I actually bought the complete animated Superman series on Blu-Ray during the summer to watch through it before the upcoming movie.

With Man of Steel that got bungled because WB just wanted to have some of the MCU cake and eat it too at the time and continue riding off the coattails of the Nolanverse Batman movies. And that haunted the rest of the DCEU until the end.

I'm hyped for the new Superman; it's just a shame that Henry Cavill got screwed over by WB execs and bad scripts because he wasn't a bad Superman otherwise.
