Yup, but the franchise was more "new" at that point, and it was expanding. At this point, as KH is established, I don't see anyone from back cover except maybe Ava carrying a game

I don't think they care for that kind of feedback lol Depends, if it's to move the plot on for 4 then yeah Riku can carry the game. Kairi too I guess but doubtful because that would require Nomura to acknowledge her jk, but I don't think she's really strong enough to play as besides maybe a tutorial character
