Hello there. First time here in the forums, I just thought of this and I thought this could be interesting for discussion. Enjoy ~ PD: this is a semi-translation from my tweet posts about this matter, as I am spanish, so please take that into consideration if you see any error or mispellings. As you probably have seen by now, it seems that Aqua has gone through some changes, and of course we fans of Kingdom Hearts have inmediatley thought that this means that now Aqua is now one of the Thirteen Darknesses that Xehanort will use in KH3. And it doesn't make any sense. Think about it, KH 0.2 ended literally stating how she wanted to be the light in the midst of shadows, how she wanted to be there for those that may fall into darkness. And now she 's just a vessel? Weird. And then I saw this: https://twitter.com/AmaziahYT/status/1006261973527547905 . According to this information from an IGN interview (yes, I know IGN is not exactly the best source of info for KH, but bear with me) to an actual Square Enix employee, it seems that whatever happened to Aqua has nothing to do with Xehanort, but with the Realm of Darkness itself. And you'll say: that's impossible, she has the yellow eyes and even the hair is turning gray! I began to think about what kind of connection this could have if it was true. And then a friend called me saying she was about to finish KH 0.2 and had som doubts with what she had saw on E3: How were Riku and Mickey supposed to enter the Realm of Darkness if the Door to Darkness was closed and it would not let them pass. I asked what she was talking about, and suddenly I remembered this: One person cannot enter, or either exit to one Realm to another if it or she has Light in his or her heart. I guess you can begin to see where I am getting at. But there's more: "Even if she was to succumb to darkness in order to travel freely through the RoD and the RoL, how explains the orange eyes, the darkened skin and the gray hair?" And as a famous meme would say, I'm gonna call a friend that knows one or two things about darkness, the Realm of Darkness, the Organization XIII, Xehanort itself, and darkened skin, orange eyes and maybe even grayhair. Yep, my friend is no other than Ansem the Wise, also known in it's "Dark Form" as DiZ (Darkness in Zero). When Ansem was banished to the Realm of Darkness, he survived by learning how to use the darkness and control it. Not by succumbing to it, but by using it in it's favour (Ansem Report Nº6 KH2). That way, he could hide from the Organization, travel in and out freely through the Realm of Darkness and Light, and also acquire a new "form" that consisted of a version of himself with darker skin, more clear orange eyes (he already had some orangy-red eyes, but you can see it becomes near xehanort type) and as he is wearing his bandages around his head, it's kinda impossible to know if he also has gray hair on this form. And now the two magical questions: A) Why is sh mad or surprised by Mickey's pressence. B) Why didn't she left the RoD then? Answer to A) Video editing is a key point here, as the situation tries to point that Aqua is a bad girl now, but of it this way: Riku and Mickey are in the black beach. Whatever attacks them prisons Mickey in that red swirl and breaks Riku's keyblade. Aqua appears from the Darkness, destroys whatever was attacking them, and then realizes he is Mickey. Answer to B) Aqua herself can explain this better than I do. And... that's it. What do you think?

[THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS! THIS TITLE IS A PROLOGUE TO KH3 AND IT CONNECTS TO BIRTH BY SLEEP AND THE FIRST GAME, I RECOMMEND YOU UNDERSTAND THOSE TITLES BEFORE YOU READ THIS! PLEASE READ AT CAUTION! I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH!) - - - - - - - - - - - - - [We follow Aqua in her time in the Realm of Darkness after sacrificing herself to save her friend. During her time there, she struggles to keep her hopes strong as she tries to find a way to escape and reunite with her friends. All the while, she faces what darkness presents to her, including her own demons.] - - - - - - - - - - I remember anticipating this title since it was first announced. It was also the time I learned the importance of other titles I felt I should play other games, especially Birth by Sleep. And thank goodness I did because I was able to understand the context. As for how I feel about the game, it is a huge improvement from birth by sleep in terms of gameplay. It plays a lot like KH2 in a way. This title, as mentioned, is a prologue to KH3. So, based on what gameplay they are going for, this means no more command decks this time around. However, you are pre-selected with certain abilities and magic spells. You cannot change your abilities, but you can change your placement with magic. You also rely on a new game mechanic called "situation commands". It works Iike how these limit commands worked in birth by sleep. Using the same attacks or spells creates an upgrade of a said spell or combo attack. Another interesting feature was added and it was the first time in the series you have customization. Whenever you accomplish some objectives, you are rewarded an item to your wardrobe. For example, fighting a secret boss will give you a crown or simply seeing the stars will give you wings. I remembered being so surprised by this feature when I saw their last trailer. The boss battles in this title are interesting. Especially ranging from the Darkside heartless to new heartless boss like Demon Tide (which has a very catchy final boss tune). As for heartless in general, seeing old and new in different areas in one world is still fun. Ranging from shadows to elemental heartless always a treat to see. I would also love to straight out say, surprising no none, the graphics of this title are so beautiful! Everything you see in the realm of darkness is what you might expect in a way. It is a place of loneliness and unsettling environments, despite how familiar these worlds are. Everything is distorted, and crystallized. It lacked bright colors and seeing some light give you hope and joy. The look of magic spells makes me appreciate the use of magic since I am normally not a magic based player. Seeing the how it also effects environment was a neat touch. Example, shooting fire not only harms the enemy, but it also scorches the ground. The ice magic I think is one of my favorite spells in this particular title. This is where I will talk about Aqua and the story of this title. I will warn you again this will contain spoilers of the game and even from birth by sleep and a previous title if you have not played it yet. - - - Seeing where we left off from the secret episode in birth by sleep, it is as such Aqua continuing her journey finding a way to escape the realm of darkness. Throughout her time there, she talks to herself. Her thoughts on certain things are worth pondering about. Which again, Kingdom Hearts never fails to give me pondering thoughts that I think Disney themselves have yet to let us learn about. That is opening my eyes on a different kind of perspective and respecting that sight. For example, in this particular title, Aqua ponders and grieves on the predicaments of the world she is in that was taken from darkness. She flashes back to the times she's visited these worlds and realizes how saddening it was to see a lot of the most simple things, you never give thought about, gone. From a dog waiting for their owner, a cat napping on their nook, even things like trees and flowers: every small thing you know are gone. This is telling me that we take the simple things in life for granted. The grief she had for these simple things really hit me when I played this. That moment with Aqua is one of my favorites in the entire series. Moving on, we see Aqua go through illusions that look like her friends and even her own demons she had to fight. The grief she went through and the yearning of escaping to see her friends again is always heartbreaking to see. A lot of what we had to see was just Aqua surviving and sadly we the players had to play along. Here is where I speak of a moment that truly connects....story wise anyway. We actually meet with Terra...at least what Aqua wanted to see. He is in a way an illusion that heard her in the darkness and finally gets to speak to her of Xehanort's attempt to locate Ventus. This moment was actually kinda fascinating because it caused a big whoop and had a really cool semi-action sequence. We now come to a really big reveal of this game. Aqua finally reunites with Mickey Mouse. Through him, we learn Aqua has been in the Realm of Darkness for 10 years, at least in the realm of light since the time in the RoD does not move (I want to mention how heartbreaking it was when Mickey had to reveal that fact....it almost was relatable to us as fans when waiting for KH3). After Aqua finally having a conversation with an actually living person that is not an illusion, it became a relief seeing a form of light that made the moment kinda sweet. This then makes Mickey your temporary party member. It is as such as we head to the next important moments. We have our big battle with swarming piles of heartless known as demon tide at the remains of Destiny Islands (meaning at this time, Sora was fighting Ansem seeker of Darkness in KH1). After that cool battle, we then open a door leading to something Mickey was looking for: a Keyblade from the dark realm known as the the Kingdom Key D. Finding it, an unexpected light takes them to a familiar site to the players: the other side of the door to Kingdom Hearts....sort of. This was where Mickey and Sora lock the door on both sides. During this sequence, we see Riku running towards the door to help close it. from here is where gets interesting. Aqua saves him (he not realizing till Mickey told him) from a tornado of heartless. As such, this resulted keeping Aqua trapped despite being close to escape. This truly shows how she can be incredibly selfless, which is hard to see that she had to face the consequences. Aqua urging Mickey to go without her, she sacrifices herself to remain in the RoD to finish off the swarm of heartless, promising herself she would guide those in the dark and one day return to Terra and Ventus. Leaving off with the ending of KH1, locking both sides of the door and the worlds are now restored. We then finish the segment with Mickey's perspective (the ending of dream drop distance). Upset of the being kept secret for so long, Riku is now determined to rescue Aqua. Both are tasked as such while Kairi goes off to train with Lea to learn the ways of the keyblade. Meanwhile, Sora returns from a secret mission of sorts. Yen Sid speaks to Sora his strength is once again sapped away from him due to the predicament in Dream Drop Distance. He is tasked to meet someone, a true hero, who also lost his strength and hot it back again. Sora, Donald, and Goofy are set off to their next destination leading to the beginning of kingdom hearts 3. There is an issue for some dealing with this title, in terms of the connection. There was a lot of retcon in this series, and I guess this title drew the line on concluding that statement. There was a moment when Mickey was attacked enough to take off his shirt. There is a reason why that was added. In Kingdom Hearts 1, we see Mickey at the end of the game, we see him in his ultra classic outfit (just the red pants). So, adding why he had no short into the continuity is a bit interesting but it lead to people saying that it is a sample of Nomura making things up as this story goes along. Another sample was with Aqua In the mix of it. She learns of these 2 boys saving the worlds during her time in the Realm of Darkness. We then remember her meeting with Ansem the Wise he talks about a boy with a Keyblade saving the worlds. She asked if it was Ven or Terra. This leaves a confusion on this. Why did she ask that? Mickey told her they are out of commission instead it was Sora and Riku. So, Aqua questioning this shows that it was not planned. That being said, personally, I don't actually have that problem. Yes, the shirt situation was a bit silly (heck I was only weirded out he had no shirt on which is strange because it was his classic look ROFL), but the story being connected to KH1 is pretty harmless in a way to me. I'm not saying that this connection was properly planned, but I say Union Cross takes the cake on being an example of making up things to connect and the ultra surprises so far. This was treated and respected better than, for example, the Michael Bay Transformers (even though I did enjoy them for the laughs now a days....and Optimus Prime, but that's a discussion for another day). - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I find this a really great edition to this series. While it was meant to be attached to KH3, the had to add something to Dream Drop Distance for their collection edition. I find this awesome since it is, in a way, a demo to KH3's new engine. I love the graphics and I love Aqua's development. I look forward to where this leads in KH3, especially with Aqua's predicaments hopefully coming to an end. Play this game if you are already further in the series. It will be worth it especially for KH3. ARTIST'S NOTES: This is kinda easy since I just used an already drawn Aqua and just added her to the Dark Margin. Drawing this area was bit simple too. So, sadly, I don't think I have much to add other than I am happy how I added to prints in the sand and the text of the title was the most proud I had for it. {{{. As of this post, this is it. That is the last of the posters...until I finish KH3. Yes, I actually have one more being none other than the big honcho itself. However, my thoughts will be raw and scrambled when doing a review and I do plan to make it a spoiler filled review. I will make sure to warn you when I get to it. Please look forward to it when that time comes.mi do not know how long it will take to finish the game. It will be however long it takes to have a fun experience. I will be off Social Media starting the day KH3 releases in Japan on the 25th, being the 24th for us. That being said, I hope you enjoyed the poster's I've done. I truly had a fun time doing them. 6 months worth of work and while my thoughts are not well constructed, I feel I've done my best to speak of them. Doing this project gave me a reason to play these games again, all l the more than enough to make me more excited for the promised day. I will see you all when I finish KH3 I also wish you luck with your choices on how you prepare for this upcoming important time of our fandom lives. Till then, May your hearts be your guiding key! }}} Please check out the other posters for this project: https://www.deviantart.com/mns-prime-21/gallery/67100545/Kingdom-Hearts-III-Countdown

Tagline: "Water...Lost, in Darkness...so too...is both Wind and Earth...hear the stories, of both Wind and Earth respectively, the stories...of Ventus and Terra." ???-"...Hmm...they should be located, right, around...HERE! AH HA! FOUND ONE OF THEM!" Looking over a very both shocking and surprising unconscious sleeping Ven, laying on the ground was a both strange and mysterious Rabbit like creature, of whom resembled a certain friend of Ventus' back within the Realm of Light. Theme Song: https://youtu.be/cYow0rJXhj4. Opening Description: The Opening Intro Video starts off with a Recap of Terra, Aqua and Ventus falling down their shared Dive to the Heart towards Ven's Station of Awakening, afterwards we see Ven, as a shooting star within the sky that soon abruptly lands within the Realm of Darkness, awaking from his long slumber, as Ventus is immediately attacked by Unversed that proceed to knock him back, even when after summoning his Keyblade, the Wayward Wind, seen gloating over Ventus is his Dark counterpart Vanitas unmasked, summoning his own Keyblade the Void Gear to prepare to destroy just exactly like when he tried during their very 1st encounter crossing Keyblades with one another, it is then saving Ventus from his demise was a silhouette of King Mickey revealed to actually be Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, wielding a Keyblade of Darkness called the "Shadow Chaser" ("Phantom Chaser" in Japanese), using his Dark Keyblade, Oswald heals Ven and together they both take on Vanitas, only for the scenery to suddenly change with Ven all by himself, seen looking at straight right in front of him the Lingering Will, in other-words, the mind of his very best friend and older brother like figure Terra, preparing to lift its Keyblade, the Ends of the Earth from the ground and suddenly engage Ventus in combat, as Ven tries to dissuade the animated armour but sadly to no avail whatsoever, he is knocked back by the Will and shatters into behind him what feels like a wall made of glass, afterwards, Ven enters another Dive to the Heart once more, as he falls, he sees down below his other very best friend and older sister like figure Aqua smiling weakly towards him, as she tries to reach out her towards him, only for Ven, upon coming into contact with Aqua's hand, causes her to fade away into particles of Light, leaving behind only a floating Heart in its place, Ven lands safely on the Station and holds the Heart within his hands, he accepts the Heart, as part of his own, as it enters his Body and he then lastly recalls a vision of himself floating around in Heart form being accepted into the Body of a young 4 year old Sora, finally, Ventus back in Human Body form awakes to find himself being cradled in the hands of Oswald... 0.2: Birth by Sleep-A Fragmentary Passage: Wind and Earth. Ven-"...Ah...ugh..." ???-"Keep still, your still dazed from entering this Realm." Ven-"...This...Realm?" suddenly, Ven recalls his final confrontation with Vanitas. Ven-"!? TERRA! AQUA! GAH!" ???-"See? i TOLD you! the more you fidget like that without having properly adjusted to the miasma of the "Wasteland" will cause you both severe and utter pain, i should know, i am this Realm's very 1st resident..." Ven-"...Huh? ...? ! !? M-MICKEY!?" ???-"Mickey? NO YOU BIG DOPE!" The rabbit like being smacks Ventus on the head. Ven-"OW! HEY! WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR!?" ???-"Oswald." Ven-"Huh?" ???-"My NAME is Oswald! Oswald..."sigh", the "lucky" rabbit, at your service." Ven-"...Os...wald? what a strange name." Oswald-"PFFF! not, as strange, as Ventus of all names!" Ven-"Hey wait, i don't recall ever telling you my name, how did you-" Oswald-"You didn't need to, the Realm of Memories told me your name." Ven-"...Huh? Realm of...Memories?" Oswald-"..."Sigh"...a bit slow on the uptake, aren't ya kid? welp, come on, get out of bed, there's much to be a showing you around these here parts..." Ventus-"Ah! hey! wait up!" Ventus chased after Oswald outside of his house to find that he was located in a completely utterly barren location of a Wasteland, hence the Realm's name. Ventus-"What!? where-where is this place!? just-WHAT IS THIS PLACE!?" Oswald smacks Ven on the head once more. Ven-"OW! hey! quit doing that! its getting REALLY annoying!" Oswald-"Ah shut up, no good complaining down here, why, its practically empty." Ventus-"!? Wait-what did you, just say!?" Oswald-"LIKE-I-SAID, THIS-PLACE-IS-PRACTICALLY-EMPTY, only lost beings and forgotten Memories end up here in the Wasteland..." Ven-"...The Wasteland?" Oswald-"Yeah, its where people who have been lost to Darkness yet for some both strange and mysterious reason haven't produced a Heartless and thus find themselves here, basically all the way out in the boonies and i quote on that: "not just in name only...", ahem, you see, its basically a place where the "special cases" of Human beings and/or any other types of beings end up in when they have met with a "Dark" fate or have become involved in any again and/or all ways relating to the Darkness whatsoever, so in other-words, YOU my friend, A-K-A Ventus, formally of the World known, as the Land of Departure are now officially a new resident of the Wasteland!" Oswald sarcastically claps his hands at a very fast speed. Oswald-"...Congratulations, no no, no need to thank me, i'm just doing my job is all-" Ventus-"WHAT!?!?" Oswald-"...Ow, that nearly burst my eardrums, there there, my poor rabbit ears..." said Oswald, softly stroking his giant rabbit ears, as Ven replies: Ven-"TELL ME! HOW DO I GET OUT OF HERE!?" Oswald-"...Uh, "buddy"? i hate to break it to ya but the main, primary fact is: you can't, many have tried...and have all failed, believe me, i know, i have been keeping track score of all of the records." Ventus-"Fine! then i'll just have to find a way on my own! i gotta get back! back to...Terra and Aqua! hup!" Ventus left Oswald behind in a hurry, as the latter was left behind, sighing to himself before deciding to chase after Ven for some reason, Ventus ran, as fast, as he could whilst thinking to himself the words: Ventus-"...Terra...Aqua...guys! please! be safe! i'm coming! i'm coming right now! i won't let them, i won't let them lay a single finger on either of you!" Ventus recalled facial images of both Master Xehanort and Vanitas inside of within his mind before doubling his running speed, running towards the edges of the far corners of the Wasteland, it was here, Ventus' journey into Darkness...had begun. Meanwhile... Seen at the Dark Meridian was a young man in a Black Coat, starring out to sea, saying to himself: ???-"...Aqua...Ven..." said the young man before deciding to take off his hood to very both shockingly and surprisingly reveal that he is none other then...Terra! Back to where both Ventus and Oswald were, Ventus ran to the outskirts of the Wasteland, trying to find a way out of its Realm, only to no avail. Ven-"...Huff...huff...huff...where-where is the exit around here? doesn't this place have an exit at all!?" Oswald-"Nope." Ven-"Ah! you again!" Oswald-"...Its Oswald kid, at any rate, you won't be able to find a way out of the Realm of the Wasteland, given currently the status your actual physical Body is in." Ven-"...Huh? what-what do you mean?" Oswald-"Have you forgotten? you gave up your Heart in order to save your friends, don't you remember? what happened?" Ventus-"! ...Ah! ...yeah, your right, now...now i remember...it was, Vanitas...he was or, STILL IS: my Dark side, i...i had to stop him, before he threatened to hurt both Terra and Aqua..." Oswald-"Hmm...so you do recall your Memories, interesting, at the very least, your able to make sense of what happened to you and how you got here, tell me, do you know...what happened, to your Heart? the part that left you i mean..." Ven-"...The part that...left me?" Oswald-"Ahh, i see, so you can't remember beyond what happened after defeating your Dark side, i guess that's understandable, your Heart basically went into a coma and in order to recuperate itself, it went into hiding, trying to find the nearest Light possible in order to survive, without that, you probably...wouldn't even be standing here." Ventus-"...Wait, i don't understand what your saying, what do you mean?" Oswald-"..."Sigh", to put it simply, beforehand, back in the Realm of Light, your Heart was already divided into two, your Light half stayed inside your original Body which is who is standing in front of me right now, the one called "Ventus" whilst your Dark half created an entirely new Body in order to sustain itself, the one you called "Vanitas", you see, upon the birth of Vanitas, his Heart's creation triggered a mutation that was able to create beings that feed off the negativity within peoples' Hearts, especially including Vanitas' own Heart, they were the Unversed, all of this which you already know, however, upon the destruction of both Vanitas and the Unversed when you had destroyed the Chi-Blade, born from the combined union of both your Hearts, reintegrated with one another but not fully whole, as one anymore, seeing, as how Vanitas became his very own existence, your fused Heart was damaged and a small fragment of its Light was lost to the Darkness of which had tried to take over the Light when the Chi-Blade was still in the process of being forged, that Light was divided into two halves, the half standing in front of me here, now whilst the other went somewhere else, unfortunately i do not where, all i know is that that half of your Heart's Light, namely in other-words, you yourself Ventus are now safe somewhere and it is because of that that the half that is standing in front of me now has ended up in the Realm of the Wasteland within the even bigger Realm of Memories, here where all kinds of Memories end up in, either locked safely away within the Light of people's Hearts or lost to the Darkness when people's Hearts become consumed by the Heartless and those people when they become Heartless are forgotten about, if so, in the latter case then they end up here in the Wasteland, where Memories have either been tied to Darkness or lost to its shadows...all very complex and confusing i know but still, in a way, it does make sense...sort of." Ventus-"...Heartless...what are, Heartless?" Oswald-"! Seriously? that's what you took from all that? oy vey, looks like we have a lot of work to do, anyways, what i want to explain to you now is absolutely vitally crucial towards the destiny of your Heart, if the two halves of its Light are to reunite and rejoin with one another, thus completing the fully reassembled formation of the Light being known, as Ventus..." Ventus-"Ven...tus." Oswald-"Yeah, you buddy, fully whole again once more-! uh oh! looks we've got trouble!" Heartless Shadows appear surrounding both Ventus and Oswald, preparing to bombard them with their massive amount of numbers, Oswald quickly summons his Keyblade, of which shocks Ventus: Ventus-"! A Keyblade!?" Oswald-"Yeah, sorry, no time for questions right about now, first, we've got to take care of these guys here first!" Ventus-"R-Right!" said Ventus, as he summoned his Keyblade, the Wayward Wind, together both Ventus and Oswald joined forces and had teamed up with one another against the Heartless Shadows, destroying them one by one until eventually, one Heartless Neoshadow appears, trying to surprise attack Ventus, because Ventus remembered having encountered Neoshadows before, he was taken aback by its sudden appearance and was frozen stiff, Oswald tries to help Ven but is too distracted by the Shadows in front of him, as it seemed like just about Ven was going to be struck down by the Neoshadow, suddenly, very shockingly and surprisingly coming to his rescue was the black coated Terra, wielding his Earthshaker Keyblade, destroying the Neoshadow. Oswald-"!?" Ventus-"!?!? T-T-T..." Terra-"..." Ventus-"TERRA!!!!" Terra-"...Terra?" Ventus-"Terra! its me! Ventus! i'm so glad your safe! your okay! nothing bad happened to you!" Terra-"..." Ventus-"I can't believe it, i'm not dreaming, am i? if so, either way, i'm so glad to see your safe Terra! but...what are you doing here? what's with the black coat? more importantly, where's Aqua!? do you know where she is!?" Terra-"...Aqua..." Ventus-"? ...Terra? what's wrong?" just then, Terra raises his Earthshaker Keyblade, pointing it dead straight towards Ventus. Ven-"!? T-Terra?" Terra-"...That's not...that's not my name, i'm not, Terra...i'm...!? GAH!" Terra suddenly drops the Earthshaker, holding his head in both hands, writhing in agony. Ventus-"TERRA!?!?" Ven tries to help Terra, only to get suddenly knocked back by him, as he quickly makes a sudden retreat through a Corridor of Darkness, leaving Ven behind with Oswald, as Ventus ponders his friend's sudden behaviour just then: Ven-"T-Terra..." Oswald-"..." Deciding that this was too much for Ven to bare at the moment, Oswald had decided to take Ventus back to his home, where there, they could figure out what to do next... (To be continued.).

In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, when referring to Maleficent, Vexen says "Don't be absurd. The witch is gone. She cannot return from the Realm of Darkness of her own volition." This means that after Sora destroyed Maleficent in the first Kingdom Hearts, she got sent to the Realm of Darkness. Why is this? Why did Maleficent get sent to the Realm of Darkness instead of just simply dying? Or did she just simply escape after the battle with Sora to the Realm of Darkness using a Corridor of Darkness? Also, why did she have to wait for someone (the three fairies) to remember her in order to come back when she could've just used a Corridor of Darkness?

So now we know straight from the source that Xehanort wanted to find Ven in the Chamber of Waking at Castle Oblivion. I say that because I remember some people speculating that Terra still lived in Xehanort and that Terra wanted to find Ven. But why would Xehanort want Ven? Did he want to use him as a vessel? It'd be much easier considering that he actually has no heart within him. I don't really see any other reason though. Besides, Xehanort didn't show any interest in Ven except for the creation of the X-Blade since trying to use him like he used Terra didn't turn out right.

In KH, if you ever look in the Journal/Reports or play with subtitles on, you'd know that "realm of darkness", "realm of light", "realm between", and "realm of sleep" are never capitalized, which always led me to believe that those are not the official names of the realms. That's just what all the characters call them. But, in 0.2BBS, the realm of darkness is called "Dark World", which I'm assuming is it's official name. Yen Sid, Aqua, Mickey, etc. still call it "realm of darkness", but in Reports in the game and marketing for the game and stuff, they call it "Dark World", so it definitely seems to be its official name. And in KHX, we learn about a realm called "Unchained". In Back Cover, we learn that this realm is made of "dreams", which obviously means its the realm of sleep. So, the realm of darkness' official name is "Dark World" and the realm of sleep's official name is "Unchained". What do you think the official names for the realm of light and the realm between are? "Light World" and "Between World"? lol

From the 0.2 opening, we can see, i think, 2 dark orbs representing Seekers of Darkness turning the Castle of Dreams into darkness. I was thinking that there might be a Seeker of Darkness within the Realm of Darkness and I think we might encounter one of them there. We might not see who it is because the person will wear a black coat to cover their face but we could possible see how he fight or what weapon they'll use. What do you guys think?

As we all know, HD 2.8 FCP is coming out this year. So-- Right now in February, I am so calling this. Fair warning. I might be right or wrong when I say this. I apologize for being incorrect (if I am wrong). If you guys remember at the end of the first game (Original or Final Mix), after Sora, Donald and Goofy defeat Ansem (*cough cough* Heartless Xehanort), the trio saw Mickey jumping up from the light, inside the door. This is where I am so going to call it. -sigh- Ok.... Somewhere in Fragmentary Passage, I guess involving Mickey and Aqua being in the Realm of Darkness together (If it happens...), it's going to connect to the VERY part where Sora, Donald, and Goofy, first sees the King jumping out from the light, taking the Kingdom Key D out, and getting ready to seal the door, with the help of Sora. I am totally calling it! Again. If I'm incorrect, I apologize.

Ansem The Wise as a character has always intrigued me, I have always found there to be more than meets the eye with him, anyway I was wondering what capacity he would appear in KH3? I was re-watching Blank Points earlier and the fact he mentions he is waiting for his birth by sleep suggests he will possibly return? I mean Aqua as far as we know is still with him in the Realm of Darkness, so it makes sense to rescue him too, surely? Also with regards to KH3D, the data version of Ansem tells Riku that his data is stored within Sora to rescue those we thought were lost, this has been such a vague topic, the data could be anything and as far as we know could be linked to the Key to Return Hearts, I know Ansem lost his memories, but I still feel as if he will return in some form in KH3. Thanks for reading

So with all the hype going on for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 -Final Chapter Prologue- going on, I decided to make a mock up version of what the menu or title screen may look like for the game. I previously uploaded an image to the gallery here and now its finished and ready for viewing. Keep in mind that since there hasn't been any official artwork released yet for the collection (because well it was just announced )that all the artwork is stock or specifically created in gimp, oh and this video was created in Adobe Premiere CC 2015 for anyone who's wondering. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkrVC2Abv3c&feature=youtu.be

I just watched HMK's analysis Video to the trailer and he said so wring very interesting, that Mickey confesses secrets about Aqua in the Realm of Darkness. Now this has got me wondering, what will actually happen to her in this game? I've got a feeling that this game will be very dark and honestly I'm not expecting things to improve for Aqua, otherwise why keep the detail secret?

This is my first forum post, be gentle. Listen. Here are my many questions. What is the deal with the Dark Margin? I get that Nobodies can kind of enter and leave as they please, but how did Sora and Riku leave so easily, and why can't Aqua and DiZ leave? Why didn't Sora think to grab DiZ and then perhaps find Aqua? If/when Aqua leaves how will she do so? Is it like Limbo in Inception? Just a random place that has undefined terms as far as coming and going? Let us get a fun discussion going.

Secret Bosses For Kingdom Hearts 3
Guest posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
Secret Bosses For Kingdom Hearts 3 Secret bosses have been a major staple within the Kingdom Hearts series and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be no different. Just like everything else about Kingdom Hearts, people are buzzing with ideas as to who should have the title of “secret boss”. After all, they are considered as the most difficult bosses of the game. So, here are my personal considerations for secret bosses just for Kingdom Hearts 3. Kefka (Final Fantasy 6) {Twilight Town/Cable Town} Kefka is the second most infamously famous antagonist of the Final Fantasy series only behind Sephiroth. As fantastic of a villain Kefka was: it was the Dissidia Final Fantasy series that literally gave voice to this character and ever since that debut, Final Fantasy fans have been completely amazed by Kefka’s multi-personality of insane and completely hilarious. Kefka now deserves to shine in the Kingdom Hearts series replacing Sephiroth as a dangerously powerful secret boss who is able to use a versatile of magical and physical attacks. I believe that he should be fought in Twilight Town because the sunrise and festive colour pallet of the town suits a joker like Kefka absolutely perfectly. Whether “Final Fantasy 6 Terra” should get involved with Kefka is completely up to the developers. Gilgamesh (Final Fantasy) {Destiny Islands} Gilgamesh is a very unique character in the Final Fantasy series. His speciality is that this very being is the only character to appear in more than one final fantasy after his debut from Final Fantasy 5 (excluding the Dissidia series). His speciality is being a sword collector and what better sword to collect than The Keyblade. The scenario could be Gilgamesh traveling as he usually does and then stumbles upon Sora. Being fascinated by the Keyblade, he’d tell Sora to battle him at an area of Destiny Islands. You battle him there (alone) and if you were to defeat him then there probably would be a scenario of him fleeing through a portal. I chose Destiny Islands for this secret boss because this would probably be a far more carefree battle than the other secret bosses mentioned. Garland (Final Fantasy 1) {Game Central Station} Unlike the previous Final Fantasy secret bosses that were mentioned, this secret boss will be entirely faithful to his original roots. Why you wonder? Because in Game Central Station (the world of Wreck-It Ralph), the place where you would end up battling him would be the same location as where you would battle him in his original game. I chose Game Central Station in particular because this is the very first Final Fantasy antagonist and seeing as Wreck-It Ralph is all about video games – this is the perfect tribute (of sorts) for the Final Fantasy franchise within Kingdom Hearts. Garland’s attire and battle style would obviously match that of his Dissidia appearance as that is the most memorable 3D appearance of him and his scenario with Sora… Square Enix can think of that stuff. Ultimecia (Final Fantasy 8) {???} You may think that Ultimecia is a suggestion completely out of the blue but she has far more relevance as a secret boss than all of the other Final Fantasy characters mentioned. As knowledgeable Kingdom Hearts fans are aware, Xehanort in his youth is able to time travel. So, it makes more than complete sense to place Ultimecia into Kingdom Hearts 3 as a secret boss to fit into that theme. People can already imagine Leon really getting involved in the cutscenes that feature Ultimecia which is another reason as to why she would be suited for Kingdom Hearts 3. Although, Square Enix would have to completely re-design her attire if she was to be suitable for a Disney game but if that gets sorted then it would be fantastic to go against another time-traveller! The Headless Horseman (The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad) {Radiant Garden} Now we move away from the Final Fantasy cameos and onto the Disney cameos. The Headless Horseman is the first Disney property that sprung into my mind when I thought of a secret boss. He has all the ingredients worthy of the title. He was from a feature that barely many people from the modern day know about (just like Julius from KH3D), him and his horse look very menacing and he has the theme of darkness cloaked all over him. I decided that Radiant Garden was the best location for him to be based upon because that world in particular is very royal, traditional and spaced out. The particular location in which The Headless Horseman is battled at in Radiant Garden would either be a secluded area outside or an entirely new area. If this happened, it would be very memorable! Queen Narissa (Enchanted) {The World That Never Was} Now, Enchanted is one of those worlds which would not be able to fit into Kingdom Hearts because the plot involves two worlds intertwining with each other. Alongside this, the plot of the original movie would be far too convoluted for the game. The main antagonist is an exception to this though as she is a mixture of The Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine and Maleficent and her final form is far too cool and unique to be forgotten about which is why she deserve the honour of being a secret boss. I chose The World That Never Was because the scenery is most equivalent to the movie she transforms in. She would make her stay at a new area and would want to get rid of The Princesses of Heart so she can be the fairest woman. You battle her and once it is over, you slay her and she’s gone for good. Ghostly Rhinoceros (James and The Giant Peach) {Realm Of Darkness} If you thought that Julius from The Runaway Brain short was absurd then wait till you see this antagonist. The ghostly rhinoceros is a villain from Disney's adaptation James and The Giant Peach. Just like Queen Narissa, his world translates into Kingdom Hearts terribly, however, placing him in the realm of darkness would be perfect. Why? because he is a manifestation of Darkness. Sora, Donald and Goofy/Aqua or one of the other protagonists may encounter him as an enemy who is trying to ram them down (as angry Rhinoceroses do). Because the Ghostly Rhinoceros is formed of dark clouds, they can be really creative and make him difficult by having random thunderstorms being struck down as attacks, or alternatively, make him like dark hide and have a first person perspective battle! The New Primary Antagonist A majority of the Kingdom Hearts games tend to foreshadow a Secret Boss that is the next major antagonist after the game that they are debuted in. Examples of this would be Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix being the primary antagonist for Kingdom Hearts 2 and Young Master Xehanort from Birth By Sleep being the primary antagonist for Dream Drop Distance. Kingdom Hearts 3 is bound to give us a reveal of the next big antagonist for the Kingdom Hearts series and out all of the suggestions that I have given; this is an extremely realistic guarantee to happen because Kingdom Hearts 3 will conclude the Xehanort Saga and this boss can start off events for the new KH. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this very extensive article. I really dug creates as an avid Disney fan to see what valuable characters was worthwhile to be placed within Kingdom Hearts 3. Obviously, it is up to the developers entirely to decide what characters should be placed within the next Kingdom Hearts series as bosses but hopefully one on this list will be rendered just for KH3. -
Please ignore the obvious typo in the title. DX Hope this hasn't already been made....I really hope not! But anyhoo, I can't stress how much of a spoiler this is. If you haven't played KH 2.5 BSS, or whatever, DON'T READ!!! Grrrrr... Okay! Okay, so I just watched the (secret) ending for 2.5 BSS, and we see Aqua walking through the Realm of Darkness…until suddenly coming across an enormous White House, and all of this loud choir music starts blaring, and you can’t help but wonder, what the heck was that?? Now, if my theory about Unicornis’s Mansion in Twilight Town is accurate, and he was indeed chased out of it by someone...where could he have gone to retreat? I mean if you think about it, what better place to hide than in the middle of Nowhere? Literally? Do you think he could be in this white castle? Or do you think it’s something else? I think that it could be many things, but I wanted some other opinions. Either way, I’m convinced that Aqua’s more than likely being taken care of right now, so perhaps we shouldn’t worry. She might even be learning more than the others are right now? Hmmm….

Hey there everyone, how's it going? Well then, as you all know, I got my copy of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix on December 2nd, and the first game I played was Birth By Sleep Final Mix. I unlocked the Secret Episode and loved it to bits, and well, ever since finishing the Secret Episode, I've been curious about one thing: While it's true that this Heartless's name was never revealed, due to the track played during the battle being called Hunter Of The Dark, I think we can assume that maybe that's its name? Anyways, this Heartless intrigued me since the first time I saw it. Might it appear again in Kingdom Hearts III, or was Birth By Sleep its one shot appearance? Something about this Heartless really makes me think that we haven't seen the last of it. Just looking at the darn thing makes you wonder what other type of dark beings the Realm Of Darkness is hiding...and it also reminds me of Kingdom Hearts II's Dark Thorn, although I'm not sure why. Anyways, what do you all make of this creature? Do you think it will appear again in Kingdom Hearts III? Or can this Heartless be dismissed as an insignificant one?

I have been thinking lately about Kairi's role in KH3 and so far I have been trying to set all the puzzles together and now I think I actually have come up with an likely suggestion. Ever since Kairi was living peacefully in Radiant Garden there was one day when she was attacked by the darkness trying to harm her but a miracle happened and a young woman named Aqua came to her rescue. Kairi full of light saw Aqua as someone she could trust and gave her flowers she had picked in the garden. Before Kairi left to go with her grandma Aqua put a magic spell on Kairi's necklace that whenever darkness would attack her she would find a light to keep her safe( sending her to the Destiny Islands). All this time Kairi haven't rumored Aqua but for sure Kairi does remember Aqua in her heart. Kairi doesn't know that Aqua is trapped in the Realm Of Darkness but her heart must sense that Aqua is in need of help. Im pretty sure that at the end of DDD when Kairi shows up at Yen Sid we see a very serious version of Kairi looking up like she's ready to do something to save someone which I predict is Aqua she's thinking of. The strong connection Kairi have with Aqua is that she's been having since she was four is her necklace she have never taken it off and been wearing it the whole series. I think Kairi will be the one to save Aqua from the Realm Of Darkness it all makes sense now they been sharing their connection through the necklace and having Kairi save Aqua will have a strong and emotional moment. Aqua once saved Kairi and now it's time for repayment Kairi knows what she has to do she will save Aqua from the Realm Of Darkness.
