So since it's quiet on the KH3 news front, I thought I'd write a little post about some of the returning music in KH3 Obviously we can expect plenty of new themes from Yoko Shimomura, (For example the toy story world & battle themes), but I've noticed a few old or remixed music tracks in the trailers: - Hand in Hand (Attraction Flow theme) - An Adventure in Atlantica (Ariel summon) - The Deep End (Rock Titan boss) - Shrouding Dark Cloud (Gigas Mech battle) - Hunter of the Dark (Heartless Doll fight) - Some form of Fate of the Unknown/Aqua's theme (Aqua fight) I'm sure we can expect other familiar tunes, like Destati and of course, Dearly Beloved. Personally I'm hoping for a variant of 'Another Side' like this (@ 40 seconds) https://youtu.be/yxF0h156sDk Also heard in 'The 13th Dilemma' and 'Showdown at Hollow Bastion' Anyone else have some thoughts on what they think/would like to see return music-wise?

Kingdom Hearts 3 Footage belongs to Square Enix and Disney I love KH boss music. Battle music was the first type of music I started out with. I've always been fond of percussion as well, as the snare drum was the first instrument I ever learned, and I really liked how Shimomura uses it to her music's advantage when writing these orchestrations. The battle music can sound totally different with the percussion removed. This is a newer version of "Light's Triumph" which when I wrote it a few years back, I had always imagined it would fit as a sort of mini boss theme kinda like Rowdy Rumble in KH2. After seeing this new AMAZING trailer, I thought this could fit as a Toy Story specific boss theme. Especially in the Galaxy Toys area

I used some pulsation synths to go along with the orchestra instruments because I noticed it's something Yoko likes to do with some of her newer battle themes. The piano solo was a nod to Desire for all that is Lost from KH2s OST.
