    Naminé nodded and moved her gaze back to where the boys were fighting. ‘This won’t end well...” A loud crack followed, eliciting a shriek more piercing than the last from Owen. He clutched at his nose to stifle the bleeding before a wildness overtook him, Owen dove to grasp Roxas’s neck. Sora couldn’t hold his anger back any longer, seeing Travis’s wandering gaze. ‘He isn’t even taking me seriously!’ Sora grabbed the front of his shirt and slammed him harder against the column. A crack spiderwebbed across the marble. “Listen,” Sora seethed, “I won’t let you ever touch her again. Ever. Do you understand?”

    Naminé yelped slightly when Kairi pulled her, but her relief quickly became evident seeing her other half unharmed. “You’re okay?” Owen released an audible grunt as his back hit the wall, but his eyes danced despite the pain, seeming to relish the boy’s anger. “Boyfriend to the rescue, huh?” Sora followed Roxas’s suit, grabbing Travis by the arm that had slithered towards Kairi’s chest and using it to throw the creep against a nearby column. “You don’t get away with this!”

    "Heh, how heroic," Owen jeered, "What do you think Naminé?" He grabbed her face, making her look from him to Roxas. "Your white knight here to save you~" Naminé kept her focus on Kairi and refused to answer. Kairi...! Naminé thought desperately as Travis's hand moved closer to her chest. She knew the red head had a plan, but this was getting close. Too close. When she saw her best friend's hard stomp, however, she mimicked the motion with as much furor as she could muster and dug her heel down on Owen's toes. Owen shrieked and hopped away from her, a flurry of swear words dropping from his lips. Sora exchanged a silent look with his other. Ready?

    "No way!" Sora protested, he started towards Travis with growing fury, "I'm not going anywhere. Not without Kairi and Naminé." Though, Sora wasn't as concerned with the blonde girl with his Nobody in tow. Roxas would make sure Naminé was safe. Naminé caught Kairi's movements and nodded. They would just have to wait for the right moment... Owen tightened his grip on Naminé and skimmed his nose along the side of her cheek, breathing in deeply. "Mmm, this bothers you huh? I don't see the problem. Don't you have your own little fan club now anyway?" Naminé stiffened and looked to Kairi again. She would wait for the red head's cue. I just hope that's soon...

    Automatically, Sora's body coiled itself into a fighting pose. Magic tingled at the tips of his fingertips, the keyblade close to materializing. He wanted to say that he was her boyfriend, but after Noel, Sora didn't feel right making such an assertion. "I'm one of her best friends," Sora shot back, "So, I suggest you back off now!"

    Sora felt his blood run cold at the sound of Kairi's cry. Those guys..Sora growled in his mind. He looked back at Roxas. "It sounds like they're still by the bathrooms." Which amplified his disgust tenfold. ​How sick do you have to be to follow girls to the bathroom? Did no one have standards these days? Thankfully, Sora was able to spot Kairi quickly. A burst of anger, however, leaked into his voice when saw her imprisoned state. "Let her go!" He jabbed a finger at Kairi's assailant. The grip the stranger had on the red head was especially disturbing, and Sora had to control the urge to knock the grin off his face with Kingdom Key.

    Sora shook his head and got out of his seat. "Let's go find them. This is taking too long." His heart was aching again too. I just hope that whatever's going on, they're okay. "Nah, I rather like Naminé," Owen answered. The way he said her name made Naminé want to throw up. Why had she ever even told him? "Though...I'm not opposed to taking turns, are you, Travis?" "Leave us alone!" Naminé protested, though her airy voice was muffled by his hand.

    "Kai--" Naminé began to scream, but Owen put a hand over her mouth and brought her slim frame against his. Naminé could feel his fingers digging into her hips. "Shh, no need to fight," Owen said with a tight grin, "Travis and I are good guys. Promise. We just want to get to know you ladies a little better." Owen brought his lips closer to Naminé's ear, breath hot against her skin. "I'm sure your little friend has taught you how take measurements, right?" Naminé fought against his grip harder at that. Horror filling her eyes.

    "Right," Naminé agreed, releasing a shaky breath. This was nothing compared to what they've gone through in the past. Just a couple of stupid college guys. Naminé walked out first, keeping her expression cold. "Hey, baby, long time no see," one of the guys called out with his toothy grin still intact. Naminé recognized him instantly. Owen. She turned to Kairi, ignoring him despite her pounding heart. "What do we do?" she whispered.

    "Haha, yeah. Maybe she's taught her little blonde friend a thing or two. You know what they always say about the shy ones~" the other guy crowed. "Do we head out now?" Naminé asked. Was it safe for them to leave? The voices...this was a public place though...right? They wouldn't really try anything where other people could see...?

    "What are you talking about? You mean the...poster thing?" Sora whispered back with growing concern. Another patron loudly shushed him, but Sora ignored it. Did they need to follow them now? The movie still played, but Sora was deaf to the sound now. "It's okay. I was feeling uncomfortable too," Naminé confessed. Though the comments weren't all directed towards her, Naminé's skin crawled from the voices. One of them was oddly familiar too...

    Sora frowned. What had happened? When the girls left, Sora moved closer to Roxas. "Did I miss something?" Kairi looked upset... The other friend practically jumped out of his seat. "This'll be fun." They just had to be fast before their friends figured things out. Waiting only a brief moment, the two boys then followed with ghoulish grins painted on their faces.

    "What's wrong?" Sora mouthed to Kairi. He hadn't heard the comments given that his attention was focused entirely on the movie. "Heh, I wonder if she'll take our measurements," the other snickered loudly. Naminé nodded and got up to follow Kairi wordlessly. She could use a break too. Those guys were starting to creep her out.

    Naminé watched the movie, the actors a collection of ever moving figures across the screen; fiery explosions often followed in their wake. Naminé leaned forward in her seat a little when the villain walked into the frame. She was tall, slender, and had sharp green eyes that reminded her of Larexene. Her fists clenched, but her gaze was torn from the screen when she heard an unfamiliar voice above her. "Isn't that those two girls again?"

    "Mmm, what?" Sora asked. His eyes strayed to the screen now as the last preview faded into a reminder to turn your cell phones off. Sora used his free hand to reach for his phone; he set the volume to silence. Naminé nearly dropped the sea salt bite at sudden proximity, feeling a heavy blush rise into her cheeks. She was thankful it was so dark in the theater. "I must be pretty special then," Naminé murmured. She couldn't help but wonder if he was like this with any other girls? So...flirty? Was that the right word? She certainly liked him as more than a friend...

    "I put extra butter on it," Sora said between another mouthful of popcorn, "and salt." As the previews rolled on, Sora wondered if Kairi felt happy to be here with him. It wasn't an official date, but it felt like one. Well, a double date...Sora thought, looking to Roxas and Naminé. Naminé stifled a giggle behind her hand. Silly boy. "Really? Hmm...maybe I should try one?" She caught his eyes and reached towards the bag.

    "This time," Sora replied with dancing eyes, "but only because I get free refills." Though, in truth, Sora would always share with Kairi. Whatever she wanted or needed. "How are they?" Naminé asked teasingly. She knew the answer already, but his expression was adorable.

    Naminé took her snacks with a happy hum and followed Roxas to meet up with Sora and Kairi. She wondered briefly if they looked like they were on a date--that she minded. It was kind of like one... Sora, who had bought a bucket of popcorn before coming into the screening room, munched happily. The movie hadn't started yet, but the bag was refillable, and he was hungry. "Want some?" Sora asked after swallowing.

    "Okay," Naminé finally agreed, "but I'm going to draw you something in return. Your choice." Roxas always seemed to like her art. He had a habit of watching her while she sketched--not that she minded. The company was nice. Sora watched her expression shift, lingering on the hint of fear in her eyes before handing her the lid. "Alright...I guess we should get seats then."

    She tilted her head, eyes worried. "I don't want to make you spend too much munny on me though." He really was sweet to her. Sometimes Naminé wondered what she did to deserve such a sweet guy in her life. "Yeah, sure," Sora said and turned around to reach for a lid. He hesitated for a moment, seeing Kairi's uneasy expression. Had something else happened. "You sure you're okay?" When he looked behind, the group of boys was still there, but they weren't eyeing Kairi like a pack of hungry wolves.

    "You and your sea salt," Naminé giggled, nudging him slightly. His predictability, however, was adorable. "I'm still not sure. Chocolate sounds good right now, but so does something fruity..." She placed a finger to her bottom lip thoughtfully. Why was this such a tough choice? The guys watching her snickered, one even pointing before looking back to something on his phone. "Whoa, need a napkin?" Sora asked, coming over to her side. His frame now obscured the group. "I can clean this up if you want to go wash your hands?" Sticky hands were never good.

    Soon an hour had passed and the four teens were at the movie theater getting concessions. Naminé eyed the glass display with pursed lips. What would she get this time? She liked chocolates, but fruity sweets were nice too..."What are you going to get, Roxas?"

    Naminé looked over and cast the blond a smile. "See you in a little bit." "Kairi's right. She and Selphie could be ready in record time back on the islands when we were kids," Sora added, lifting himself up and walking towards the door. His eyes lingered on Kairi. "It'll be fun. Promise."

    "A movie sounds good," Naminé agreed, "What time were you thinking of going?" Naminé hadn't seen many movies, but the experience, she had learned quickly, was enjoyable. Unless it's a horror movie... "We could head out in an hour or so," Sora suggested, glancing at the time on his phone. They could make a 7 o'clock movie for sure if they left before six.

    "They'll show themselves eventually," Sora said with hard eyes. People like them always did. "And when they do, they better be ready to take responsibility for their actions."
