I doubt it. Could be wrong, but it's unlikely. E3 is less than 2 months away. Generally, this is the period where real official info is scarce and rumors run rampant. And rumor season is indeed in full swing, boosted by the possibility of the NX reveal amongst many other things. Lots of things I've heard sound too good to be true as well, so just take all info not from the horse's mouth with a grain of salt.

I'm definitely looking forward to this. I love Star Wars. Yet, I find my excitement for my movies greatly diminished. 11-year-old pre-internet me would have lost it if I had known a new trilogy and then some were coming out. (Yes, I was excited for and loved Episode I as a kid. Many of my friends back then were the same.) I enjoyed Episode 7, but it didn't have quite the same effect on me as it probably would have on 11-year old me. Guess it's because I'm a grown up now. Seriously, being a grown up sucks. And the fact I hung out in Star Wars fan communities when I was in my teen years. You'll never find a more wretched hive of anger and pessimism.

TPC has been particularly trolly in regards to releasing information on these games. At first on that Pokemon show in japan they teased the "First showing of Pokemon Sun/Moon on TV," or something along those lines. The thing is they meant exactly that, meaning they showed the Nintendo Direct video on TV for the first time, with no new stuff. Then Corocoro teased info for April last month and this month we got this. I think they are enjoying this as well. Heh.

It's definitely strange. From what I have seen, hackers have been able to run GC games near-flawlessly on Wii U via Wii mode, so "emulation" wouldn't be an issue, I would think? They could have run them like the Wii game downloads you can buy on the eShop. Maybe it's something different, like the triggers, as stated above, I dunno. I imagine it could come to NX, but I really don't know. If Nintendo was smart, they would launch NX with a whole mess of VC games; some Gamecube and Wii Games the entire Wii/Wii U/3DS library of VC titles and then some. Heck, throw in Dreamcast even! But, Nintendo doesn't always do what seems logical. They do things their own way, regardless of the reception. Yet, I hope they realize that if they want to make money on the NX, then they'll really have to offer up what their fans want, bringing out the big guns. We'll see in due time. No later than E3, hopefully.
