  1. Multiple individual journalists have been claiming to have inside information about a Kingdom Hearts animated series being in the works for Disney+, Disney's subscription video on-demand streaming service. While a Kingdom Hearts TV show has been rumored to be in production multiple times in the past, with one even being canceled in the series's early years, this is the first time multiple reporters from a handful of popular Disney news sites are claiming this to be true at the same time. Jeremy Conrad, founder and editor-in-chief at MCU Cosmic, DCEU Mythic, and Star War Unity, with previous work history with IGN and in supporting roles in video games production, hinted at this earlier today with a cryptic tweet. Daniel Richtman, known as a Disney news insider, had also made a strange Kingdom Hearts tweet earlier, which he retweeted for emphasis. Emre Kaya, a film and TV reporter at The Cinema Spot and former writer for Geeks WorldWide (GWW), followed with a short Twitter thread, claiming that they have inside information about the matter. Skyler Shuler, editor-in-chief at The DisInsider, then reported that Jeremy's post was "true". Shuler also tweeted that the alleged new Kingdom Hearts series would not be live action. We will be keeping an eye on this rumour and provide relevant updates as it develops. What do you guys think – is there any truth to this rumor? Do you think we will be seeing a Kingdom Hearts (CG) animated series at last? Let us know in the comments! View full article

  3. More images of the alleged Monsters Inc world in Kingdom Hearts III have surfaced. If it's legit, who would make the best villain?
  4. In the January 2018 issue of PlayStation Official Magazine UK published back in December, and the February issue of PlayStation Official Magazine - Australia published recently, Kingdom Hearts III was featured in the Previews section. In its short blurb, it is claimed that the game is split between the perspectives of both Sora and Riku, and that a world based upon the Disney movie "Fantasia" will be present in the game. Other bits of information that we already knew about it were also stated, such as needing to stop Xehanort from starting another Keyblade War, a Toy Story world and a Tangled world being present, Drive Forms returning, wall-running, and more. You can view the Kingdom Hearts III section from the magazine in the album below: Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura has hinted at a second playable character in Kingdom Hearts III before, and has more recently confirmed a second playable character in the game, but it is currently unknown as to what character this is. The alleged claim of the game being split between the perspectives of Sora and Riku seems to hint at the fact that Riku could be the second playable character in Kingdom Hearts III. But, as this is only stated in PlayStation Official Magazine UK and PlayStation Official Magazine - Austrailia, and not stated by Square Enix or Tetsuya Nomura, or accompanied by any interview or direct statement, it is difficult to judge the validity of these statements. As for the comment about the Fantasia world, a Fantasia-themed world titled "Symphony of Sorcery" has been featured in the series before in the title "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance." These statements overall sound very similar to Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, as the game included both a Fantasia-themed world, as well as it being from the perspectives of both Sora and Riku. It's possible that they are confusing some elements of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance with Kingdom Hearts III. It's also possible that they are simply referring to The Mysterious Tower when they say that a Fantasia world will be in the game. We have contacted PlayStation Official Magazine UK for clarification. What are your thoughts on this Kingdom Hearts III excerpt from the January 2018 issue of PlayStation Official Magazine UK and the February 2018 issue of PlayStation Official Magazine - Australia? Do you think these statements hold any weight? Could they have had a misunderstanding or be mistaken? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

  6. The first mention of new in-game music for Kingdom Hearts III has been done by artist PHI from SERGE on January 2, 2018. They tweeted that they were in charge of remixing the area and battle music for a certain world in Kingdom Hearts III. You can view the tweet here and below. A full translation of the tweet has been provided by goldpanner. The tweet has not been liked, retweeted, or in any way referenced by an official source, so its legitimacy is still under doubt. Thanks to @aibo_ac7 on Twitter for the tip! UPDATE [Jan 10, 2018]: Upon investigating the person behind PHI from SERGE, known as Seiya Iwaoka, we have stumbled upon a photo of the cover art of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue that he posted on December 1, 2017, claiming to have worked on some tracks from the game. However, he does not seem to have been credited. You can view the post here and below, with a translation provided by KH13 staff member Mio-chan. It was only a month ago when Utada Teruzane, Utada Hikaru's father and manager, tweeted for fans to be positive regarding Utada Hikaru's involvement in Kingdom Hearts III. You can visit PHI for SERGE's YouTube channel here, SoundCloud here, Twitter account here, Facebook here, and Instagram here. UPDATE [Jan 20, 2018]: Both the tweet and the Instagram post have been deleted. PHI from SERGE has also deleted his Twitter account, YouTube channel, and PHI Instagram account (@phi_dj), stating "This account is not being used. Please observe." His statement can be seen here, translated by KH13 News Team member NihonScribe. Let us know your expectations of the soundtrack of Kingdom Hearts III!

  8. [WARNING: These screenshots have NOT been confirmed to be legitimate, so please take this only as a RUMOR]. Screenshots have recently surfaced on ResetEra, detailing a possible Monsters, Inc. world for Kingdom Hearts III. ResetEra user Wrestleman uploaded two screenshots that were shown to him on his Discord server by someone who got them from an unknown source who said they were taken from an FTP server. The screenshots show Sora, Donald, and Goofy in the lobby at the Scare Factory fighting what seems to be Unversed. Also present are Mike Wazowski and Sully, who appear to be party members for this world. The first screenshot features Sora and the others facing off against what appears to be a monster Unversed (notice the symbol on its head), along with a few Flood Unversed. Sora, Donald, and Goofy have a more monster appearance. Sora’s legs have a striped look with a tail and he has horns coming from his ears. Donald appears to be a blue gremlin with little wings. Goofy is green from head to toe with his eyes poking out. Sora, Donald, and Goofy appear to be using their default weapons for this fight. The HUD appears to be the default with Sora, Donald, and Goofy still in the regular Kingdom Hearts III outfits with no changes on their icons, however on Donald and Goofy’s icon, there is kanji written, meaning “Temporary," so the HUD may not be finished yet. The HUD also shows Mike and Sully’s icons in both their fight mode and in stationary mode. The second screenshot has Sora and the others standing around, most likely after the fight. This shot appears to be from a developer’s point of view, displaying information about the status of the game. You can view the translations below: (Special thanks to Katie Armstrong and Mio-chan for the translations.) You can view the screenshots below: Wrestleman also uploaded a screenshot of an alleged leak of a Frozen world in Kingdom Hearts III, but it was quickly deleted by Wrestleman as others brought it to his attention that it was just a screenshot from the movie. UPDATE [Dec. 15, 2017]: On closer inspection, the Sora model used for the HUD in this recent alleged Monsters, Inc. Kingdom Hearts III leak is the old HUD model from the Rock Troll Heartless screenshot from MAGIC 2017. It is not the updated HUD model from the new Kingdom Hearts III Orchestra and Toy Story trailers. UPDATE [Dec. 23, 2017]: New screenshots of the alleged Kingdom Hearts III Monsters, Inc. world leak have surfaced on Imgur. The new batch of screenshots includes an introduction of Boo and the door vault. There are also a few shots of debugging and comparisons with the Kingdom Shader. You can view them in the gallery below: Translations are available for a few of the screenshots, thanks to Mio-chan. You can see them below: What do you guys think? 10. On May 8, 2017, Twitter user José Álamo (@Jose_Strife), a reporter for the website Koi-nya, claimed to have apparent leaked information coming straight from the development team of Kingdom Hearts III (the Osaka Team). The information he provided, in a series of tweets, has been translated as follows. Please keep in mind that these are unconfirmed and lack solid evidence, and have therefore been classified as rumors until proven otherwise. He also added: Today, he tweeted some clarifications in English due to some people being confused by his statements because of mistranslations. KH13.com has contacted José Álamo for further clarifications. José Álamo’s rumors on Kingdom Hearts III go way back to January 30, 2017, where he stated the following: He added: “Obviously, this perfectionism from Nomura assures certain quality standards and the finished parts from the game look really good. In that sense we shouldn’t be worried. Slow, but safe.” On March 16, 2017, Álamo also talked about a cancelled presentation for Kingdom Hearts III, (which has also been classified as a rumor): José Álamo is known for having leaked a few things in the past, such as the reveal for The Last of Us Part II a week before its official announcement at PlayStation Experience 2016, and a new Fire Emblem game releasing for Nintendo Switch before the end of 2018. He also has some other unconfirmed rumors, such as a Pokémon announcement being delayed, a new Assassin’s Creed game announcement coming up on the week of May 15, 2017, a new Animal Crossing and a new Metroid (Prime-style) games coming to the Switch before the end of 2018, and Square Enix internally discussing The World Ends With You IP. It is also worth noting that in June 2016, there were some leaks in 4chan about the plot and overall game of Final Fantasy XV. Álamo stated that an inside source of his had confirmed that all those leaks were fake, but when the game released, all of those leaks turned out to be true. With all this in mind, we advise our readers to take what they just read with a grain of salt, as they are all rumors at this point in time that could eventually be proven wrong. *Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which was officially renamed in 2013 as Final Fantasy XV. **Square Enix

  12. http://www.nintendolife.com/forums/3ds/rumor_nintendo_direct_announcement_tomorrow#reply-13 Source: http://www.gonintendo.com/s/236371 I hope we get one. There's a lot of information that Nintendo could announce about upcoming games, and more about the New 3DS would be nice.
