Between the Road to Light-and the Road to Darkness... ...Neither suits me... I'm taking the middle road... ...Do you mean the Twilight Road to Nightfall? No...It's the Road to Dawn. These were the young man Riku's parting words to the both strange and mysterious Darkness in Zero (DiZ), as the young man set out with his travelling companion, the small Mouse King Mickey, in search...of a way to help Riku's friend Sora awake from slumbering Darkness after having lost the Chain of Memories that binds his Heart together and now, with the aid of the girl named Namine helping Riku along his journey of where he must head first, Riku begins his journey...his 1st step into the way that leads towards the dawn... After leaving DiZ behind and continuing onward with King Mickey, dusk started to turn into daylight and, as Riku felt the daylight upon his skin, he felt almost, as though he was being boiled by the rays of the sun, he then recalled the last words that the Seeker of Darkness, Ansem, had mentioned to Riku at the climax of their final battle, he said that he bestowed upon Riku his Dark powers and that, as long, as Riku had them, he would never truly be free of the Dark, nor the Seeker for that matter, in an attempt to first find a way to get rid of Ansem's influence over Riku's Heart to better help Sora, Namine telepathically instructs Riku that he should go with Mickey to the World that lays in the center of the Realm Between, the World of Twilight Town, it is here that both Light and Darkness meet and mix with one another and if by going to Twilight Town and bathing in the mixture of Light and Darkness, the Twilight would better help Riku, at the very least solve one step towards his problems then so be it, he and Mickey journeyed to Twilight Town. It was here in the World of Twilight that Riku and Mickey had both got a glimpse of the enemy that they would be confronting in the not too far away future, they were known, as the Nobodies and they namely appeared in the forms of Dusks, empty shells of Human beings' bodies that no longer resemble their respective Human counterparts' physical forms, Riku and Mickey saw the Nobodies engaging in a conflict with the Heartless, the Twilight beings' more Dark sided counterparts, the ones that Riku felt a strong affinity with, the Heartless acted like beasts, only using raw instinct to guide them in battle against their enemies and towards the Hearts that they ever so seek to capture, however, Nobodies that do not possess the ability to claim Hearts yet can think and plan for themselves show that they have a much better advantage against the mindless Heartless, although the Heartless were more in quantity, the Nobodies were vice versa, showing that they had more quality that made them shine within the Twilight Light of the town, after disposing of Shadows belonging to the Heartless, the Dusks had turned their attention towards both Riku and the king, decided to make them their next prey. Riku and Mickey however prepared themselves against these new foes of theirs, summoning their respective weapons, for Riku it was the sword Soul Eater and for Mickey it was the Keyblade Star Seeker, Riku and Mickey fought side by side against the Dusks and had eventually managed to win the battle, however, at the very end of the fight, Riku could sense the Dark figure lurking within his Heart's presence and had realized both then and there that Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness, was not so easily vanquished, Mickey worried for Riku's safety but Riku assured Mickey that he was fine and that the Mouse King shouldn't trouble himself over Riku, however, Mickey rebukes that, saying that it is because that he cares about Riku that he worries for him, Riku is shocked and then recalls a slight Memory within his Heart of how he once fought Sora at Hollow Bastion and of how he was saved by Mickey's friends both Donald and Goofy who in their own rights and Sora's vice versa all became with one another's friends...after recalling Goofy protecting Sora from a Darkness based attack of Riku's when he was corrupted by the Darkness beforehand, he now realizes upon seeing Mickey and sensing his concern for Riku that the two are slowly but very surely building a bond similar to that of Sora, Donald and Goofy's. Riku was...glad, glad to know that someone was still looking out for him, even after all that has happened currently up to this point, however, now was not the time to digress and both he and the king had to push on forwards, in order to seek answers that would help them both defeat Ansem finally once and for all and help Sora regain his proper Chain of Memories within his Heart after losing the links that make up the chain thanks to the machinations of an evil organization that had plotted to use both Sora and Riku for their own diabolical benefits, to learn and know more about the Nobodies and the organization that had tried to manipulate Riku, Mickey decides that it was time for Riku to meet one wiser then Mickey himself and that was his master Yen Sid, the mysterious sorcerer, it turns out that the sorcerer's mysterious tower and this town of Twilight were somehow interlinked with one another and that in order to find out more about what this certain interlink was, Riku and Mickey both split up, as Riku made his way towards the train station of Twilight Town, it was here that he was attacked by more Nobodies, only for them to be suddenly dispatched by a both strange and mysterious individual that Riku does not recognize, his name is Jet and that he has come to help Riku but what sort of help does he intend to offer? Riku at this point was questioning himself but was determined to continue pushing forward despite his internal struggles, not just with the Darkness and its Seeker but also...with himself, as well, Riku's journey...had only just begun. Verse II: Jet and Pitch Black. Well, well, WELL...it looks like, you still got some fight left in you. said Jet towards Riku, as he replied: Who are you? where did you come from? what are you-HUH!?!? just then, Riku took a good closer look at Jet and very shockingly, he resembled a younger Ansem, Riku with Soul Eater in hand proceeded to confront Jet, asking him: ARE YOU...ANSEM!?!? said Riku, shouting out towards Jet, Jet merely picked out dandruff from his ear whilst listening to Riku before then replying with the words: ...Maaan, you are SO annoying! honestly, i don't even understand WHY i was handed to you! said Jet, Riku was then perplexed by Jet's words, asking him again: Huh? handed? what are you-geh!? said Riku, as he then noticed what looked like a doorway to the innermost Darkness open up in front of him and appearing from it was another young Ansem look a like, although he was a bit older then Jet and he proceeded to say to him: ...Jet, let's go, too many of those husks are crawling about. said the other Ansem look a like, as Jet then identified the slightly older look a like, as Pitch, saying to him in reply: I believe the term your looking for Pitch is actually Dusks, not Husks...tch, sigh...whatever, fine... said Jet, as he rubbed the back of his head whilst Pitch merely crossed his arms, Riku didn't understand anything of what was going on at all and before he could stop both Jet and Pitch from leaving, the former raised his hand upwards to Riku, catching him off guard and saying towards him: Hey, Riku was it? grow stronger for us, we'll need you at full capacity and strength, that is...if you want to master the true Darkness within you. said Jet before he and Pitch then left without Riku being able to stop them in time, as he said to himself the words: Ah, wait! ...the true...Darkness? what does he mean? i already...fought and defeated Ansem...i know however, that...i can still feel his presence within my Heart, still... said Riku, wondering if the question of the true Darkness and Ansem were both one in the very same. Sunset started to fall and Mickey reunited with Riku at the station, it was here that the two went over what they had learned from being separated, as Mickey reveals he didn't see too much of anything in particular detail, only that the white creatures were roaming the town like uncontrollable flies and when it had met their fancy, they would pounce and strike on the Hearts of those that are merely just innocent people involved in no way whatsoever to what was really going on within the shadows, Mickey had used his original Keyblade from the Realm of Light, the Star Seeker to strike them down and then straight afterwards disappear from people's eye-view, however...he couldn't still feel help but be bothered by the white creatures and was hoping that once upon finding master Yen Sid would all of both his and Riku's questions be answered, Riku, although bothered by everything had then seen a ice cream vendor not too far away from the train station just about ready to close up shop, acting on instinct, he went to the vendor and bought himself and Mickey Twilight Town's local delicacy of ice cream, Sea Salt flavoured ice cream, Riku then pointed towards Twilight Town's train station clock tower and it was there that both he and Mickey had decided to eat ice cream whilst watching the moon within the distance of Twilight Town starting to arise, as the sun started to fell into the great beyond below. Mickey and Riku both had made their equal comments about the Sea Salt Ice Cream, as Mickey upon eating it felt it was salty but sweet but when Riku tasted it, he though that it was outright disgusting, wondering who would even want to eat, better yet, come up with a flavour for a ice cream such, as this? Mickey laughed at Riku trying to crack a joke but realized he was only pretending to joke, in order to cover up his true concerns of what is truly bothering Riku, one point being especially, who were the two that resembled younger versions of the Seeker of Darkness that Riku had encountered and what did they want with him? Mickey tried to ease the slight tension a little by commenting about the moon not too far away from the view of the clock tower, he said to Riku that Twilight Town rarely ever turns to moonlight, even when it is nighttime, because of being a World that is more close to the Light then the Darkness, Twilight Town rarely ever has nightfall, even when it is time for people to sleep and thus, according to history, they built the clock tower to remind them when it was time to go to sleep and when to wake up, Riku then says to Mickey after pausing for a moment, replying to him by saying: ...Do you think, do you think the moon's presence is signified...by MY presence? ... said Riku, looking at everything despondently, Mickey was saddened that he had failed to cheer Riku up, instead apparently having only made things worse, it was then that Riku began to recall visual images of Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness inside of his mind whilst also recalling the physical appearances of both Jet and Pitch resembling Ansem, finally, a third unknown visual image popped into his mind, it was of a person in a Black Coat the very same, as the Organization's and both Riku and Mickey's, this person very shockingly resembled yet another Ansem look a like, however, unlike both Jet and Pitch, this look a like had more fairer tanned skin then both them and the original Ansem, also, his hair was more spiked out, giving him his own appearance compared to that of the others. Riku lastly saw a Memory play inside his head, it was of two people in Black Coats by a Dark seaside talking to each other, one was younger then the other and he was trying to ask the taller person in the Black Coat what his name was, the taller person merely then got up from upon the rock he was sitting on and had then whispered something to the younger person that Riku had heard that he couldn't ever possibly forget and that was: SORA. Riku called out Sora's name, as he then nearly fell from sitting atop the clock tower, only to be saved by Mickey who managed to pull him back just in time, Mickey had asked Riku what was wrong and why did he especially call out Sora's name, Riku merely shrugged it off, saying that it was nothing and that both he and Mickey should now try to find places to sleep for the night because come first dawn tomorrow, the two will set out to finally meet Mickey's master Yen Sid, Mickey, although greatly concerned nevertheless complied and thus it was, nightfall had come to Twilight Town and the Dusk remnants of Dawn would follow not too far behind both Riku and the king, as they still continued journeying forth, ever seeking to find more answers. Light and Dark, back to back, Riku had wondered whilst sleeping inside of his dreams if this possibility was really true or not, could he really live alongside the Light with his Darkness in tune with it? Riku had awoken from where both he and Mickey were sleeping in a forest on the outskirts of Twilight Town and upon awaking, Mickey pointed towards Riku the location of a both strange and mysterious old mansion not too far away from them just nearby, Mickey laments that they weren't able to spot it before and if they did, they would have had a place to stay for the night previously, however...Riku corrects Mickey, revealing to him that it wasn't just pure coincidence that they couldn't find the mansion but rather, Darkness of some kind had been blocking their eyesight and their views went beyond that of the mansion, thus unable to see for what was truly there right in front of them... Riku and Mickey had decided to check the old mansion out and inside, the two met with Namine all of a sudden appearing before them within an all white room, it was here that she was communicating with them through an illusion of Light and that she wasn't there physically, instead, she had created a Memory recording of herself here in the mansion to await both Riku and Mickey's arrival to inform them of something whilst the real Namine and DiZ were currently working together to restore Sora's Chain of Memories. The Namine projection revealed to Riku that by now he must of received a vision, a vision of him seeing a man that looked identical to the one that lurks within Riku's Heart, Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness, Namine reveals that man that resembles Ansem to be known, as Xemnas and that he was the one responsible for everything that happened at Castle Oblivion...the place where Sora had lost all of his Memories. Namine also reveals to Riku that when his body was taken over by Ansem to be used to seek out the Door to Darkness that would lead him to the Heart of all Worlds, Kingdom Hearts, it was during this time that Sora had met Xemnas at the castle of Hollow Bastion where the evil fairy witch Maleficent had met her end, Sora confronted Xemnas in battle after being provoked and at first thinking that he had won against Xemnas, Xemnas however proved that he was only playacting with Sora in order to test his strength, the reason for this being is currently unknown, however...Namine suspects just one thing about Xemnas and that is just like Ansem haunts Riku, Xemnas will most likely try to haunt Sora within the not too far away future once Sora's Memories have been fully restored and even if Sora has grown stronger by then, it is most likely that he will still need the help of Riku and the others to confront and stop Xemnas. Xemnas had ordered his minions of the Organization to lure Sora to Castle Oblivion in the hopes of controlling him, to use his Keyblade for whatever sinister plots that the Organization have in mind, Namine knows naught about Xemnas' plans, only that there were rebels within the Organization that were plotting to use Xemnas' original plan to turn Sora against him and those loyal to Xemnas, Namine was to control Sora and let him loose like a hound on Xemnas by the Organization's traitors, however, it was thanks to the help of one of the supposed traitors that Sora broke free from both Namine and especially the traitors' control, allowing Sora to take down the traitorous leader and begin the restoration process of sleeping to restore the Chain of Memories inside his Heart, Namine lastly reveals that the process will take about a year long exactly at best for the Memories to fully return and during that time, Xemnas may try to find Sora and use him once more or maybe even worse, it is up to Riku and the king to stop that from happening, Riku, now having heard everything from Namine's projection agrees and that along with king Mickey, the two decide to leave the mansion in search of master Yen Sid, who could help better their attempts at helping Sora awaken from the sleep of exactly one whole year. Riku and Mickey journey towards the train station once more and it is this time around that they are attacked by another kind of Nobody altogether known, as a Twilight Thorn, the Twilight Thorn tries to destroy both Riku and Mickey but using the sheer brilliance of power, teamwork and friendship combined, Riku combining his Darkness with Mickey's Light were able to end the Twilight being, allowing them to continue forth onward...however, it was then that both strangely and mysteriously from out of nowhere, Jet had reappeared towards Riku, Mickey could not see him and Jet had begun speaking to Riku, saying to him the words: "...Such a shame, Twilight falls into nightfall...i mean really, what-a-shame..." said Jet, mocking the deceased Twilight Thorn, as Riku replied: "...Look, if your here to play mind games with me, i've had just about enough, Maleficent, Ansem, the Organization...you all say the exact same things to me about Darkness, well guess what? i...walk the road, to dawn...Darkness is neither my friend, nor is it my foe, only those lurking within the Darkness and creeping around inside of it are my true enemy, if you are one of those creeping around, save me the trouble...and let's fight here and now." said Riku, Jet merely clapped his hands, impressed by Riku's response, saying towards him the words: "Excellent! i expected nothing less from the hero of Darkness, still...you have a long way to go if you want to fight both Ansem and Xemnas, if you truly want to save Sora, unlock the untapped potential within and then...you can save your friend." said Jet, this cause Riku by surprised, wondering what exactly did Jet mean by that, suddenly, Jet had vanished into thin air, leaving naught a trace of him, it seems, as though he was encouraging Riku to fight both Ansem and Xemnas, even though Jet himself remarkably resembled the former, as Mickey asks what just happened with Riku all of a sudden, Riku reveals that he was merely...having a talk with the Darkness inside of him and that it was about time for both him and the king to continue pressing onward, who knows when more Heartless and those white creatures would start attacking once again, the king, although hesitant, complied with Riku's quest and so, the two had entered the train station, planning to depart to locations outside the town unknown within the Realm Between. At the train station, Riku and Mickey find the train that they are looking for by its unusual characteristics and just, as they are about to continue onward, Riku accidentally bumps into a young girl accompanied by two other boys, they introduce themselves to Riku whilst Mickey went on ahead of him, thereby the three not noticing the king's presence, having only just passed him and due to his short size, it is easy for a person to just miss him almost completely and entirely, digressing, the three youths friendly introduce themselves to Riku, their names are Olette, Pence and Hayner, although saying that all three of the youths friendly introduce themselves to Riku is a lie, Hayner appears to have a bit of an attitude around Riku, especially since he accidentally knocked down Olette, Riku apologizes for knocking down Olette and helps her up which causes her to blush in return before she and Pence friendly reveal their names to Riku whilst Hayner begrudgingly reveals his name in his own manner, upon seeing the three, Riku is instantly reminded of himself through Hayner, Sora through Pence and Kairi through Olette, he laughed at this a little which Hayner throught Riku was looking down on the three and thus, immediately picks a fight with him, which both Pence and Olette try to avoid, trying to talk Hayner out of it but to no avail, instead, Riku encourages and accepts Hayner's challenge, wanting to take him on and see for Riku himself what it's like to see "himself" through his own eyes... The two agree to have a fight outside the station with Riku asking how would the conditions of the duel be met? Hayner was confused by what Riku meant at first before deciding to toss him a bat of some kind, Pence revealed to Riku that what he was holding was called a Struggle bat and that everyone here in Twilight Town celebrate the sport that is known, as Struggle, the rules are simple, combatants must both wear Struggle suits with orbs attached to them, over 200 small orbs precisely and whoever uses their Struggle bat to knock off their opponent's orbs and claim either most of them before time runs out or all of them exactly will the winner be declared the victor of the Struggle, Pence however tells Riku that its best to give up now, since Hayner is considered the 2nd best Struggler in all of Twilight Town but Olette encourages Riku not to give in to Pence's words and upon holding both of his hands does Olette say that she will lend Riku her strength during this fight, Riku blushes slightly upon Olette holding his hands, immediately causing him to turn his hands away from Olette's, blushing slightly but strongly, as well which causes Olette to giggle, Hayner asks the two are they done having their lovers' moment and if both Riku and he are ready to Struggle? Comically, just before the fight starts...Riku has one question, just-one-question...why does he have to wear a ridiculous monkey suit with all of these orbs on him? even on-top of his head? he looks like an electric man gone to a dress up party just to get mocked at for, Hayner is confused by Riku's reaction, asking him if he has never seen Struggle before? Riku replies of course he hasn't! he's never been off the islands before-just then, Riku stopped talking before he could finish his sentence, remembering that the World balance must be kept in order and the Worlds must not know about one another's existence...Hayner overheard Riku say islands? what islands? there are no islands on the outskirts of here in Twilight Town, you must have been blinded by the sunset of the town too many times to remember, what kind of person are you? someone who loves the Light? just then, Riku went dead silent upon hearing Hayner's words, causing Olette to worry, as she has developed a sort of instant infatuation with Riku upon meeting him and socializing with him, Pence had then decided to declare the Struggle to begin and without warning, Hayner struck the first blow without Riku noticing, having been caught up in a daze by Hayner's comment a moment earlier, some of Riku's orbs were stolen from him, causing him to rethink and get his head back into the game and proceed to fight Hayner, as watching from above Twilight Town's clock tower right down below at the Struggle going on were both Jet and Pitch, the former eating Sea Salt Ice Cream whilst watching and commenting on the ice cream's taste, saying how disgustingly it tasted, the same comment Riku had made about the ice cream previously. Riku and Hayner fought on equal terms, as though Riku was clearly more powerful and superior in strength then Hayner was, he wanted a sort of fair fight with Hayner without unleashing Riku's true strength that could very well possibly hurt Hayner in the process, however, the latter had noticed this and had called out to Riku, saying the words: "Come on! is that all you got!? i thought you were stronger then THIS!" said Hayner, as he knocked back Riku and, as he tried to regain his balance after being shaken a bit by Hayner's attack, it was just then that Riku recalled something within his head, the words that Hayner just spoke to Riku...they were almost exactly the same, as Riku's that he used to say to Sora whenever they would spar with wooden swords on the Destiny Islands, Riku in his head in slow motion thought about this for a second, did this mean that Namine's restoration of Sora's Memories had finally begun? if so...Riku had no time to dawdle, despite wanting to see "himself" through Hayner, Riku realized that he must now press on, for Sora's sake and thus, he unleashed a bit of his true strength within and with one single horizontal strike aimed at Hayner did Riku proceed to knock him out and take all of his orbs that were laying around Hayner, as he laid knocked out cold on the ground for a few seconds, Pence and Olette looked on so shocked that the former's jaw dropped at seeing Hayner having been defeated just like that within a single instance, Olette saw Hayner laying on the ground before looking towards Riku, she could sense something in the air that was emitting all around Riku's body but couldn't quite tell what it was, nevertheless, despite all this, Pence after pausing for a moment had declared Riku the victor of the Struggle, Hayner woke up and Riku immediately apologized towards him, saying that he only used enough strength to win the Struggle against Hayner without having to completely knock him unconscious, Hayner upon hearing this was greatly and deeply annoyed with Riku, he tried to pick a physical fight with Riku, saying to him, wanting to know why did Riku hold back during the Struggle if Riku was THAT good!? Hayner declared that Riku was even better then Hayner's rival in Twilight Town named Seifer, the number one Struggler in all of the town, if Riku was that good, why did he hold back at all to begin with!? Hayner couldn't just understand whatsoever, as he was flabbergasted by Riku's decision to hold back his true strength at all, he grabbed Riku by his Black Coat's collar and had tried to punch Riku, feeling, as though, the white haired youth was looking down upon him, Pence managed to hold Hayner back however before he could slug Riku right in the face, Pence said to Hayner that Riku must of had his reasons for holding back but that Hayner didn't care about any excuses for he believes that when a Struggler enters the ring must they always use their 100% percent strength from the get go! no-exceptions! to Hayner, it would be seen, as a disgrace to the both fellow and respective Struggler that each other is facing within the Struggle itself and then what would be the point? what would be the point to Struggle at all!? after hearing Hayner's words and the both determination and conviction within them did Riku say to Pence that it was alright, to let Hayner go and let Riku himself be punched, after all, it was what Riku believes that he deserves for holding back against a respective opponent such, as Hayner himself, after hearing this, Hayner broke free of Pence's grip and proceeded to try and punch Riku straight within his face, only to stopped short however, as shocking Riku greatly, appearing in-between both him and Hayner was Olette! standing up for Riku, Hayner stopped short upon seeing that Olette was standing up for Riku, the question was why he asked her, Olette replied: "Hayner, i'm sure you must have felt frustrated in the past when Seifer purposely held back against you and you found out afterwards, especially when it came to last year's Struggle tournament but still...i think, that Riku is different! if he truly wanted to hold back against you, don't you think he would have done so throughout all of the match? right at the very end, Riku showed a bit of his true strength against you and to me, that proves that Riku wasn't looking down on you, rather, he had his reasons and that he was looking out for you! i know that you normally don't like that when people do those kind of things for you but nevertheless, i believe...i believe, in Riku!" said Olette, Riku quietly said her name and after hearing her words, Hayner pondered for a moment before deciding to come a begrudging judgement, he told Riku the words: "...Fine, listen up! Riku or whatever your name is, i...i truthfully and honestly don't like the stunt you pulled with me during the Struggle but...Olette is speaking up for you and if she is speaking up for you then fine, i'll relent, just this once, however, i expect to see you next time, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, heck, maybe not even in the next Struggle tournament but next time! next time we'll see each other in the ring and whoever loses has to buy ice cream for the winner, deal!?" said Hayner, making a sworn promise with Riku, upon hearing this, Riku after remaining silent for a few seconds proceeded to nod his head and shake Hayner's hand, also promising that they will one day meet each other within the real Struggle ring and when they do, neither will hold back their true strength, Riku agrees to this, pleasing both Pence and Olette, especially the latter. A few minutes later, Riku declares that he must leave now, as his train will be departing, as Riku is just about to leave, Olette goes up towards him, asking him when will he be back? Xigbar: "...So the true hero pointed you in the direction of a World he heard rumors about, about a World where other "true heroes" seemingly existed...As If Sora, Roxas, this World is a hoax and, as far, as the Organization is concerned, it holds no true value for us whatsoever." Sora: "Maybe but still, we might find the VII Guardians of Light we're looking for here in this World and once we join forces we'll-" Xigbar: "You'll what? have high hopes of ever defeating US? please...keep dreaming, kiddo." Sora uses Athletic Flow against floating buildings being held up in the sky, he wields a Keyblade that bares motifs from the Avengers members previously aforementioned, he can transform the Keyblade into a giant cannon and use it to shoot Iron Man's signature Unibeam attack straight at all the enemies in front, completely annihilating them without a trace. Ultron: "...That Key, i've never seen it before, is it another one of Stark's latest weapons?" Sora: "Huh!? a talking robot!? who are you!? and who is...Stark?" Sora jumps on-top of Goofy with Donald in turn jumping on-top of Sora, acting, as a lightning rod, destroying all Ultron Heartless in sight by sending down multiple rays of lightning with his staff. Captain America: "A...kid!? what are you doing on the front-lines!? its way too dangerous! stand back!" Sora: "Sorry, no can do mister! these are Heartless and its our job to stop them!" Captain America: "What the?" Iron Man: "Hold on Cap, i think the kid might be on to something." Captain America: "Tony! what are you!?" Iron Man: "Hey kid, got a name?" Sora: "Huh? oh, i'm Sora, this is Donald and that's Goofy." Iron Man: "...I see, hey, that weapon of yours, can i see it?" Sora: "...Uh...something tells me that i shouldn't." Sora fights alongside both Thor and Hulk without Donald and Goofy, Thor channels electricity through his hammer which he then directs at Sora's Keyblade of whom uses it to shoot a laser beam at all the Ultron Heartless. Sora is seen diving down in the middle of a hole surrounded by floating buildings and landing on-top of the Hulk's shoulder, together, Sora commands Hulk to charge through all the Ultron Heartless, using his bare fists to Smash his way through. Ultron: "That Keyblade of yours...i want it, hand it over and i may just spare your life, for a Human being that is." Sora: "No way, the Keyblade...isn't a tool, to hurt others with! i'll stop you and then, i'll become an Avenger!" Ultron: "Really? and what is it that you'll be "Avenging", boy?" Sora: "...My friends, i'll Avenge the sadness and tears brought about...by misery!" Sora now fights with both Iron Man and Captain America against Ultron sitting upon a throne of which multiple circuits are plugged into his back, Sora jumps on the Captain's signature Shield, as he throws it and with Sora on-top of it, it causes itself to spin, allowing Sora to use the Shield like it was a spinning top, spinning back and forth, attacking the enemy whilst holding his Keyblade with both hands still in motion until finally when the spinning reaches its end, Sora performs a golf like pose and swings his Keyblade directly at Ultron, hitting him with a small ball of energy that erupts upon impact. Xigbar: "I wonder, just how many Hearts do you think need saving right about now, i mean, are you even sure that you have the time to find these so called VII Guardians of Light? Upon Sora's final defeat of Xehanort, he had obtained enlightenment and had finally obtained that which he had long been searching for all his life but had never revealed to Ria what exactly what it was that Sora had found, instead he had only left her a clue to follow should she herself one day go out into the Worlds and explore them for herself, the clue...was simply known, as: "Reconnect. Kingdom Hearts". What this had meant, Ria did not have a clue whatsoever, growing up alongside Dawn who studied fencing by using a toy sword, as Ria herself preferred sketching on the sandy beach of the island that their parents used to hang out on when they were kids themselves, Ria had decided at the age of 15 that she would finally solve the riddle of the phrase Sora told her, even if that meant going against both him and Kairi's wishes and exploring the outside World, Dawn, wanting to protect Ria accompanies her and together, they begin their journey across the Worlds, just like their predecessors before them. Their journey will take them way back to the ancient past of the era after the Keyblade War, where they will discover secrets throughout history that had occurred after that point in time, for example, they will learn the secret truth behind the Dandelion members that were chosen to become the new Union Foretellers, the chosen ones being Ventus, Lauriam, Ephemer, Skuld, Brain and Strelitzia, of how they were able to reincarnate by the time Master Xehanort had begun his reign of terror upon the entire universe itself using the Master of Masters' No Name Keyblade. Accompanying both Ria and Dawn is the Former Captain of the Royal Guard of the Disney Kingdom Goofy Goof's son Max Goof who has just joined the royal army, as its latest recruit upon graduating from college, Max wanting to be heroic just like his father but also make a legacy for himself joins both Ria and Dawn, knowing that they too want the same thing, wanting to make stories of their very own to tell others rather then live in the shadows of their parents. Whilst journeying, Ria, Dawn and Max will confront a whole all brand new enemy, none the likes of which Sora, Riku, Roxas, Ventus, Terra and Aqua have encountered before, a new threat that "threatens" to become even more dangerous then the Heartless, the Nobodies, the Unversed and the Dream Eaters ever were, even if all combined into one, this new threat is led by a enigmatic figure wearing the black coat of the former Organization XIII of whom keeps his true identity a secret, only revealing that his name is "Arcobaleno" and that he leads the new threat, the monstrous beings called "Kolours" that appear in 7 different forms of the 7 Colours that make up the rainbow itself. Arcobaleno or "Arco" for short reveals that he is apparently neither friend nor foe, however, he refuses to let Ria, Dawn and Max unlock the mysteries of the ancient past connected to the Keyblade and is attempting to do all that he can to both stand in their way and stop them, the stage is set, all the pieces are in place and now, let us journey into the story of the future that will guide us all the way back to the past of times long since gone by, for this is: "Chi, -Hidden Window, Possible Future-...". Personality: The latest new recruit of the royal army of the Disney kingdom, Max is look down upon and ostracized by his peers because of the legacy his father Goofy left behind in previously helping Sora save the universe from Xehanort's schemes, wanting to prove himself and make a legend of his very own, upon being posted in the World of "Chance Town", it is here that he meets both Ria and Dawn and is allowed by them to travel alongside them, the more the merrier, he and Dawn sometimes usually butt heads over different opinions, such, as which route to take or which World to go to and/or be cautious of for examples, Max studied the arts of the Dragoon knights that were told in fables of the Disney kingdom and in recent years, upon the kingdom rediscovering the old arts and techniques of the Dragoons, Max took up a lance and started practicing day in and day out, one straight after another, as his father studied the art of defense, Max has now studied the art of offense and has proven to be a crucial ally in both Ria and Dawn's journey, having now become a loyal trio of friends that would never, ever abandon each other, no matter how things get too grim, Max is the reasonable conscience of the group, balancing Ria's shyness with Dawn's laid back attitude, the name of Max's lance is called the "Sky-Piercer" and is said to pierce the heavens themselves. Personality: A both strange and mysterious individual to be sure, he wears the black coat and hood of the fallen Organization XIII and uses Corridors of Darkness to travel between other Worlds, at times he tries to stop Ria and the others' quest by sending his "Colorful" minions, the Kolours to attack the Worlds and the people living on them, to prevent Ria from studying the ancient history of the era that took place after the Keyblade War, no one knows who Arco truly looks like, only that when he appears to others, he seems to have a cheerful and sparky personality similar to Dawn's, however when the situation calls for and demands it, he changes into a completely different and serious person, using powers of Darkness to fight against Ria, Dawn and Max occasionally, he wields a Keyblade with the Gazing Eye called the "8th Colour of the World" that has the ability to wield the powers of both Light and Darkness themselves and even combined them into one single whole, using this Keyblade, he can create the Kolour monsters from its Gazing Eye, bringing into question both the true mystery of the Keyblade and the true identity of its wielder, Arcobaleno.

Darkness sprouts within it-it grows, consumes it. Such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came. You see, darkness is the heart's true essence." Prologue: Names-Concluded. Chapter I: A man named "Xehanort"...: "Darkness rules your heart-it gives me control. Muscle and sinew that once obeyed you now rebels against you. How you can remain here at all confounds the mind." "It's still my heart. You think you can just come in and take over? I'm not gonna sit by and let that happen." "Hmph. Don't even entertain any notions of escaping me, boy. In the end, your heart will be engulfed by mine forever." "Wrong. You're gonna get shown the door, old man." "As I recall, you couldn't even handle your own darkness. How, then, will you triumph over mine?" "You'll find out soon enough." "Oh? So that's how it is, is it? Someone else has set foot in your heart. Eraqus, you sly fox..." "I'm not afraid of what the darkness holds now. Even if you do wrest control of my heart from me-even if you cast me into the deepest, darkest abyss-you'll never sway me from the one cause that pushes me to keep on fighting. Whatever the cost, i'm ready to pay it." "Brave words, to be sure. But I'm a patient man. We can take as much time as we need to settle this little property dispute. However, know this-You are just one of many roads that i might choose to take. Trust me. I made certain of that." Just then, awakening from what seemed like a nightmare was a young man named Xehanort, he was having a nightmare about two people having what looked like both an argument and a debate within a pocket dimension full of darkness, one of the two people resembled Xehanort himself but with lighter skin tone, blue eyes and brown hair whilst the other person was a elderly looking old man who had sharp hawk like golden eyes and a equally sharp tongue to boot again whilst he was seen flexing his fingers, Xehanort sighed and said to himself after awaking from the nightmare the words: "Another dream about them..." Xehanort then looked out the window of his room to see the town of Radiant Garden, the world in which he lived in, although it was a magnificent splendor to enjoy, Xehanort was not fazed in that way the least single bit, all he did was get up out of bed, proceeded to put his work clothes on after tidying himself up and again proceed to start the day like any another normal working day for him, that is to say that he is an apprentice to the great Ansem the Wise, the sage leader of all Radiant Garden and who was dedicating his life to working on research to both discover and unlock the mysteries of the heart, in order to better his people's lives. In actuality, it was thanks to Xehanort that Ansem had begun studying his research on the workings of a heart, for it was one day out of the blue that Xehanort had arrived in Radiant Garden from out of nowhere both very strangely and mysteriously, Ansem found him alongside two others of his apprentices named both Braig and Dilan and Ansem had decided to take in Xehanort and give him a home, upon discovering that Xehanort had lost his memories and that Xehanort was muttering to himself in his sleep the word heart both over and over time and time again, Ansem wanted to help Xehanort regain his lost memories and thus both he and his apprentices alongside Xehanort who was named an apprentice would begin research into the concepts of the heart in the hopes that it would both restore Xehanort's memory and help make the people of Radiant Garden lives better, the phrase killing two birds with one stone came to mind in Ansem's head when he thought of all this. Xehanort was a beginner apprentice, however, he quickly rose up through the ranks little by little until eventually, he quickly became Ansem's very best student, his number one ranking apprentice and thus, to honor Xehanort's achievements and fast progress to high greatness, Ansem decided to have a giant face portrait of Xehanort done to show how much he has achieved and that Ansem holds Xehanort in high regard, even without his memories. During his time living in Radiant Garden, Xehanort supposedly befriended one of the other apprentices, it was one of the two who found him at Ansem's side when Xehanort first appeared in Radiant Garden, it was Braig and although Braig appeared to seem friendly, he was actually very chiding, always looking down on Xehanort, trying to make out that Braig was superior to the former, Braig also never let Xehanort have a moment to himself, whenever there was a chance to annoy or bug Xehanort, Braig would pop up almost all the time, however...there was one time when Braig decided to purposely make Xehanort angry that a certain name came up that caught the latter's attention almost immediately: "Hey! Mister Master. Oh c'mon, you don't even know your pal? Please tell me the amnesia was just a sick joke. Boy, this is some cliche. Hey, you're not...Terra? Just gotta check. As if. Well, don't sweat it. I got your back." Terra? who was Terra? what did that name mean to Xehanort? how did Braig know about it? as the two were walking down a underground passageway corridor, Xehanort thought to himself what the name Terra meant, as strangely enough, it felt very...familiar to him, as he and Braig were walking onward, unbeknownst to them looking behind was Ansem, walking and eating Sea Salt Ice Cream with his youngest apprentice Ienzo who he treated exactly like a son, having known the boy since when he was just a baby and was a friend of his parents, before they died, Ansem was named the godfather of Ienzo and had promised to take care of him should anything ever happen to his parents but digressing, Ansem saw that Ienzo's attention was drawn to both Xehanort and Braig and, as he saw his two older apprentices moving on and heading to their respective work posts, Ansem suddenly felt...uneasy, as though something was off about Braig but even more so, about Xehanort...he couldn't help but sensing that there was an almost dark aura emerging from Xehanort's back in spiritual form, in turn in the form of what looked like a monster that had bandages across its face and very long ears, Ansem was frightened by the visage he thought that he saw for a moment but had decided to shrug it off, believing it to be an old man's imaginations and so, he and Ienzo continued walking onward in the direction opposite both Xehanort and Braig, leaving things, as they were. Xehanort was seen working in one of the underground laboratories that Ansem had built in the hopes that they would help further the research to unlocking Xehanort's memory buried deep within his heart, Xehanort's lab colleague, superior and peer was named Even and although the two were seen working together, Even openly voiced his opinion about how he disapproved of Xehanort, namely Even was jealous of how Xehanort quickly rose through the ranks and had taken Even's place, as Ansem's foremost pupil, Even tried to flaunt off his own IQ, knowledge and skills, trying to prove that he was better then Xehanort but unfortunately to no avail, Xehanort merely proclaimed to Even in a cold manner that all of everything, Xehanort's own IQ, knowledge, skills, so on and so forth came natural to him, like it was almost supernatural even and acting on instinct for Xehanort, for some reason, although he doesn't quite know how, when it came to studying about hearts, Xehanort was a mastermind full of answers, Even couldn't even begin to compare to Xehanort upon realizing what kind of an almost godly like mindset that he had, this further frustrated Even, as Braig watching from behind the scenes, lurking within the shadows had merely laughed to himself, happy with Even's failure, embarrassment and shame and how Xehanort's "progress" was coming along just nicely. It was the end of the day, the sun was setting and before Xehanort was about to set off going home back to his room within Radiant Garden's castle, a quiet Ienzo appeared to him from behind, surprising Xehanort and had offered him a Sea Salt Ice Cream, wanting to eat with Xehanort, although Xehanort tried to avoid Ienzo, the latter kept standing in his way until Xehanort finally relented, the two watched the sun setting from up above the very top of Radiant Garden's castle eating Sea Salt Ice Cream together despite not talking to each other, as Xehanort started to eat his ice cream, he started to think to himself about how it tasted: "It's salty...but sweet," Just then, upon tasting the ice cream, a sudden visual image played back in Xehanort's mind, it was a memory that was not his that he doesn't recall ever having, it was about the young man from his nightmare earlier on in the day tasting a similar ice cream and making his comment about it: "Mmm! This is fantastic!" Xehanort's head started to hurt a little, as he placed his hand over his left eye upon his head whilst holding his ice cream in the right before Ienzo suddenly says to Xehanort whilst looking out towards the sun setting, not noticing Xehanort's head hurting the words: "This world is just too big." Xehanort's head started to hurt even further when upon hearing Ienzo's words he started to recall another memory that didn't belong to him, this time it was of another young man who Xehanort did not recognized but upon closer inspection, Xehanort saw that this young man unlike the last one bore Xehanort's physical features, his silver hair and golden eyes being the prime examples, the young man that looked almost exactly like Xehanort himself proceeded to say the words: "This world is just too small." The young man said this, as he starred out to sea before starting to turn around and face Xehanort but, as he was slowly turning around, the young man was seen transforming into two men who looked definitely exactly like Xehanort! although there were differences between these two men and the present Xehanort we know currently for sure, just, as these two men followed transforming from the young man, they too were followed by transforming into the elderly old man from Xehanort's nightmare, suddenly, Xehanort started to panic, he dropped his ice cream right below, as he faced Ienzo, whose eyes suddenly beamed up with dark glowing light golden eyes, Xehanort suddenly screamed out and his eyes blanked, he started to fall off the castle tower right down below towards the ground, asking himself the question whilst falling in slow motion: "Who...am I?" Chapter I: A man named "Xehanort"...-Concluded. Chapter II: A heart of pure light: "Aqua! Get back! I messed up. ******** is part of me. Now he's using me so you'll tell him where you hid ***! I won't give in! Aqua! You have to-Aqua! That is enough!" "!?!? Guh!?!? wha-what? who?" said Xehanort, as he woke up inside of his bed from another nightmare, as Braig was by the door-side, surprised by Xehanort's sudden awakening, asking him the question: "Yo-yo-yo sleepyhead! rise and shine! welcome back to the realm of the living, tell me, by any chance...your memories return me thinks? pfff, as if! right?" said Braig, as Ansem the Wise then appeared, silencing Braig, saying to him the words: "That's enough! Braig! now go! you should be at your post with Dilan and Aeleus, me and Even will tend to Xehanort, go." said Ansem, ordering Braig to leave Xehanort's room, as he sarcastically bowed down towards Ansem before taking his leave, Ansem then proceeded to sit by Xehanort's bedside, talking to him: "...Xehanort, are you alright? what happened? do you recall yesterday?" said Ansem, as Xehanort upon hearing his master's words then recalled that yesterday he fell off Radiant Garden's castle's highest tower down towards the ground right below, only to have been saved by Braig who was keeping an eye on Xehanort the whole time and had used his jumping abilities to catch Xehanort before he nearly fell to his death, Xehanort proceeded to answer Ansem by saying: "...No, nothing, nothing at all..." said Xehanort, lying about not recalling anything, as Ansem remained silent for a moment before deciding to just leave the matter be, despite it still bothering him inside, he lastly says to Xehanort before leaving his room: "...Well, at any rate, i'm assigning you the day off, you have been working too hard these days Xehanort, you need a break from the lab, you spend too much time working in there, these are my orders Xehanort, go out today, get some fresh air and enjoy yourself, learn what it means for one to enjoy things, understand?" said Ansem the Wise, as he proceeded to leave Xehanort's bedside and leave his room but not before ordering Xehanort to take the whole day off, believing him to be suffering from fatigue from overworking, as Ansem had left, closing the door behind him, Xehanort placed both of his hands over his face before then looking straight into his hands and lastly saying the words: "...Aq...ua? who is Aqu...a? why does that name...haunt...me? ugh..." said Xehanort, his head pulsing with migraines, as Braig looked from within the shadows and was displeased upon Xehanort recalling this Aqua person's name. Later that morning, Xehanort was seen exiting the front gates and was silently greeted by both Dilan and Aeleus, exchanging no words, merely bowing down their heads towards Xehanort, as he left the castle grounds, he made his way towards the central plaza, where here, flowers were in bloom and attending to them was a young red headed girl, she was seen happily picking flowers whilst muttering to herself that she was going to make a flower crown for her grandmother, as a secret surprise, Xehanort watched the young girl and was curious by her for some reason, just then, his head started to hurt again and he could hear someone's voice inside of his head, saying: "Seven pure lights..." Xehanort muttered these same words himself straight after hearing them inside of his head after the swelling started to calm down, it was then that the young girl noticed Xehanort's presence and upon noticing him, she was almost immediately scared by his presence and had proceeded to run away, Xehanort tried to stretch out his hand towards the girl to show her that he meant no harm but, as she had already left, he was left behind to stare into his hand, thinking to himself: "That girl...she had, no darkness...none whatsoever." thought Xehanort, upon realizing that the young girl held no darkness at all inside of her heart, it was then that a sudden idea came to Xehanort's head and with it, he proceeded to race back to Ansem the Wise's castle. At Ansem's study, Xehanort barged in like there was no tomorrow and was interrupting a conversation between both Ansem and Even, Xehanort was breathing heavily a little, as he was trying to catch his breath, wanting desperately to say something towards Ansem, despite him having explicitly told Xehanort to take the day off. Xehanort said to Ansem: "Darkness! that's what we have been missing in the experiments master Ansem! darkness!" said Xehanort to Ansem who was caught off guard by Xehanort's words, Even thought that Xehanort was raving like a lunatic and that he had clearly lost it, he was about to summon Dilan and Aeleus to escort Xehanort back to his room until further notice until Ansem raised Even's arm down, having been raised up in the air, curious about Xehanort's idea, it could very well be the missing key to restoring Xehanort's lost memories, Ansem had listened to Xehanort speak his mind, as the latter proceeded to talk by saying: "Master Ansem! i know what it is that my memory has been missing, it was darkness! my memory has been so fully clouded with light ever since i arrived here in Radiant Garden that it had not time to adjust to or even make room for darkness, because of that, i haven't been able to recover my memory at the fast pace that i should have achieved by now, i believe that instead of studying a heart's light properties, we should do the reverse and study the dark, that way--" just then, Even laughed at Xehanort's proposal, saying to him: "Ha! ha! haaa! you'd honestly believe that we would endanger not only our research but the lives of Radiant Garden's people by dabbling with darkness!? you must have finally lost not only your memory but your mind, as well Xehanort! master Ansem, let us not change the subject with this matter and--" said Even, as Ansem replied: "Wait, Even...i think, i think Xehanort might be onto something..." said Ansem, as Even was caught shocked by Ansem's words, Ansem proceeded to continue talking: "Its true that we have never truly done research on darkness itself and have only worked on the heart's light properties, who knows? by researching and gathering data into darkness, we may just help Xehanort regain his memory finally and not only that but better the peoples' lives at last, i am afraid Even that Radiant Garden merely being called the holy city of light will not grant it the perfection that we are seeking for it, no, in order to truly seek perfection, we must balance both the light and the darkness, by doing that, Radiant Garden will truly become blessed, do you not agree? Even?" said Ansem, as although Even was furious by this sudden turn of events, he nevertheless agreed to both Ansem and Xehanort's idea that study into darkness might just help Radiant Garden reach the state and height of what the scientists have been looking for to help better the world itself, as Xehanort was shown expressing a genuine smile at this turn of events, Braig, lurking behind a corridor near Ansem's study could help naught but show an evil grin on his face, apparently now pleased about Xehanort's progress being back on track then when it was compared to earlier when he mentioned this Aqua person. The sun started to set once more just like yesterday and seen at the central plaza, where the young girl was trying to make a flower crown was the crown itself, resembling a broken chain made out of flowers for before the girl could fully make the crown did she notice Xehanort and ran away in fear of him, she was seen with her grandmother crying on her lap, she had not stopped crying ever since she saw Xehanort who had frightened her almost to death, her grandmother tried to calm the young girl down, as she proceeded to say the words: "Now, now Kairi, i'm sure this person wasn't, as scary, as you thought he was." said the grandmother, identifying her granddaughter, as Kairi, who replied whilst in tears: "But-but, because of him...i couldn't make you your special gift for your birthday grandma!" said Kairi, revealing that her flower crown was meant, as a gift for her grandmother's birthday, her grandmother merely smiled and said to Kairi whilst raising her chin up: "Oh Kairi...my sweet precious dear, just know this, that your smile brings me all of the greatest joy that not only this world but all of the worlds out there have to offer, i am thankful and blessed that you think of me child but do not fret, i am happy, simply happy that you are here with me and that is all that matters...remember the story we share with one another? about the worlds and their light?" said Kairi's grandmother, as Kairi herself nodded her head, still in tears whilst trying to wipe them away, listening to her grandmother telling their story that they share once more: "Long ago, people lived in peace, bathed in the warmth of light. Everyone loved the light. Then people began to fight over it. They wanted to keep it for themselves. And darkness was born in their hearts. The darkness spread, swallowing the light and many people's hearts. It covered everything, and the world disappeared. But small fragments of light survived, in the hearts of children. With these fragments of light, children rebuilt the lost world. It's the world we live in now. But the true light sleeps, deep within the darkness. That's why the worlds are still scattered, divided from each other. But someday, a door to the innermost darkness will open and the true light will return. So, listen, child. Even in the deepest darkness, there will always be a light to guide you. Believe in the light, and the darkness will never defeat you. Your heart will shine with its power and push the darkness away." said Kairi's grandmother finishing the story, upon hearing the story's end, tears were no longer rolling down Kairi's face and instead a huge bright smile was seen, as Kairi's grandmother lastly said to Kairi the words: "There, you see my child? even the innermost darkness will not claim your heart, your heart is strong Kairi, so long, as you keep your light burning strong...so too will your heart, always remember, Kairi...that even if darkness was to claim our world and claim me, it will never claim you, your light is the strongest of all and one day, i hope that there will be friends by your side who will share with you in your light and you theirs, together, your hearts will be your guiding key towards the door, the door to light, of course heh heh, you may not understand everything right now but in time you will, just remember Kairi, i am in your heart, just, as you are in mine and soon, there will be others that think of you and you of them too, i just know there will be, Don't ever forget. Wherever you go, I'm always with you." said Kairi's grandmother, as Kairi looked on puzzled by her grandmother's words, as she merely smiled at Kairi's confused expression before lastly, a small bright shine could be seen emitting from the pendant that Kairi is wearing and a voice could be heard albeit muffled also emitting from it, the voice could not be heard by either Kairi or her grandmother but instead by Xehanort elsewhere, trying to sleep back at Radiant Garden's castle. The voice said to him in his sleep: "Terra." said the voice, as it shocked Xehanort wide awake and he wondered what that voice was and whom it belonged to, it sounded like a female's voice but even more strangely, it sounded...familiar to Xehanort...deciding to brush it off, Xehanort proceeded to go back to bed but still wondering whose that female's voice was, inside of Xehanort's dreams before he fully lost conscious and fully went into sleep, he could see what looked like a background full of ruins and in front of him was a young blue haired woman, simply smiling and reaching out her hand towards Xehanort, whispering something to him, although he could not hear what she was whispering and with that, Xehanort went to sleep. Chapter II: A heart of pure light-Concluded. Chapter III: Fire and Moon: "I just--when I really need you, ***, I know you'll be there." "Terra!" "Huh!? what? not, again...who is...he? V...V...en...tus?" said Xehanort, as he awoke from another dream, this time it was not about the young woman from before but instead a younger boy, as Xehanort struggled to try and recall the boy's name, it was then that Even knocked on Xehanort's door, saying to him: "Xehanort, Xehanort! get up! master Ansem requests your presence!" said Even in a harsh tone, as he then took his leave on the other side of the door, leaving Xehanort to awaken, finally, Xehanort pondered to himself before getting up like normal, still wondering about who it was he was trying to recall in his dream. in Ansem the Wise's study, Xehanort meets with his master who had requested his presence, Ansem says to Xehanort about their new approach they are taking on their experiment of studying about the heart and all of its secrets, taking the route of darkness: "...Xehanort, before we begin studying about darkness, i must warn you now that we are dabbling with forces we do not know anything about, for all we know, we could be walking into a trap, if anything goes wrong with the research, i am pulling out everything immediately...i hope you understand what that means, yes?" said Ansem, warning Xehanort about the very potential dangers about researching the darkness in one's heart and how it could affect everyone by divulging too much into it, Xehanort replies: "...Yes, master Ansem..." said Xehanort, as he bowed his head towards Ansem, seemingly acknowledging his both concerns and worries about the research on darkness, as Xehanort then had left the room, Ansem started stroking his beard, pondering to himself and worriedly too...outside in the corridor near Ansem's study was then seen Braig, approaching Xehanort, placing his arm around the latter, as the former says to Xehanort: "SOOO! you finally got the "master's" permission, ehhh?" said Braig, as Xehanort replied: "...What are you talking about?" said Xehanort, Braig acting all cocky and starting to say to Xehanort the words: "Oh come on! "lighten" up! i mean, its not like you WEREN'T going to ask the man about darkness anytime soon no? all you had to do was a little both head nudging and heart tinkering and then BAM! darkness came to mind, as expected, right? you may fool them, heck, you may even fool "yourself" but when it comes to both me and "you" per-say, we both know that it was eventually going to come to this..." said Braig, flapping his arms about in a flamboyant and jester like manner more or less, as he was cryptically hinting something towards Xehanort with his words, Xehanort however, did not understand even a single thing Braig was saying and could only reply by saying: "What do you...mean?" said Xehanort, not sure about how to answer Braig, as the latter merely snickered before leaving Xehanort behind to think to himself, to think about what Braig was trying to say towards Xehanort... " ...Coming your way Noct! " ...Leaving this all up to you Noct! " ...Don't get careless Noct! " ...Yeah, i know guys, i know... " ...Prompto...Ignis...Gladiolus... " ...Guys, i'm...i'm sorry... " "GUAH!?!?" suddenly, like a fly on a windshield, something crashes into the Gummi Ship on its way towards Olympus Coliseum, Sora, Donald and Goofy are both befuddled and dumbfounded, as to what appeared on the front window of the Gummi Ship and WHAT do they find? ...a black haired young man sticking his tongue on the windscreen whilst in agony, Sora says upon this sort of predicament the words: "...Uh...well, that's new, huh guys?" said Sora with both Donald and Goofy nodding their heads in union. suddenly, the following words appear in Caps Lock onscreen: ...FINAL FANTASY XV... ...X KINGDOM HEARTS III Prologus... ...Numen Astrum Quaero... in turn followed by a message in smaller letters: "The Divine Star Search...begins." afterwards, a trailer plays that says: "Noctis, Lucis, Caelum, the true king of kings, has entered our World and during his time here, must he find his way back to his own, aiding him are Sora, Donald and Goofy, upon meeting each other do they team up with one another after hearing Noctis' story, Sora and co, not finding it within themselves to simply abandon their new friend, decide to help the one true king get back to his own World and not too far away from the Gummi Ship, do they spot an entirely new World, seemingly populated with life, hoping that this is the World Noctis comes from, the four travel there with vim and vigor, as Noctis is all to eager to return back to his friends, his family, his...but then, upon arriving..." game-play bits are then shown of Sora, Donald and Goofy fighting alongside Noct on his home-world of Eos against Heartless that resemble the local variety of the monsters that live in Noct's World that he normally combats against during his adventure in Final Fantasy XV, cutscenes are then shown with Sora and the others meeting Noct's companions, however... Prompto: "Huh? who's Noct? i don't know anyone by that name." Noctis: "H-Huh!? your joking, right Prompto? if so, this isn't funny! come on man, don't you remember me-" Gladiolus: "Hey, ease up on the kid, otherwise, i might have to get ruff with you." Noctis: "Gladio not you too! oi! Iggy! say something!" Ignis: "Iggy? i sure hope you are not referring to me of all people." Noctis: "Why wouldn't why!? your Iggy! Ignis Stupeo Scientia!" Ignis: "!? Where did you hear that name from!? are you--" ???: "Come, come now, calm down young Ignis, its clear to me that the boy has heard of you and has done his research, he is merely, an enthusiastic fan, is all, hehe." Noctis: "...!?!? YOU! YOU'RE--" just then, appearing out of the Regalia, the royal car for the royal bloodline of Lucis and those belonging to it is none other...then Ardyn Izunia! who Prompto, Gladiolus and Ignis all bow down to, with the latter lastly saying the words: "Of course, your majesty..." said Ignis, greatly shocking and especially horrifying Noctis, as Sora, Donald and Goofy look on, dumbfounded by the turn of events, more game-play bits are shown, including a two man combo involving both Sora and Noctis working together, fighting against all of the Heartless surrounding them, they are then seen running through the giant wild-lands of Eos surrounding the barren area located near the garage pit stop Hammerhead, as another cutscene is shown: Noctis: "Let me guess, Cindy, you don't remember me either..." Cindy: "Hmm...nope, can't say that i do, although, you look real cute for a handsome cutie pie like yourself." Noctis blushes a bit with Sora playfully elbowing him in the rib, as Noct tries to get Sora to knock it off, leaving both Donald and Goofy to simply laugh happily at the turn of events, Cindy next replies with the following words, offering Noctis a bit of advice: "I wouldn't worry too much though, things that usually get lost always come running back in the end, am i right? or am i right?" said Cindy, as she gives a playful wink, Noctis looking bashful, as Sora listens on before beating on his chest with his fist, saying in reply towards Cindy's comment: Sora: "Uh-huh! you got it! even when we lose some of our most precious and cherished Memories, in the end, they will always come back, so long, as we remember them, right Noct?" said Sora, Noctis was surprised by Sora's comment before pausing for a moment and then nodding his head in agreement, saying towards Sora: "...Yeah, your right, Sora, thanks..." the last few bits of game-play are shown, showing Sora wielding a Keyblade based on the shape of Noctis' Engine Blade with the Regalia, as its Keychain, using this Keyblade, Sora performs attacks similar and identical to that of Noctis' teleportation techniques until finally, he transforms his Keyblade into a invisible like crystal clear sword surrounded by 12 other weapons of different kinds that he ultimately unleashes devastating combos upon a giant Heartless with modeled after the FFXV version of Leviathan, having flooded the entire area in surrounding water, the last cutscene is shown with Sora being confronted by Ardyn, saying to the former: Ardyn: "So, you wish to help the hapless king return to his dirtied throne of emptiness? you are best finding yourself a new friend, my dear boy." Sora: "Shut up! Noct's my friend! i'll never abandon him! he would never abandon and forget us so why would we forget him? your a liar and a phony! give Noct's friends their Hearts back!" ???: "...But what if they don't want their Hearts back? what if, they are simply, better off?" Sora turns around to see a man in a Black Coat, the trailer ends there with the title: Final Fantasy XV X Kingdom Hearts III Prologus: Numen Astrum Quaero. followed by a tagline: "Hunting for Memories...is never easy." a last bit of footage shows Sora, Donald and Goofy driving alongside Noct in his Regalia around the wastelands surrounding Hammerhead with the king of kings at the helm of his proud and mighty majestic vehicle's steering wheel. Sora lastly says onscreen: "Hey hey! Noct! can i drive yet!?" said Sora with Noctis lastly replying with the words: "Umm...you don't have a license yet, do you?" the trailer ends.
