I have faith the story will be memorable. I am still a humongous Kingdom Hearts fan at heart. I liked the way Kingdom Hearts III handled all the characters' arcs and reunions, I felt like it needed to be spread out more to aid in the pacing because the latter half of Kingdom Hearts III seemed to be the most enjoyable part of it. I feel like side projects like 2.8 should have been more included in III and that maybe would have helped the game feel a bit more complete. Final Fantasy XVI was brilliantly made, and was probably the most I enjoyed a numbered title since X. The problem with it seems to be coming from the fact they want to focus on taking these huge leaps in graphics and "style" but also compromise things like interactive gameplay, minigames, little details like that. The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth game looks like so much fun cause there's so much content they're gonna have with the gold saucer involved. I mean things changed in gaming and I understand why keeping up with modern times and accessibility is important for games today, but I just don't like how a step forward always means we have to take a few steps back. If Kingdom Hearts IV is just a story focused game I'd be fine with that, but it would be even better with added substance like a night and day cycle, interactive NPCs, outfits, etc.
