Generations is still a great game. One of the better sonic games. The story is just so boring.

Yeah. But Sega wanted to go in a new direction with Sonic starting with colors. Wanted to be aimed more towards 5 year olds. And they hired writers that never played a sonic game and knew little to nothing about the character. Great choice Sega. ?

I grew up with DX But the dreamcast graphics look better to me. Especially the lighting. The models don’t look shiny anymore because of the lighting.

The best way to play it is the steam version + the better SADX mod. The mod gives it the original Dreamcast lighting and graphics. Plus it fixes plenty of bugs the game has. There’s even an option to activate Super Sonic in the stage.
