  1. Eh I’ll agree the game was definitely overloaded with options but I liked that about it. Given it was the finale/a celebration of the series up to that point, having almost every game in the series represented mechanically was really neat. Some features could’ve used better balancing but it wasn’t so bad that it took me out of it. On Critical with Attractions turned off I find the game to be a really good challenge.
  2. I mean weve got wallrunning, sliding, flowmotion, some sort of keyblade transformation-like mechanic, its definitely using 3 as a base 3 definitely has a lot of flash, but i honestly enjoy its combat the most as someone who enjoys a good technical challenge, but im not a combo junkie. On Critical I think it has a good balance of style and substance
  3. Hard agree If the trailer is any indication, KH4 seems to be basically KH3 with a grappling hook and reaction commands which is chefs kiss Of course theres definitely new mechanics we havent seen yet but this is a good foundation
  4. It’s definitely a more shallow system and overall less enjoyable than the main system but it’s still fun imo.
  5. No ill will towards either video, I just find this funny
  6. Honestly I liked the Command Deck. It’s no KH2 or KH3 combat system and it’s full of holes and balancing issues but that’s kind of the fun of it. It’s fun to give yourself just a bonkers moveset. Of course for KH4 all I need is for KH3’s mechanics to be expanded upon which already seems to be the goal. I want to hit things with a key very fast
  7. Do you think Sora has toxic fans in Quadratum?
  8. MoM and Sora interacting is one of the most exciting things that could happen soon
  9. that's amazing but also... kairi in keyblade warrior training gear (i.e. what everyone in land of departure wore)
  10. I'm really looking forward to KH4 but also I don't need it to really be anything specific. Obviously I want the game to be good but I'm not banking on the game completely overshadowing all that came before or fulfilling some sort of desperate desire I have for the series. While some entries I enjoy more than others, KH has been a pretty consistently enjoyable experience from me from start to finish and I'm fully invested in Nomura's wild ride. I say this because I think its good to manage expectations and not put too much stock in a game being EVERYTHING you want it to be before it even comes out.
  11. I considered that fact which is why I didn't immediately think it was Luxord at first But when you consider that Re Mind starts with Luxord's identity being questioned, it makes perfect sense that Re Mind would end providing an answer A vague answer tbf but we take what we can get with this series Why else would the only significant difference in the ending for beating Yozora be hearing the driver speak?
  12. Honestly any move that gives keyblades more individuality and purpose is always a plus That's why I love keyblade transformations and the ability to upgrade keyblades so much It makes getting new keyblades feel less like a cosmetic stat boost and more like a new tool to experiment with
  13. Oh, Ansem the Wise... sort of. Its more of an orange, but hey thats some variety still
  14. I'm really struggling to think of any KH characters with brown eyes. Only one that comes to mind is pre-Nort Braig. and maybe KH2 Terra-Nort if you REALLY wanna stretch it.
  15. I think the green eyes make perfect sense in the context of his character. Most of the heroes of light have blue eyes, and yellow eyes are mostly associated with darkness (the heartless, xehanort, etc). Green is perfectly between those two colors, representing how Riku perfectly balances the two Tho now that my attention has been drawn to it, its kind of ridiculous how many KH characters have blue eyes, its like 90% of the cast who arent norts
  16. True, but it could potentially be reworded into something else, its not exactly uncommon for new mechanics like that to be introduced
  17. I know he's pretty strongly associated with the black coat, but I would love to see Luxu get some proper Foreteller drip now that hes back with the rest of the squad
  18. I was kind of excited that it seemed there was only one character left with the coat (at least without a face reveal) but I’m probably wrong
  19. So who do you guys think the other black coat was with the master of masters
  20. The KH3 drip is hard to top imo Like I’d fr want to wear that outfit irl
  21. Gonna need to sit with it a bit to see where it ranks, at the moment KH3 is still my favorite Sora design
  22. Not that I mind resolution, I mean that’s what made KH3 so exciting and was the best part of it But this is very fresh Like KH4 doesn’t need to surpass KH3 for me, it just needs to be interesting
