Makes sense This year I dont feel like doing all that, I just got him a couple games and I'm throwing them in a box and wrapping it like normal

well 1, I dont follow KHinsider, I have no clue what they do. the only KH news sources I follow are 13 and the official KH page, I just came across that meme when scrolling Twitter. 2, I would say spoilers in a news article is fine as long as it's either covered with a box like on discord how you can do or if it's in a seperate paragraph that is told beforehand "Spoilers for X in the next paragraph" or something similar to that. and 3, again I never said they dont have the RIGHT to put spoilers where they want, they totally can, but if someone is spoiled that's their responsibility for it happening.

Like, Jojo part 6 was made 19 years ago. If a jojo news site on twitter posts a comment that spoils the end of Part 6, which a lot of people haven't read yet, is it somehow OK? I don't see that as OK. Especially since many people are waiting on the part 6 anime. Sure they're in their rights, nobody is arguing otherwise, all I'm saying is it's kinda not cool to do so. All it really does is make LESS people wanna go to that site in the future Kind of counter productive if you ask me it is still partially their responsibility. I said they have the RIGHT to, not that they dont have that responsibility. Sure, you have the RIGHT to do many things, but it's still your responsibility if a negative affect is the outcome

That doesnt fix the problem that an official news source is spoiling the game. It's kind of not really the best look to be spoiling the plot to the game, no matter how old it is. These websites put spoiler warnings for a reason. Just because Metal Gear solid 2 is 15 years old doesnt mean that Metal gear Informer is exempt if they say Sure, if someone doesnt wanna be spoiled, they should avoid that, but if that comes onto their timeline there should be warning beforehand that "Hey theres a spoiler here, for mgs2, dont click" Spoiler warnings exist for a reason it kind of is. Dude, you're taking issue with me bringing up a concern I have towards their media, saying "Hey you guys should probably not do that" and making it some huge deal. At the end of the day, it's KH13 putting out a spoiler without some type of warning, if someone gets spoiled of KH3 inadvertently then that ultimately falls on KH13 for not having a spoiler warning or something covering it up

i mean there are people on the KH subreddit playing through all the games right now to get to 3. There were some really good games in the past year so it makes sense a lot of people would still be going through them all at this stage, it would just suck for those guys to get spoiled over a little joke. Not trying to be the joke police or anything, just that there were better things that could have been put there. Especially since the original post was Axel and Kairi and the banner is Kairi and Xehanort. It just ends up not even being a really good punchline anyway, even if it was funny You gotta remember if you take a month per game, itll still take you about 6 to 10 months (depending if they just binge through the movies of coded, 358, and back cover, then play 0.2 in 1 sitting) to get to 3. So of someone started playing the games shortly after 3 released they might not have even gotten to that part. I had a friend who was going through the series and it took him like 12 months cuz he was so busy. Does that mean it would have been okay for him to have gotten 3 spoiled for him cuz he only just got to it in july, 5 months after the game released? All I am saying is a KH news site shouldnt be spoiling the games, no matter how long theyve been out Theres a difference between a fan spoiling a game, and a official news source spoiling a game and what if it gets retweeted by someone? an official news source is much more likely to be retweeted than some random dude It's the responsibility of a news site to avoid spoilers, I would argue That's why spoiler warnings exist It KIND of is. They shouldnt be putting a poiler RIGHT THERE where people are going to see it, unless its something like Discord where you can cover up the spoiler

I understand that, I still feel it isn't really a good look. Even spoiling KH1 despite it being like 14 years old isnt a great look, some people want to play the games or see the story and just haven't yet, you know? I don't normally come in this server but I felt this was a concern I should bring up since I doubt my comment will be seen on twitter since theres 148 replies rn lol
