thats why we got a kh mobile game with official canon story

man that just reminded me of how the ultimania says kh2 and 3 happen less than a month apart in the timeline and I just DONT like that

KH3 was kind of doomed to not be everyones favorite game

eh DDD is like 3.5

eh I'd say the team behind KH2 cant be faulted for what came after as post KH2 as several of the members left the team KH2 being the game to start making the FF characters irrelevant isnt a fault of kh2, but the current writing teams and to some extent nomuras choices in narrative direction

like the ultimate decision to change the fact that Sora wasnt the only keyblade wielder is a good choice its just they turned everybody into one thats the problem KH2 is what I'd call "endgame syndrome" where you created a story that wraps up quite nicely and now youre forced to branch out the story and experiment see what works and what dont this will ultimatley lead to things as good as aquas sacrifice for terra to "its time you saw what hurt feels like" KH3 is kind of the "Avengers: Doomsday" if you will of the series where it has the responsibility of taking the concepts of the experimental games and combine them back together in 1 narrative

KH2s story did indeed begin the trend of the retcons, but I think retcons are actually good for a series health if done correctly

implying KH2 made the series "fall" is a statement that makes me feel a mixture of pity and indigestion

I mean it may be brutally honest but I know there many people are gullible enough to givegive good money for their waifu JPEGS

Spending money on gatcha games is also for stupid people because that game won’t exist in like 5 years unless it’s really popular

I still think the game should be repurposed into a monster hunter style co op game for consoles similar to the design mentality of 358/2

I think missing link would've been successful, but not successful enough to last more than 2 years before EoS
