    Riku barely has any relationships with girls besides Kairi, and she'll likely end up with Sora if a canon pairing is actually made. There's nobody, male or female, you could pair Riku with (besides Sora) without forcing it.

    Nomura had this to say about the lack of FF characters in the trailer: "But the reason you haven't been shown any Final Fantasy characters is that there are so many original characters that need to resolve their own problems and issues. And because their issues and problems are very difficult, there just hasn't been that much space to fit Final Fantasy characters so far." So it's just a matter of the FF characters being shafted for the original characters because ultimately the FF characters just aren't relevant to the series anymore. Though I do think the Restoration Committee will turn up at the very least.

    I don't think the world count is a bad thing necessarily since we've already how expansive the worlds. Mind you I was praying for Treasure Planet.

    Yeah for real Nimoy was perfect. With that said Xehanort's new voice has grown on me a bit, but it's just not... gravelly enough?

    That's actually a fairly good point and my point may have been fairly... misguided or underdeveloped. Thanks for this reply it's allowed me to consider a new perspective. While I still don't think that file size is an accurate indicator of total content, in the case of Kingdom Hearts it would certainly mean something.

    Not particularly interested in VR but I have access to PSVR at my uni so I'll probably see if my lecturer doesn't mind me installing this onto the system.

    I'm guessing, or maybe this was already said somewhere (I seem to remember the Bring Arts figure saying something about Braveheart), that Braveheart may very well be the Keyblade of the Realm Between, similarly to how the Kingdom Key is the Keyblade of the Realm of Light. Just a guess.

    I mean I'm overreacting for sure and I'm sorry about that but it's a misconception that really does need to be adressed imo. The playtime estimation came from a Square Enix rep apparently which could be an over/under-estimation. It in all likeliness just means uncompressed audio and video files.

    As I've already said file size doesn't equate to the amount of content! To answer your question however the plot is about 40 hours but the game with all the side content is about 60 - 80 hours iirc.

    No worries I had to make sure the word was out as fast as possible, though I think the staff had made a tweet shortly before I made the thread. Yeah avoiding spoilers should be easy enough as long as you're careful.

    I imagine that Disney will be furiously unleashing the old cease and desist one-two on youtube at least. I think things'll be fine just so long as you steer clear of 4chan (or use MANY filters), and don't go looking for spoilers. Of course be cautious when you look for Kingdom Hearts content.

    I mean yeah the graphics in KH3 are pretty but as are the graphics in Persona 5 and the other two games you just mentioned as well.

    Exactly this. Doesn't really matter if Square Enix intervenes or not at this point. By the time all the copies have been tracked down, which I doubt they're going to do in all honesty (they'll probably just stop at making sure no more copies are leaked), somebody will already have completed the game and be ready with whatever videos and screenshots they need to spoil the game for others.

    I can't believe I've read the sentence "Persona 5 isn't really 3D". Of course it is. This also doesn't refute the fact Persona 5 has a 90 hour main story despite being half the file size. The point is that file size =/= content.

    That's not true though, not even remotely so. Remember that a game like Persona 5 also has 100+ hours of content and is only half the total file size of KHIII. What it likely means is a lot of uncompressed audio/high-resolution movie files not necessarily more things to do. Also bare in mind that we've had games with astronomical amounts of content that weight in at a few hundred mega-bytes.

    Being that he's selling these on Facebook it shouldn't be too hard to find out who it is and deal with him. Of course there are now 30 copies of the game, possibly more, in the wild which is going to be harder to deal with.

    Whaddup friends! I'm Analogman. The name is taken from the villain of the original Digimon World game because I thought it sounded pretty damn cool. I'm a games design student from the UK hoping to get into the industry someday as a 3D modeller (the specifics beyond that I'm currently unsure of). I've been playing Kingdom Hearts games since I was about 14 years old, having dabbled with Days and later playing Birth by Sleep and going from there. I enjoy a wide variety of video games, but JRPGs are what I tend to focus my time into. I also watch anime (though not as much recently) and play the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. Some quick stuff I suppose Favourite Video Games? Xenoblade Chronicles is probably my favourite game of all time, but some others include: KH2FM, Persona 5, Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Metal Gear Solid 3, and Digimon World. Favourite Anime? Probably Clannad? Haruhi Suzumiya, and Cowboy Bebop are pretty high up on my list though. Favourite Kingdom Hearts Character? Xehanort for sure. Love that old coot he's absolutely one of my favourite villains in fiction. Riku is like joint favourite -- absolute unit that lad is. Favourite Movie? Treasure Planet I suppose? I don't watch many movies honestly

    Oh yeah forgot about distribution centres haha. My brain aint quite working today I guess. Yeah that makes way more sense than being in a retail store.

    Actually after some research it's very much possible that these copies were indeed stolen from a retail store as apparently over 30 copies of the game have been sold on Facebook. I contacted Square Enix to make sure they're aware and I'm hoping others have done the same.

    It's possible that somebody got hold of a copy as a QA tester or something. I think something similar happened with Devil May Cry V earlier this year. That'd be the thing that makes sense to me since I can't imagine stores would have retail copies yet, but I wouldn't know anything about that honestly.

    The full retail game seems to have been leaked online and somebody has been posting footage of the game and also offering to sell copies on Facebook. I haven't done found out more specifics as of yet because I didn't want to get spoiled myself but I felt I had to come here and warn fellow fans about this leak. Be wary on your online travels, friends.

    Went on 4Chan to check stuff out and apparently the leaks are indeed fake, and have been posted multiple times. "he's been changing his leak every couple months posting under the same image. He messed up by claiming simba isn't a summon in one of them and completely forgetting about the MoM box every time he posts it" - quote from a thread best to stay vigilant just in case though
