  1. I guess one benefit of a onesie is that it’s all one piece of clothing. Then again, I don’t know if that actually makes it more convenient or not.
  2. Maybe he just really likes onesies? 😅
  3. Yeah. This is a good point. I’ll go with that as my answer as well.
  4. Umm . . . I would have to think about it. It’s certainly something I haven’t considered before. 😅
  5. Sorry. Sometimes I go on too long. 😅 I know it’s a long wall of text. Sorry. I’m not trying to cause any arguments. I’m sorry if anything I said was too much. I hope they give up on the NFT’s, though. As of now it seems like they’ve quieted down a bit regarding that. But I also hope they don’t keep going after NFTs. 😅
  6. My point is not that you’re wrong or don’t have a good point regarding those years. But what I am trying to say is that I don’t think, for many people, that it’s necessarily them forgetting those years. I think for many people, they just happened to have different opinions and viewpoints. At least for the games themselves, I think it’s equally valid for people to have varying opinions. Regardless of whether some had more negative opinions and some had more positive opinions, I think they’re all valid opinions in the end. So really, I’m just saying that although maybe for you the years 2009 to 2017 may have been bad for Square Enix, I don’t think most people are forgetting those years. I think it’s just people having different opinions. Which is totally fine if you ask me.
  7. I certainly remember the egregiously long waits for Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III. I agree that the wait times for those games were almost unbearable at times. As for the games themselves released during those specific years you mentioned, although there were a couple I wasn’t too fond of, I still really enjoyed many of the games released by Square Enix from 2009 to 2017. I’m aware not everyone feels the same way, but that’s okay. We all have our own opinions and tastes. For example, I remember all the heavy arguing and major criticisms people had towards Final Fantasy XIII back in the day. But I still really love Final Fantasy XIII. It’s not my first favorite Final Fantasy game, but it is one of my favorites in the series. There were other games during those years I loved too. Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Bravely Default, Final Fantasy XV, NieR Automata, and a few others were some of the games released in the 2009 to 2017 time period that I personally love. That period of time also included my personal discovery of the Kingdom Hearts franchise for the first time. Whereas many others had already played Kingdom Hearts on the PS2, I didn’t actually try Kingdom Hearts until the HD 1.5 ReMix was released for PS3. From there, I fell in love with Kingdom Hearts, and to this day Kingdom Hearts is my overall favorite video game series ever. I had some personal disappointments during that timeframe too. I’m a fan of the Star Ocean series, for example, and I remember Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness being kind of disappointing to me when it released. Luckily, I feel like the newest entry in that series, Star Ocean: The Divine Force, was a much better game overall and a real return to form for Tri Ace. But I remember after playing SO: Integrity and Faithlessness feeling very disappointed. To this day, that’s the only Star Ocean game I’m not the fondest of, although I will admit it still had some enjoyable aspects to it.
  8. Well, I don’t know how well the cloud versions sold either. I know that they didn’t stay very high on the eShop charts for long, based on what I saw. So I think it’s possible they probably didn’t sell all that well. We never really got sales numbers for the cloud versions themselves, so it’s tough to know for sure. I still hope that maybe native ports might be a possibility for the Switch’s successor. I know that Square Enix recently announced changes in their strategies, so I’m hoping that by making more of their games available on more platforms in the future, and by slowing down releases to focus a little more on higher quality, that hopefully they’ll be able to do better financially in the future. I personally really enjoyed almost everything they released over the past few years, but I’m also aware that not everyone shares that same sentiment. I’m pretty easy to please, personally, and I’m not super critical by nature, so maybe I’m just easygoing sometimes. 😅 But even though I really enjoyed most of the games they’ve released in recent years, it’s true that a lot of their games haven’t met their sales expectations. Which can be a whole other topic in of itself. Sometimes their sales expectations can be a bit too high in my opinion. Like, Final Fantasy XVI sold 3 million units shortly after launch, and while they saw that as successful, they did hope for the game to sell more over time. We don’t have any updated sales numbers for FF16 since then, so it’s hard to know if the units sold are somewhere around 3.5 million or some other amount. But yeah, sometimes their sales expectations can be a bit too high in my opinion. At the same time, a lot of those games cost a lot to make, so I’m hopeful that they’ll be able to increase their financial success over time. And hopefully please more players too. I’m pretty happy with most of their recent games, but I also know that not everyone is. So hopefully they can keep improving in both aspects.
  9. Yeah, I can understand that feeling. I tried the cloud versions myself, and they were a little finicky at times too. It was a confusing marketing decision in my opinion.
  10. @Kakarot2020 Oh okay. So it was a theory then, but never confirmed. That’s all right. It would have been cool to see KH1 on 3DS, definitely! Heck, I still feel a little baffled as to why the Kingdom Hearts games could only get cloud versions on Switch, whereas NieR Automata got a native port on Switch. I suppose there are always Windows handhelds that could run the PC versions of the Kingdom Hearts games, but I don’t have a Windows handheld, so I don’t know how well they’d run. Plus, whether those are defined as handheld game consoles is probably a debate in of itself. Oh well. Here’s hoping that maybe the successor to the Nintendo Switch might get native ports.
  11. Oh, I didn’t even know that. Dream Drop Distance was originally going to be a remake of KH1? I had no idea at all. That’s fascinating.

  15. I guess what it means is that it’s been 3 years since the end of Union x. 😅 But yeah. It’s hard to believe it’s already been that long.
