It’ll be fun to see how folks react to it now that they realise it’s important and will no doubt be revisiting it now. Makes me really eager to see what kind of big moments are coming for Brain (and maybe Sigurd?) in ML.
-
I mean, there were so many reasons to skip it. Mobile, gacha, slow-burn, “kiddie” graphics, no Sora… I’ve seen these reasons and so many more why UX just didn’t appeal to a lot of players. And I don’t blame them for giving it a pass honestly! But having kept up with UX over the years it was active made for so many exciting moments in the community like Ven, Laurium, and Elrena, the Strelitzia factor, the Keyblade War… the game really has some banger moments.

I’ve been bingeing trailer reaction videos (they feed my soul) and the number of people who were like “yo wait who is this??” when Strelitzia showed up in the KH4 trailer and Brain in the ML trailer was very telling how so many otherwise dedicated fans just completely skipped UX. So yeah, I don’t care what kind of gacha elements or filler they throw into Missing Link; you best believe I’m gonna be in there day 1.

It’s like the MCU to me. I get why you might watch them in canon chronological order for fun, but I would never recommend that to someone starting fresh. You start that journey with Iron Man 1, just like you start this with Kingdom Hearts 1.

Release order is basically always the optimal was to play/view,

All good

I already did lol I just don’t have any followers haha

My main takeaway from the Missing Link trailer is how they continued a long-running Kingdom Hearts tradition

That said, they might shift from the standalone "Avengers" moniker for future team-up ensemble films. Maybe A-Force, since it was teased in Endgame, or other similar team-ups.

For the record, there's no confirmation that this is the end for Avengers films; it's just the end of The Infinity Saga. They've still got a huge slate of upcoming MCU movies (Spider-Man: Far From Home, Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, etc.) and TV shows (Loki, WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, etc.), so it's nowhere near the end for the MCU.

Hard agree! I love all the characters/actors that only showed up in one or two movies who came back just for one scene in this. Natalie Portman/Jane Foster Tilda Swinton/The Ancient One Robert Redford/Alexander Pierce Rene Russo/Frigga Frank Grillo/Brock Rumlow Ty Simpkins/Harley Keener Maximiliano Hernandez/Agent Sitwell John Slattery/Howard Stark James D’Arcy/Edwin Jarvis (he wasn’t even in the movies! They brought him back from the Agent Carter TV show!) And I’m sure there are a few more that I’m forgetting.

Yeah, I heard thAt he was going to be in it, but it felt kind of strange to just throw him in there with no prior reminder.
-
Yeah, I didn’t mention that because Clint is still alive and well, so his show will make sense regardless. Also, for the record, I am HELLA down for Asgardians of the Galaxy.
-
Oh yeah, they could easily just throw us a bunch of prequel/midquel shows and movies, but that almost feels like a cop out . That said, I’d totally be down for Black Widow’s movie to cover the notorious Budapest saga.

Will Thor be in that?
