3D is the worst characterization for Sora by far Base kh3 isn’t much better Remind fixed it I blame the fact the team of writers behind every game before 3D left and now we have….these guys KH3 has very stilted dialogue despite the fact they only made 1 localization for it despite every game before having multiple to “focus on the English versions script”

Sora has a very VERY obscure reason to go world to world in kh3 A reason that ULTIMATELY is revealed to be meaningless as Sora had the power in him all along Making the ENTIRE journey up till the point feel shallow and devoid of purpose the fact yen sid himself basically says “your power of waking could come from anything so just…..do whatever” is by far the loosest mode vapid excuse to travel in these games I’m gonna stop here cause I’m just regurgitating points I’ve made before at this point. But as a game, kh3 is good, as a story, I can’t stand the base games story.

The fact the villains have no real reason to keep Sora alive and killing him early on is actually WAY easier than letting him regain his strength makes the whole thing feel awkward

And does their best to get Roxas to reveal himself through Sora when they do encounter him Only after Sora knows a lot about what the organizations plan is do they start trying to kill him.

The organization in kh2 intentionally avoids Sora

Because the villains are there but they only ever kinda mock Sora and speak in riddles It’s basically what would’ve happened if kh1 and 2 had the villains ridicule Sora and at the very end of the world, Sora just doesn’t…..fight them

I respect the way remind was a big old bandage on the gaping maw that was kh3 base version, but It was virtually impossible for them to fix some of the damage that had been done

Made the finale more meaningful, gave characters who did NOT get enough time in 3 a chance to shine

He was genuinely tired of the kh concepts that got us here Which is…..not great for a finale to this “saga” But remind at the very least fixed a lot of my gripes

So picking up where I left off in I think KH3 did a lot to try and progress the series forward, without focusing enough on concluding things between certain characters Having basically every secret report in kh3 be a little teaser trailer for the next KH game was nice, but also a wasted opportunity to explain more about the powers and elements to used in kh3 itself
