As of the 22nd of April, Square Enix has announced the cancellation of their long awaited title: Kingdom Hearts III. Since the game was originally announced at E3 2013, along with Final Fantasy XV, fans expressed their feelings on YouTube that day with several videos, along with there being much excitement for the release of the game and the conclusion to the eponymous "Xehanort Saga". Development for this game however had been very tough, according to Series Creator and Director: Tetsuya Nomura, who had this to say to Kotaku in a recent interview: So this is very sad news indeed and we here at KH13 would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all of you who were excited for this game, and those of you who could not have cared less...THIS IS YOUR FAULT you have a good day. As much as we cannot truly compensate any of you for what has transpired, especially for the Kingdom Hearts Series, we can offer a some consolation for you. We do love you all truly and we will cherish the souls you offered to us when you signed up. So here...take this: Have a splendid day.
