During Coachella 2022, a widely known music and arts festival, Utada Hikaru sang "Simple and Clean" and "Face My Fears" from the Kingdom Hearts series! The former is the full version of the track which players will identify from the first game's ending, while the latter is Kingdom Hearts III's opening theme! Hikaru also sang "First Love" and "Automatic!" You can view the live stream where Hikaru's performances occured below. This is a live stream, so a timestamp can not be linked. However, if a VOD is saved, we'll update this posted link with a timestamp of when Hikaru's performances begin. -

Hello fellow Kingdom Hearts fans! I'm Mree, a self-producing folktronica artist. As a huge fan of the series, I recently made a cover of "Passion / Sanctuary" from Kingdom Hearts II. Forgive me, for my Japanese is less than rusty. I also did a cover of "Simple and Clean" last year. So I know a lot of you are hyped to hear the opening song for Kingdom Hearts 3, as well as the game, and correct me if I'm wrong but I read somewhere that Utada is coming back to work on another song for KH3(and even if she's not, the question is still relevant)So if she does, or if she WOULD, bring out a new song for Kingdom Hearts 3, will/would it be as good as the first two? It would be really awesome to hear a new song of hers for the game, but at the same time will it be too hard for her new song to compete with the other two, especially My Sanctuary(as that seems to be really popular amongst KH players)?Tell me what you think!
