The spoiler is Luxu! I was just thinking, like, the whole plan was for Xehanort to be the scapegoat and summon Kingdom Hearts and stuff, yadda yadda, while Luxu would help him along in that goal and keep a close eye on things - BUT...that must have also meant he had to be rooting for the heroes to win, RIGHT? Cause what the heck was he going to do if Xehanort ACTUALLY WON? If X-Blade Xehanort HAD successfully killed the Guardians and started the World Purge off...would Luxu have actually needed to break his cover and personally step in to kill Xehanort? Because you know, pretty sure erasing all the worlds and people to a world of nothingness/pure light whatever INCLUDES LUXU lol! Which means HIS PLAN would be moot, and HE would have been dead and gone with everyone else! So yeah like just imagine the alternate timeline where Xehanort wins, and Luxu goes "FCK" and reveals his full strength and skill and takes him out before he can erase the worlds. We know he's not OPPOSED to breaking cover in some situations, like he did with Baldr's Darkness/Baldr? And of course the massive one was breaking his cover to rescue SKULD, fulfilling his personal desire to help the Dandelion kids despite his orders (maybe he even made a promise/plan with Brain we didn't see). Like imagine if amnesiac Xehanort at the time had found out what "Braig" had done, or caught him in the act! He would NEVER have trusted him, and then how was Luxu going to keep an eye on the guy and push him forward on his goals...? He could have ruined things, but he risked it anyways to help Skuld. So I think yeah in a total end of the world real Xehanort wins scenario, he'd have to break it again to stop him himself!

KH3 Why did xemnas need time travel to come back?
LivvyLuvvy posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
OK so like Xemnas's confirmed real Heart should have totally gone to Xehanort upon Recompletion like EVERY NOBODY DOES, RIGHT?! So why did he need to be brought from the past instead of just extracting him from the PRESENT Old Nort? Roxas and Namine went back properly, even XION went back to Sora, so why didn't Xemnas go back to EITHER Old Nort OR even into Terra's Heart? He should have, by all natural laws! It didn't need convoluted time travel. Only for Ansem SOD! I feel like Nomura seriously overlooked this here. Even Lea and them's Hearts went back to and merged with their Somebody's Recompleted selves Hearts... Xemnas should never have needed time travel to come back when he should have gone back into Old Xehanort and/or Terra for him to just pull out THERE! -

Ben Hanson of MinnMax recently conducted a lengthy interview with Pixar's Creative Director of Theme Parks, Tasha Sounart, about a vast variety of topics. One of these detailed discussions regarded the development of the Toy Box world in Kingdom Hearts III. Sounart first talked about how the D23 fan reactions to the Toy Box world were immensely positive, fueling her with a genuine sense of accomplishment and relief considering the stigma of negativity that gaming communities are generally perceived to have. As for how this Pixar collaboration for Kingdom Hearts III even came about, Sounart was an integral voice in making it happen. She talked to the Pixar executives hesitant about the idea, forever altering the initially shaky prospect of Toy Story's utilization. Other topics she speaks about are cultural differences with Square Enix's team and the difficulties finalizing the Toy Box casts' animations with English voice work to make it all feel natural. Lastly, she reveals her dream ideas of how Kingdom Hearts implementation would work in Disneyland. You can listen to the full Tasha Sounart interview below, with helpful timestamps specifically labeling the Kingdom Hearts segments: Additionally, Tasha Sounart has previously shared several comments about Pixar's involvement in Kingdom Hearts III over the years. Hello there guys! Since yesterday I started working on a little project thanks to the sea of excitement the recent news have created and I wanted to share it with you guys. I made a calendar in celebration of the release date reveal so you guys can keep track with holidays for the USA region and the release of the game. The Calendar goes from this recent month June up 'til January for the release of the game. I very much hope you like it and enjoy it as I did creating it. I will upload the Calendar for download into this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4b8utxmodakdsec/KH3%20CALENDAR.zip?dl=0 and you get to see the preview of the content on this very post. NOTE: This Calendar is made for digital use only! If anyone wants a printable version feel free to request beforehand. The file size is for 60 Mb altogether. DISCLAIMER: The images such as background, characters, icons and logo are property of Square Enix, I take only credit for the Calendar Design. You're allowed to share as long as credit is given to both Square-Enix and myself for the design.

Hi everyone! I'm a lifelong Kingdom Hearts fan, and regular lurker on KH13 (especially at times like this when we're all waiting for the update and ReMind to drop XD). I don't tend to post anywhere nowadays (sometimes on reddit), but I think I was pretty active on forums back in the pre-KH2 days haha. Over the past nine months I've been writing an essay - called Kingdom Hearts III: A Conclusion without a Story - which analyses Kingdom Hearts III’s approach to storytelling; viewed both from the perspective of a player, and the perspective of a writer/game designer (hence being released on Gamasutra). My intention was to examine the game’s structure, ideas, and mistakes, and draw out numerous lessons that could be applicable to the reader’s own game – all centred around a main hypothesis. The hope is that anyone can read and enjoy it, but that developers will gain a lot more from the topics explored. As I mention in the article, while I adore the series, this critique is largely written from a game developer’s perspective, albeit with the insights (and frustrations) of a lifelong fan. Anyway, we start off slow, but I think I managed to extract a lot of interesting points and insights overall (especially in the later topics) - things that I'd definitely never thought about before in relation to the series. So whether you agree or disagree with my points, I hope anyone that takes the time enjoys reading it! Thank you very much for your time! And if nothing else, it's something else to read while waiting for ReMind =P I apologise if I've posted this in the wrong forum. I was considering posting it in Creative Media, but an essay didn't seem to quite fit the descriptions and other content I found there. Japanese organization CERO (Computer Entertainment Rating Organization) has given Kingdom Hearts III a rating of A for content that is suitable for all ages. According to this rating, the game should contain no content that should offend children. The rating is displayed on the Japanese website for the game. Thanks @orange_desuyo_n for the tip! Kingdom Hearts III has also been rated E10+ by ESRB and PG by ACB. In Europe, it has been rated PEGI 12, according to which it shows "violence of a slightly more graphic nature towards fantasy characters or non-realistic violence towards human-like characters would fall in this age category." Furthermore, this rating allows: "sexual innuendo or sexual posturing can be present, while any bad language must be mild"; "gambling as it is normally carried out in real life in casinos or gambling halls can also be present (e.g. card games that in real life would be played for money)." German organization USK (Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle) has rated the game 12 (suitable for those above 12 years of age). A general description of video game featured under this rating can be found below: UPDATE [Nov 27, 2018]: You can check out a higher definition packshot of the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts III for PlayStation 4 with the CERO A rating below.
