  1. Again, even if Sora knows Neku, that Neku seen in Dream Drop Distance wasn't the real one so the Neku that Sora will meet in Shibuya or whichever place Sora will be at, he won't remember Sora.
  2. Next month is where we would have the Boss Fight against King Candy/Turbo and then the Wreck-It Ralph world ends. I am optimistic we might get a console remake of Union χ[Cross], given that some players don't have the app game and also they don't want to spend so much on purchasing items and doing the filler missions.
  3. Again you miss the point what I'm trying to say is that if we see Neku and the gang again in the next game in their own world they won't remember Sora and neither would they be the same ones seen in DDD. Look let's agree to disagree.
  4. Well it's not out of the realm of possibilities cause it likely that the next KH game will have the worlds be set in the "Unreality", besides in KH2 after Cloud & Sephiroth vanished, he said "did he made it back to his world". Besides they won't be the same ones that Sora remembers similar to the Mickey's in Country of the Musketeers & Symphony of Sorcery respectively and Jiminy Cricket from Prankster's Paradise in Dream Drop Distance. Yes and No I mean I wouldn't completely rule out Shibuya or some other Square Enix worlds in the "Unreality" or "Quadratum" and as I said, usually we have around 2-4 non-disney worlds in the Kingdom Hearts series. Now if the cast from The World Ends with You do make a return for the next game they won't be the same ones seen in Dream Drop Distance as they have no memory of Sora. Btw what do you think of the possible Disney worlds I put down for the next game?
  5. I could see the next KH game be centered on both Kairi and Riku as they respectively search to bring back Sora where they traverse new Disney worlds and some original worlds along the way. I could see this being reminiscent to Dream Drop Distance just minus the characters dropping to sleep and their adventures are in the Unreality (Yozora's realm). Even it also would help Kairi grow as a character. As far goes as new Disney worlds we might see in the next game, it's too early to know for sure, cause honestly the Disney world selection is so wishy-washy in the KH series, as literally Nomura and his team cherry-pick Disney worlds based on the following: Which Disney films Nomura and the team want as worlds for the specific KH game. The themes that the specific Disney world (New or returning) based on that Disney or Pixar film have in common to the theme of the specific KH game (e.g. Friendship, Trust, Connections, Promises, etc.) - Which is debatable The Story the world can offer The gameplay value and the environment that the world can offer. Level Variety Disney giving Requests and suggestions to which Films they want to see added in the specific KH game to Nomura and the team (e.g. Big Hero 6 in KH3). I could imagine these as the following Disney worlds for the next game: And for the Non-Disney worlds (cause usually it's 2-4):
  6. You're not the only one and I agree, I don't know if Hercules moreso Olympus will return as a world again in future KH games, cause initially prior to KH3's reveal of Olympus' return I thought Kingdom Hearts II was the last we saw of Hercules and Olympus Coliseum as Sora, Donald and Goofy have officially become True heroes through the Constellations. However, the reason Olympus returned to Kingdom Hearts III was because according to Nomura in the KH3 Ultimania the world fit the theme on the beginning of the Hero's Journey which is why Sora came to this world to get advice from Hercules on how to regain his powers and strength after Sora lost most of his powers and abilities from Xehanort during his Mark of Mastery exam in Dream Drop Distance. Plus we haven't explored Thebes and Mt. Olympus before as in the majority of its appearances it was mainly at the Coliseum, although Kingdom Hearts II did introduce us to the Underworld. Following KH3's story of Olympus, I say we're officially done with the world cause after the destruction of the Titans and how KH3's events reenacted the climax of the film (minus Meg dying), it just would feel tedious to have Hades to come up with a new plan to take over Mt. Olympus or destroy Hercules if he continues getting foiled again and again. I think Hades could just go the route of Maleficent and Pete where he's just another Disney antagonist trying to get revenge on Sora. I think it's perhaps that most people always associate Marvel and Star Wars as the new "live-action" and the ones most people are acquainted with these days, but honestly I'd rather just have the Live-action Disney films over Marvel and Star Wars anyday for Kingdom Hearts. And there's a variety of Live-action Disney films that they can use as worlds such as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Witch Mountain, Mary Poppins (Including Mary Poppins Returns), Return to Oz, Oz, the Great and Powerful, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, and the upcoming Jungle Cruise. Speaking of Jungle Cruise a world based on the film world can offer in terms of the themes, gameplay, and the environment. While it's hard to know the movesets for Emily Blunt's character Lilly, perhaps from the scenes we saw in the theatrical trailer she can be another party member for Sora and the gang as she can use a machete and isn't a damsel in distress. Even one of the villains with the snakes surrounding his body could be another Disney boss in the vein of Davy Jones. https://youtu.be/f_HvoipFcA8 (Trailer)
  7. I also didn't mentioned they can also have the [Player] with different custom voices (Male and Female) similar to the God Eater games and the Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker. Also don't forget to give a like on this one and my other posts.
  8. Sorry for not responding but regarding as to how a console remake of Union χ[Cross] would work I could see the combat be reminiscent to Re: Chain of Memories combat where you use the medals to Battle Enemies and the length of the game could be on par with Birth by Sleep or Dream Drop Distance.
  9. @matteso586But that's a different situation, I'm literally referring to original Disney TV animation IP (e.g. Gravity Falls, The Owl House, Amphibia, Star vs.) cause personally I doubt I would see them appear in a Kingdom Hearts game, cause I feel they would have this uncanny artstyle when they're CG characters, plus I doubt Nomura and his team are aware and even interested in including TV shows into Kingdom Hearts, plus Sparky's (Experiment 221) inclusion to BBS was due to the fact that the Lilo & Stitch franchise is popular in Japan which is why he's in a meetable character in Disney Parks Japan, the Stitch anime and merchandising and his appearance in BBS. As for Tangled the Series and Big Hero 6: The series, I'm very adamant of their inclusions in future KH games especially Tangled cause not only were they done at different divisions (Shows: Disney TVA, Films: Walt Disney Animation Studios) but it requires changing the characters introduced into the show (e.g. Cassandra and Varian for Tangled the series) in the style of the original film or simply changing the look of Kingdom of Corona and San Fransokyo into the style of the show albeit CG. I don't know, I just don't agree that they would include Television shows or characters that originated in a Telelvision show into Kingdom Hearts. Let's not derail this off-topic cause again this thread is ONLY for Disney films (Walt Disney Animation Studios, Live-Action and Pixar) you would like to see in future games in the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
  10. @ocean's rageSorry about that, it just I thought since the film has yet to come out I thought it would hide it since some people might not have heard of this film until the Disney Investor's Day reveal. As much as I love Gravity Falls and Star Vs., I really don't think that Disney Television Animation shows will show up in any Kingdom Hearts games anytime soon, even same can be said with Super Robot Monkey Team (SRMTHFG). As for Star Wars, I'm very ambivalent of it's inclusion to Kingdom Hearts along with Marvel. Besides this thread is ONLY which Disney films (Walt Disney Animation Studios, Live-Action and Pixar) you would like to see in future games in the Kingdom Hearts franchise
  11. Tbh I actually would rather have Dark Road be the Cinematic movie while Union χ becomes a console game as Re:Union χ[Cross] if it were to happen and be announced, cause like I said, some folks don't play Union χ and refuse to do the filler missions and paying some medals and would rather have a straightforward story of it. As for the Disney worlds in the next KH game, yeah it's hard to know what Disney worlds to expect for the next KH game coming up after Melody of Memory (which would be a topic for another time):
  12. Also forgive me If I haven't posted this until now but yesterday the Walt Disney Company held it's Disney Investor's Day meeting where they showcased new projects from it's various divisions but it's Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar which took in the shots on the newest projects announced. Walt Disney Animation Studios Disney has revealed new information on it's upcoming film Raya and the Last Dragon as well as it's new cast of characters: Plus our official look at Sisu: The more Info and footage I see of Raya and the Last Dragon, the more I'm excited I am to see this film and I can't wait with what Nomura and the development team will do with Kumandra and its characters once it's implemented as a world in Kingdom Hearts IV and the interactions they would have with Sora, Donald and Goofy. Then we get Encanto coming to theaters November 2021, not much is known about this film but it's set in Colombia, where a magical family lives in a magical home. It's too early to know if this will appear in the next Numbered title (KH4) like Raya, cause it will all come down to similarities to the environment with the other Disney worlds and whether Nomura and his team had finalized their world selection, but hey if Tron: Legacy and Big Hero 6 got included as worlds for Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts III respectively, then it wouldn't surprise me they might include this film as a world. Although it's too early to tell if this will become a world in a future KH game, Walt Disney Animation Studios has teamed with Kugali for the animated series, Iwájú, based on the comic book series by Fikayo Adeola, Hamid Ibrahim and Tolu Olowofoyeku. The series is set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria's capital city. The visuals of the concept art would look incredible for a Kingdom Hearts level plus the meaning: Pixar Animation Studios For Pixar's presentation, not only did we got footage of Soul coming to Disney+ December 25 (which would be a good discussion right here), but Pixar has announced new info on it's upcoming film Luca set to be released in Summer 2021. It's about a young boy named Luca experiencing an unforgettable summer with his new best friend in the beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera. Unfortunately for Luca, he has a deep secret: He is a sea monster from another world just below the water’s surface. While it's too early to know when to expect this film to become a world in the next KH game (due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and whether the world based on the film will be a retelling of the film or an original story like Toy Box and Monstropolis in Kingdom Hearts III at the request by Pixar, the film's description on Luca's friendship with his new friend, the Seaside Italian Riviera setting and Luca's secret of being a sea monster from another world, could serve as useful plot elements for the next games and do fit the themes seen in previous games in the Kingdom Hearts series. But before the Pixar section ended, Pixar has announced two new films coming in 2022: Turning Red which centers on a girl named Mei Lee who experiences the changes to her interests, relationships, and her body, but when she gets too excited she turns into a Giant Red Panda. The film will hit theaters in March 2022 Lightyear an origin story centered on the real Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy. The film reveals how a young test pilot became the Space Ranger that we all know him to be today. The film will hit theaters in June 2022. Although it's unlikely these Pixar films will be in KHIV, Lightyear could be an interesting inclusion to Kingdom Hearts and perhaps: What do you guys think of the Investor's meeting and your thoughts on the upcoming projects from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar respectively? Couldn't agree with you more, Coco is the one I'm most excited to see implemented into Kingdom Hearts as the themes of remembrance, memories, friendship and family do align with the theme common in most Kingdom Hearts games and it's going to be interesting which route they would take for a potential Coco world (prequel or sequel) as Pixar likes to have their worlds be original storylines over retellings as shown with Toy Box and Monstropolis. It's without a doubt one of my favorite Pixar films. For Moana, her journey on restoring the Heart of Te Fiti and the Islands decaying/dying due to Maui taking the Heart, do somewhat mirror the first KH game when Sora goes on his Journey to fight the darkness, plus I could see some good fun bonding moments and interactions between Moana and Kairi or Sora. I could see this film going either way but it wouldn't surprise me if this would become a world in the next KH game after Melody of Memory over Kingdom Hearts IV. Zootopia and Raya on the other hand are definitely shoo-ins for KH4 for sure.
  13. You actually bring up a good point that Baymax is a representation of a Vessel/Replica that the Real Organization want to use to complete their 13 darkness's which is why Young Xehanort is in the Toy Box world studying how the toys grow "hearts", and that Baymax's combat chip is his "heart". Although tbh it does feel unusual to have Data mentioned cause the original Big Hero 6 didn't have mention of that compared to Wreck-It Ralph and the Tron films As for Ralph not being included in KH3, like I said It wouldn't surprise me if Nomura and his team overheard that Disney was doing a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph (Ralph Breaks the Internet) since the film was announced in June 2016 and Season 2 of Union χ was announced in August of 2016 which they mentioned about a new Disney world never before seen, which is why he ended up as a link summon in the final game, and why Wreck-It Ralph became the Union χ world. Well for Tron all I know was that the Tron world dealt with Sora and the Gang trying to find research and information about the Organization and Riku & Kairi's whereabouts through Ansem's computer while at the same time dealing with Sark and especially the MCP who tried to take over Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden three times during KH2. In addition, Tron mentioned about the system being a copy of the original version from Encom which Ansem the Wise copied for his research before his banishment. Plus it dealt with data and being in a digital world For Dream Drop Distance, we actually visit The Grid (the original world where Space Paranoids orginated) and the one Tron mentioned back in KH2 while also delving deeper about Data in a Digital world being copied and manipulated during Young Xehanort and Xemnas' conversation with Sora (of course they were trying to mess with Sora). So to a degree Ralph and Tron do deal with data/coding compared to Big Hero 6, but much differently as Wreck-It Ralph is video game data/coding while with Tron it's computer data/coding. If they do go the Sequel route over the original film for the next game, then my biggest hope is that Union χ is remade as a console game or a full movie (similar to Back Cover) so that the story of the Wreck-It Ralph world is witnessed in Unreal Engine 4, cause some people don't have Union χ and refuse to do the filler missions and paying some medals. I also think it's going to be interesting what Disney films would be implemented for the next KH game:
  14. 4. You do bring a good point on why Ralph went to Union χ and it's reasons behind it, but yeah I still wished they had Wreck-It Ralph for KH3 cause like I said it would've been a spiritual successor to the Tron worlds from past KH games and would've worked well as a sub-world within Twilight Town at the Old Mansion, and I feel that Dark Riku would've worked as a much better antagonist for Wreck-It Ralph than Big Hero 6 IMAO, especially his mentioning of "Heart out of Data" and Data was more prevalent in Wreck-It Ralph and the Tron films (original and Legacy) than Big Hero 6. Plus, I also feel that Monster's Inc. should've been a world for Dream Drop Distance instead of KH3 (but that's a topic for another time) and I would've switched that world with Ralph. 3. Good point. I didn't thought of But it does raise the question if they would retell the movie's events, do an original storyline similar to Toy Box, Monstropolis and San Fransokyo or jump into Ralph Breaks the Internet instead? I think Sora when seeing the Disney Princesses will have the same reaction when meeting the Alternate versions of Jiminy Cricket and Mickey Mouse from DDD, the only one he hasn't meet is:
  15. Good eye but Tbh, going by the story missions in the Ralph world it's usually 2-5 missions and who knows what going to be revealed in January and/or February, but usually it's every 1 or 2 months for a new Union χ update. Think about it: June: Ralph destroys Vanellope's kart, then Player follows Ralph back to Niceland which is where Ralph discovers Vanellope on the Sugar Rush cabinet. July: Player and Ralph chase Sour Bill and head off to King Candy's castle to rescue Vanellope and Felix August: Player and Ralph rescue Vanellope and Felix September: None just Player heading to the race while battling boss. October: Vanellope heads to the race, Cy-Bugs attack Sugar Rush So, I expect December will be: While January/February is:
  16. I want to address a couple of things regarding the Wreck-It Ralph world in Union χ real quick: So the Wreck-It Ralph world (Game Central Station, Niceland, Cy-Bug Sector, Sugar Rush) when it was introduced in April 2019 according to Brain, isn't a data world projection from the past or future from the Book of Prophecies nor is it a world linked to the distant future, as the story events of the world are currently happening right now in the current timeline of Union χ, but why this past? Now if the Emblem Heartless didn't existed during the time of χ/Union χ and are merely projections from the Book of Prophecies in the various data Disney worlds, how come they appeared in the Wreck-it Ralph world if that world itself didn't came directly from the Book of Prophecies? Following the world's conclusion Union χ sometime soon in 2021, what's going to become of the world in the next KH game(s) coming up and whether or not they are going to retell the events of the film again in a future game, an original storyline or just jump to Ralph Breaks the Internet instead? One possibility they could do is: The idea is far-fetched, and I highly doubt it's ever going to happen when compared to Space Paranoids/The Grid, but it's something that is worth considering Sora never encountered Ralph aside from having him as a Link summon in KH3. Am I the only one who thinks that Wreck-It Ralph should've been used in Kingdom Hearts III instead of Union χ? I mean I actually longed for the film to appear since the film came out when KH3 entered development, plus I always considered that world and film as a successor to the Tron worlds from past KH games and would've worked well as a sub-world within Twilight Town at the Old Mansion, and I feel that Dark Riku would've worked better as the antagonist for Wreck-It Ralph than Big Hero 6 especially his mentioning of "Heart out of Data" which I'm going to be honest I don't even recall the original Big Hero 6 movie talk about "Data" when compared to the Tron films (original and Legacy) and Wreck-It Ralph which seems to have more mentioning of Data than Big Hero 6. It wouldn't surprise me if Wreck-it Ralph was actually one of the worlds Nomura and his team has chosen during the development of KH3 but was scrapped very late in production when they heard that Disney was doing a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph (Ralph Breaks the Internet), which is why he ended up as a link summon in the final game, and why Wreck-It Ralph became the Union χ world.
  17. It's also due to Dark Road as well since this was the game's first update in a while after it's last chapter back in July or August 2020. But yeah new updates for Union χ is usually every 1 or 2 months, with the last update for Union χ dating back in late October of 2020. I expect we might complete the Wreck-It Ralph world by January/February of 2021 (depending on how much is covered), so here's how I think what's going to happen next for this month's Union χ update and the next ones: Come to think of it, we only have been in Ralph's world for 20 months right now (April 2019-December 2020) compared to how long the case of Strelitzia's murder had lasted (3-4 years) and season 2 of Union χ (August 16, 2016).
  18. Now with the release of Melody of Memory here is the Final listing of the worlds that appeared in the game The ONLY Disney worlds (aside from Deep Jungle) that didn't return to Melody of Memory are:
  19. I think portions of Dark World/Realm of Darkness from 0.2 BBS (the Destiny Islands fragment section) were shown in the trailer.
  20. You're absolutely right even the Tokyo Game Show preview during the gameplay experience last month also featured Monstro as a world and the Maleficent Boss Battle was in Enchanted Dominion so that's 2 Disney worlds confirmed from the Trailers and previews so far so I'll update the listing. Finally, since it's going to be 31 Disney Worlds, and from the recent Gameplay from TGS last month, It seems that Deep Jungle (Tarzan) will be the only Disney world not returning in Melody of Memory due to the Edgar Rice Burroughs estate holding the rights to the Tarzan License after the world's only appearance in the first Kingdom Hearts game.
  21. I know the discussion is through the main chat of Melody of Memory and this thread is predictable, but I want to create this thread on the worlds that will appear in the game, Melody of Memory. From what we know the game will have 47 worlds (31 Disney worlds and 16 original worlds) Confirmed: Disney: Wonderland Agrabah Olympus Coliseum Monstro Atlantica Halloween Town Neverland The Land of Dragons Beast's Castle Pride Lands Enchanted Dominion Disney Town Deep Space Country of the Musketeers Toy Box Arendelle Original Worlds: Destiny Islands Traverse Town Hollow Bastion End of the World Radiant Garden Keyblade Graveyard Castle Oblivion Twilight Town Mysterious Tower The World that Never Was Dive to the Heart Realm of Darkness/Dark World (0.2 BBS Destiny Islands section so far) Land of Departure The Final World So far 30 worlds confirmed and 17 remain so here are my likely obvious expectations for the remaining worlds:
  22. It seems that the Wreck-It Ralph's world won't continue until November and lasts until December 2020/January 2021 unless tomorrow will show a little bit of the world.
