories for the Pixar worlds, but if they do have the Pixar villain/antagonist appear and be involved in the original story, I don't want Pixar to continuously be very restrictive like what they did with Randall in the Monster's Inc. world back in KH3. But what do you guys think do you want some Pixar antagonists in a future KH game or just only leave Randall as the ONLY Pixar Villain/antagonist in the series?

|| INTRODUCTION || The layout of a large school campus decorated with skulls and other gothic architecture is showcased as an unidentified voice speaks: "Shinigami Buki Shokunin Senmon Gakkō... or in simple terms: 'Shibusen'. Though regarded as a powerful organization, its more well-known purpose is as a school, where young hopefuls who have been gifted with the power of transforming in the Death Weapons may come to learn how to control their powers and partner with Meisters, those who can utilize their weapon forms." The voice is slowly revealed to belong to a young boy with black and white-striped hair, wearing a black cloak and standing directly in the center of the main entrance of the school facing the arduous stone staircase in front. "Most students attend simply for the chance to better themselves through their knowledge of Meister and Weapon capabilities, but others are assigned specifically as combatants who protect the world from the dangers of Madness by collecting the souls of evil beings. There was also a policy where Death Weapons could transform themselves into a special blade called a "Death Scythe" if the Weapon and Meister pair could collect 99 souls and the soul of a witch, but due to recent events, this has been abolished. I would go into further detail, but it is quite a long story really..." "Uh, Kid, could you hurry this up, this is getting kinda boring," said a young woman standing a few steps from the boy's right. "Yeah, nobody wants to sit through this stuff, they just wanna get to the action!" said another young woman standing a few steps from the boy's left. "Liz, Patty, I've already told you, this information has to be present so that nobody gets confused..." Kid said, at first speaking firmly but then growing noticeably irritated. "And anyways, why is that you two are off position again? This speech can't be right unless you stand at least 3 inches at both of my sides!" "Alright, alright, yeesh!" Said the woman on the right, moving into position. "Whoopsie! Sorry Kid!" Said the woman ont he left, doing the same. After dusting off his coat, Kid began speaking once more: "Now then: the world as we know may be living in a period of peace ever since the defeat of the Kishin and the truce made between Shibusen and the Witch Order, but there will always be new challenges that arise for the world, and the existence of Madness is eternal in the hearts of even the purest person." Kid raised his arms up as the two girls transformed into a pair of guns and fell into his hands. "However, the biggest question is: are you ready to undertake such a challenge? If the answer is yes..." Kid spun the the two guns in his hands and pointed them both towards his front. "Then let's get busy," he finished, grinning. - - - - - || "SPARTOI INITIATION" Arc -- START || A typical, brisk afternoon of training, learning and fighting arose for the students of Shibusen's EAT Class, and all seemed to be going exactly as they always did as the students settled down for the next class with their usual teacher Marie Mjölnir. However, after settling into their seats, they noticed that their teacher Marie was running late. Before many could ponder the reasoning for this, they were interrupted by the sound of what seemed like the screeching of wheels on a wood surface, and through the door came the source: a gray, heavily stitched man with a giant screw in his head riding an rolling chair backwards only to promptly hit his wheels on the edge of the front door and fall directly onto his butt. The man said nothing, proceeded to enter the door in the same fashion once more. Though the students were familiar with the man in question, as well as his chair antics, most of them could not help but blankly stare at the man in both unimpressed confusion. He, of course, was Frank N. Stein, one of the best Meisters to ever graduate from Shibusen and a semi-active teacher and direct affiliate to the headmaster Lord Death, while also being regarded as an overall oddball for his eccentric and downright horrifying obsession for experimentation. After repeating his folly, Stein quickly got back on the chair and rolled down towards the teacher's desk, adjusting the glare of his glasses while also cranking the screw lodged into his cranium. "Good afternoon class. For today's lesson, I will be stepping in as your instructor in place of Miss Mjölnir." Various mutters from the desks emerged, some merely surprised by Stein's appearance and others now frightened at the possibility of Stein making them dissect another endangered animal as he regularly did for his impromptu lessons. "I'm sure you're all wondering why, so I'll let you know right away: this lesson isn't going to be part of your regular curriculum. Instead, it is going to be centered around a very important aspect of Shibusen's structure, something we like to call... 'Spartoi'." Even more murmurs arose, but none of them were laced with fear, and instead all were composed of pure wonder and excitement. One such student, bearing a head of white-hair and a scar across his right eye, grinned feverishly at the words of his teacher. Spartoi, huh? This is perfect. Looks like all my years in the Academy are gonna pay off in the biggest way possible... he thought. "Spartoi? I don't think I've heard about that," said a girl sitting right next to the white haired boy, who chuckled at her response. "Doesn't surprise me. You were probably too busy practicing some silly ball-lut act," he said. "It is called ballet, Shiyu, and it's an important aspect of my choreography," the girl huffed. "So what is Spartoi anyway?" "Only one of Lord Death's biggest faction of Meisters and Death Weapons from the EAT class, assembled directly for the purpose of taking on high-risk missions of utmost importance for the entire world. That same group had Lord Death himself at the helm, as well as his partner Mr. Evans and the rest of their classmates, including the Thompson Twins, Tsubaki Natsukasa, Maka Albarn, and my personal favorite, Black☆Star, the Warrior God." "Wait, really? Wow, that is impressive. Ah, to imagine Lord Death in his prime, fighting alongside such other accomplished people. It must have been absolutely dazzling," the girl said, posturing herself as if she was going to break into song.

Fire Force (also known by its original title En En no Shōbōtai ("Fire Brigade of Flames")) is the newest manga series by Soul Eater creator Atsushi Okubo currently published by Kodansha and serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. In a nutshell: "... set in a world where humans spontaneously ignite and turn into flaming demon-like creatures, a disease most feared and known by the name "Human Body Ignition Phenomenon". Enter Shinra Kusakabe, a boy with the ability to ignite at his own will, who joins the 8th Special Fire Brigade of Tokyo to fight the Flame Humans, achieve his goal of becoming a hero, and to uncover the truth behind his family's death." And before you ask, no, I just don't like this manga because it involves fire powers, you f*cking racist. Now I've been reading this since it first came out sometime in 2015, and personally, so far it hasn't grabbed me as much as Soul Eater did, but you know what, it's still Okubo, so if you like his style, this manga will interest you. It's got fun characters, well drawn fight scenes, and it's even got a little bit of that dark, gothic/horror-ish element that Soul Eater, though not quite as much. There's also more of a focus on religion too, which is a little ironic for me given I'm agnostic, but hey, it doesn't really hamper my experience, and if you're into that, it'll just make yours even better. Hopefully. So yeah, if you've read it, cool, let's get to discussin', if not, then I don't blame you because I feel like I'm the only one who's even heard of this outside the people that responded to the thread I made about it way way way back when. I'll be explaining the various kinds of enemies in the Kingdom Hearts universe, how they're created, what happens when they die, and what their goals are. If you feel you are very familiar with the details and lore behind these enemies, then this post is not for you. Over a long time playing the Kingdom Hearts games, I've notice many people left confused about these enemies, whether it be in real life, or online, so I'm making this post to hopefully clear up that confusion. Enjoy! (This is a part of my "Explained" series of posts. To view my "Time Travel Explained" post, click here, to view my "The Braig/Xigbar Situation Explained" post, click here, and to view my "The Realm of Sleep Explained" post, click here.) What are Heartless? Heartless are the main and first enemy type introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series. Most of them are ink black in color and only act on instinct. They can be seen in various of the many worlds and realms in the universe of Kingdom Hearts. The stronger your heart is with the darkness, the more powerful your Heartless you produce will be. There are two types of Heartless: Pureblood Heartless and Emblem Heartless. What goal do Heartless try to achieve? Heartless mainly attempt to find and devour hearts, whether it be the heart of people, or the hearts of worlds. When they devour the heart of a person, then that person becomes a Heartless as well. Heartless, along with other beings strong with dark powers, are able to use portals called Corridors of Darkness. This portals allow them to travel from world to world and from realm to realm. It is dangerous for just anyone to use these portals however, because it is exposing you to direct darkness and it could affect your heart. That is why Heartless mostly use them since they are beings of straight darkness. How are Pureblood Heartless created? Pureblood Heartless were the first types of Heartless to exist. Pureblood Heartless are also known as natural Heartless, since they exist from natural causes. There are two ways a Pureblood Heartless can be created. The first way that a Pureblood Heartless can be created, is when someone succumbs to the darkness in their heart. Once this happens, the darkness inside their heart will devour their heart, then that darkness becomes a Pureblood Heartless. The second way that a Pureblood Heartless can be created is simply by drawing parts of the darkness out of your heart. Only beings that are strong with the darkness are able to do this, such as Xehanort. For example, in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Xehanort was able to create Neoshadow Heartless simply by drawing out the darkness in his heart. Similarly, Riku in the first Kingdom Hearts, was able to create an AntiSora Heartless simply by drawing out the darkness in his heart. Pureblood Heartless are simply darkness of the heart, made flesh. When a heart is unlocked or succumbs to the darkness, the darkness within comes out and becomes a Pureblood Heartless, and devours the heart while it's at it. When a Pureblood Heartless devours someone else's heart, then the darkness within that person's heart will come out and become a Pureblood Heartless as well. When Heartless devour the heart of a world, that world falls to darkness, meaning it ends up in the Realm of Darkness. How are Emblem Heartless created? Emblem Heartless were originally created by a machine made by Apprentice Xehanort, along with the other apprentices of Ansem the Wise. This machine reproduced the process in which Pureblood Heartless are created. This means that this machine was able to produce artificial Heartless by making hearts be consumed by darkness. Emblem Heartless are essentially darkness that has a trapped heart inside, unlike Pureblood Heartless which are essentially darkness that have devoured the heart and become one with it. Emblem Heartless can also be created when an Emblem Heartless consumes someone else's heart, just like how Pureblood Heartless are created when a Pureblood Heartless consumes someone else's heart. What happens when Heartless are destroyed? When you destroy a Pureblood Heartless, the heart within them isn't visibly/physically released, but it is definitely freed. The freed heart will eventually end up turning back into a Heartless. When a Pureblood Heartless is destroyed by a Keyblade, then it's freed for good. It goes into a sort of limbo state and waits for the corresponding Nobody to be destroyed so that it can combine back with the body and recomplete the original person. If the person has no corresponding Nobody, then all you have to do to recomplete them is destroy their Heartless (with a Keyblade) since their body is already waiting in the limbo state. When Emblem Heartless are destroyed, the corrupted heart that's freed will end up turning back into a Heartless, just like the Pureblood Heartless. Except the hearts are visibly freed. When Emblem Heartless are destroyed by a Keyblade, the heart is freed for good and goes into the aforementioned limbo state and waits for the Nobody counterpart to be destroyed, just like the Pureblood Heartless. If there is no Nobody counterpart, then all you need to do to recomplete the original person is to destroy the Heartless with a Keyblade. Them being destroyed by a Keyblade also allows Organization XIII to be able to collect the hearts before they get a chance to recomplete. What are Nobodies? Nobodies were the second enemy type introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series. They are mainly white in color, and they lack hearts. Many Nobodies also use Corridors of Darkness as well. Since they have no hearts, Corridors of Darkness are a huge convenience for them since they can use them without being affected. What goal do Nobodies try and achieve? Nobodies do not have a direct goal. Unlike Heartless, Nobodies have a sense of self, so they are basically free to do what they please. Most of them however, work together to achieve the one thing they truly want: their hearts. Since Nobodies have no hearts, they do not have emotions or feelings. They do however remember what it was like to have emotions and feelings. How are Nobodies created? When somebody loses their heart and become a Heartless, their body and soul fade away and wait for its Heartless counterpart to be destroyed by a Keyblade so the original person can be recompleted. If you had a particularly strong heart however, then your soul will continue living on inside of your body, therefore making your body live on as well. This is what a Nobody is. The stronger your heart was, the more humanoid and the more like you, your Nobody looks. People with slightly weaker hearts, become less and less human looking and take the form of creature type beings that somewhat resemble Heartless, other than the color differences. Organization XIII, a group of powerful Nobodies, are able to convert other powerful Nobodies into lesser, creature-type Nobodies, such as Dusks, as well, presumably using a machine to do so. What happens when Nobodies are destroyed? If a Nobody is destroyed, then it fades away. When someone's Nobody and corresponding Heartless are both destroyed, then that original person will return as a complete being, with heart, body, and soul all intact. (The Heartless needs to be destroyed by a Keyblade). If somebody didn't have a strong enough heart to produce a Nobody, then simply destroying their Heartless with a Keyblade will make them return since their body and soul, the things that would have created a Nobody, have already been destroyed. When you return as a complete being, you have all of your memories from when you were a Nobody as well as your old memories. You do not remember your time as a Heartless though. Other Information Nobodies are actually able to regrow hearts of their own. It is currently unknown what the specifics of this are and what the exact process is. Nobodies have the memories of when they were people. What are Unversed? Unversed are beings created by extremely strong negative emotions. They spawn from Vanitas and his emotions particularly, presumably because there is no other being with negative emotions as strong as his since he is a being of pure darkness. The negative emotions are so strong, that they take physical form, which is what Unversed are. Their goal is to do whatever Vanitas orders them to do, and when they are destroyed, their negativity flows right back into Vanitas. What are Dream Eaters? Dream Eaters are beings that exist and are born in the Realm of Sleep. They can also be created artificially. They are the Realm of Sleep's own personal way of darkness taking form as creatures. They are also the physical embodiments of dreams. They consume dreams. There are two types of Dream Eaters: Spirits and Nightmares. Spirits eat bad dreams, while Nightmares eat good dreams and plant bad ones. When they are destroyed, they seem to simply vanish, but Dream Eaters essentially work the same way dreams do since they are the physical embodiments of dreams, so all you'd have to do to get a Dream Eater to return after being destroyed is to dream it up again. That would be pretty difficult though since you can't really control what you dream about. Sora and Riku used fragments they collected from Nightmare Dream Eaters to artificially create their own Spirit Dream Eaters. The Master of Masters artificially created Spirit Chirithy Dream Eaters as well, probably using the same method as Sora and Riku. That is what we know so far about all the enemy types in the Kingdom Hearts universe. Now, I will explain various characters' involvements with these enemy types and how they relate to them. Sora In the first Kingdom Hearts, Sora stabbed himself in the heart with the Keyblade of Heart. This unlocked his heart, therefore making the darkness in his heart come out and become a Pureblood Heartless. When Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart, he had Kairi and Ventus' hearts inside of him. This also created Sora's Nobody, Roxas. Roxas is a special Nobody since he was created by a unique circumstance. Since Sora had Ventus' heart inside of him, Ventus' heart went with his body and soul (Roxas) and went inside of Roxas. Kairi's heart returned to her body and she was recompleted. Since Kairi is a Princess of Heart, she has special light abilities. Since this is the case, she was able to purify Sora's Heartless and bring him back to his human form. Sora was able to return back to his human form without the need and use of his body or soul, which is an extremely unique circumstance. He had technically become a walking, talking heart, until Roxas returned to him. Another thing to mention is how Sora's Heartless had a sense of self. When you willingly give in to the darkness and become a Heartless, then your Heartless will have a sense of self. Roxas Roxas is the Nobody of Sora. He took on the appearance of Ventus since he has Ventus' heart inside of him. Roxas has since returned back to Sora, and Sora is complete again. Roxas lacks his memory from when he was Sora because Sora's time as a Heartless was so short. Kairi Kairi is one of the Seven Princesses of Heart, so she doesn't have any darkness within her heart whatsoever. Since this is the case, when her heart left her body, no Heartless was created. Her heart took refuge within Sora and was later returned to her body when Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart and she was recompleted. Since she is a Princess of Heart and couldn't produce a Heartless, no Nobody was created either. Her body did not fade away since she had a strong heart, but it did not turn into a Nobody either since she had no darkness within her heart to turn into a Heartless, so her body stayed in a sort of comatose state until her heart returned to her. Like I stated before, she could not produce a Nobody since there was no darkness within her heart to produce a Heartless. But, when Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart, Kairi's heart was released, which then created a Nobody of Kairi since Sora did have darkness within his heart. Naminé Naminé is the Nobody of Kairi that was created by Sora instead of Kairi, as explained above. Since she was not created by a body or soul, she technically doesn't exist and shouldn't exist, but she does anyway. It is an extremely unique and special circumstance. Since she was created by such a unique circumstance and has a unique bond with Sora since she was created by him instead of Kairi, she is able to manipulate Sora's memories and the people's memories who are close to him. She has since returned to Kairi and Kairi is a complete person again. As stated above, Roxas has no memories of his time as Sora because Sora's time as a Heartless was so short. Naminé lacks her memory of her time as Kairi for this same reason. Naminé doesn't have her memory of her time as Kairi because Kairi never even had a Heartless to begin with. Terra-Xehanort Terra-Xehanort, also known as Apprentice Xehanort, is Terra's body taken over by Xehanort and is being used as a host body for Xehanort. He worked as an apprentice under the scientist, Ansem the Wise, so he can get close to the technology and resources that he has. He tested on different people and their hearts to see what affects different tests had. All of his tests ended in the people's hearts collapsing. He locked these people up in cells in a dungeon and since their hearts were collapsing, the darkness within them came out and consumed their hearts and became Pureblood Heartless. Heartless were very rare before these experiments occurred. He then created another test. He put alive people and dead people in the cell with these Heartless. The Heartless went for the alive people, because they had hearts. This caused the Heartless to increase in numbers. Apprentice Xehanort, along with the other apprentices of Ansem the Wise, then created a machine. This machine was the machine stated earlier that artificially created Heartless, known as Emblem Heartless. Later, Terra-Xehanort turned most of the apprentices into Pureblood Heartless by stabbing them all with his Keyblade. He also succumbed to the darkness and became a Pureblood Heartless himself. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness Ansem, Seeker of Darkness is the Heartless of Terra-Xehanort. He was created when the Robed Figure let himself be consumed by the darkness in his heart, therefore becoming a Heartless. That is what Ansem, Seeker of Darkness is. He had a sense of self, just like Sora's Heartless did, because he willingly became a Heartless. He is one of the only people to retain a human appearance after becoming a Heartless. He has since been destroyed by Sora. Scar Scar gave into the darkness in his heart, which caused the darkness within his heart to come out, consume his heart, then turn into a Pureblood Heartless. Scar retained his regular appearance, much like Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. He also had a sense of self, because he willingly became a Heartless. After Scar's Heartless was defeated, a strange and unique phenomenon occurred. Beings known as The Ghosts of Scar were formed from the lingering darkness of Scar. It is unknown why or how this exactly happened, and it is unknown if these "ghosts" would be classified as Heartless or not, but they were able to merge together to create an Emblem Heartless known as a Groundshaker, which is an even stranger phenomenon that has no current explanation. Xemnas Xemnas is the Nobody of Terra-Xehanort, created when Terra-Xehanort succumbed to the darkness and became a Heartless. Xemnas has since been destroyed by Sora. Since both Xehanort's Heartless and Nobody have been destroyed, Xehanort has returned as a complete person. Vanitas Vanitas is the darkness from inside of Ventus, taken humanoid form. Ventus was used by Xehanort to try and fulfill his plan of recreating the χ-blade. To recreate the χ-blade, two beings, one of pure light, and one of pure darkness, need to clash. So, Xehanort extracted the darkness side of Ventus' heart from within Ventus and it took a physical, humanoid form, known as Vanitas. Since Vanitas is a being of complete darkness, without a single bit of light within him, he produces extremely strong negative emotions. These negative emotions are so strong, that they take physical forms, known as Unversed. Riku In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Riku is considered to be a Dream Eater, because he has the ability to dive into Sora's dreams, and defeat the bad dreams, just like a Spirit Dream Eater would. That's it! I hope this was able to help anyone who was puzzled or somewhat confused with any of the enemies in the Kingdom Hearts universe Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below.

The first thing I want to say is that this is not a continuation or inspired by or anything related to any concepts directly attached to the Soul Eater anime. There are no Kishin Eggs, no Death City Robot, no Weapon/Meister Hybrids, and no lame "Falcon Punch" ending. None of that. Everything in this roleplay is a continuation of the original Soul Eater canon, i.e. the manga (with ties to Soul Eater Not! as well.) So yeah, if you're an anime only fan... you're gonna have a bad time. So either leave now or go catch up with the manga. For those of who stuck around, here's the rundown: Shibusen and the Witch Order are lobbying to pass a new law, the "Witches Equality Act", which will ensure that witches all around the world are allowed to live comfortably in the realm of humans without fear of discrimination. At the same time, rumours have been spreading around about the activity of Demon Tool Gopher, last seen fleeing the moon after the battle with Ashura while making off with various Noah Icons. Now, here's where we come in: Kid has decided that since many of the original Spartoi members (including the Thompsons, Soul Evans, Maka Albarn, Black☆Star, and Tsubaki Nakatsunasa) will become part of his new "Eight Guardians" faction, various EAT students (that's us, one Meister and one Weapon per player) will be evaluated to form a brand new unit to fill the ranks. What will they be doing exactly? Well, you'll have to sign up to find out... And there you have it. I know it sounds a little simplistic, but trust me, I've gone ahead and already wrote up a lot of details. I just want to see if the concept as-is garners any attention.

So remember last year when I talked about that article where the author of Soul Eater, Atsushi Ohkubo, was planning to start a new project in 2015 and speculated that it might be a new Soul Eater anime? Well, even after I realized that was super unlikely due to Ohkubo obviously not really having the power to do something like that on his own and Studio Bones currently being busy with Blood Blockade Battlefront, I still had some hope... but uh, this pretty much confirmed how wrong I really was. Yep. Atsushi Ohkubo is back ladies and gentlemen... but it has nothing to do with Soul Eater. He's starting a brand new manga seres called "En En No Shobotai" (translated as "Fire Brigade of Flames") that will premiere in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine. The new manga is described to be about a phenomenon where people are randomly bursting into flames... huh... and I guess it will focus on the firefighters who combat this crisis based on the title and artwork. Well, this is just... weird... but also kind of hilarious and awesome, and considering Ohkubo's work in Soul Eater, which was also hilarious, awesome, and definitely on the strange side, this new manga sounds like it could be a hit. Plus, it's about fire, so I already love it based on principle. lol So I can honestly say I'm looking forward to it, but how do you guys feel?

In the world of Soul Eater, the key word to be thinking right now is "finality". Spin-off manga Soul Eater Not! just had its fifth and final volume shipped last week, with the fourth volume recently released last month. SE Not! also had an anime adaption that ran in April to July earlier this year. The original manga has been over since last year, and so has the anime for some time. (there was a questiobale HD re-release on TV some time ago as well...) In short: it looks like SE's time is coming to a close... or is it?! http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-12-31/soul-eater-ohkubo-plans-to-announce-new-series-in-2015/.82780 According to ^ this article, SE creator Atsushi Okubo answered a question from a fan on Twitter confirming that he has a new project in the works for 2015. It is not confirmed what that project is, but us SE fans probably have at least one idea in mind of what that might be. For those of you who don't know, the original anime for Soul Eater was well put together... until the ending happened. SE the anime suffered from the method of averting its adaption from the manga and decided to go into its own story, which in hindsight, was a probably a bad move as I, and others believe, that the manga is ten times more well handled and full of more content than what the anime had in store, which rushed what would be the final battle of the series and filled the story with some... questionable things... But anyways: this is the perfect opportunity to revive Soul Eater in a brand new way. In the spirit of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Soul Eater should receive a new anime adaption that full adapts the original manga's material, from beginning to end, the way it was meant to be shown. Just imagine, if you will, all the great moments that the manga had that didn't make it into the original anime, and picture it coming to life in animated form, especially with the highest quality animation in our current age (speaking of that, I would think Bones would come back to animate this show, but hey, there might be a curveball thrown at us). So what do you think? Are you hopeful for a new Soul Eater anime in 2015?
