Back in September 2017, it was announced that there will be a new Kingdom Hearts Bring Arts figure of Sora in his new Second Form from Kingdom Hearts III that will be releasing in 2018. This new Drive Form of Sora's was first shown off in the Kingdom Hearts III - Orchestra Trailer. Second Form is tied to the Kingdom Key Keyblade and gives Sora's outfit the same colors as his Kingdom Hearts II outfit, and allows Sora to use abilities from Kingdom Hearts II and the first Kingdom Hearts, similar to how Limit Form worked in Kingdom Hearts II. So, the figure will also come with the Kingdom Key Keyblade. Now, it has been revealed that the Sora (Second Form) Bring Arts figure will be available to purchase at D23 Expo Japan 2018. The figure will cost ¥6,264 (approx. $56.69 USD), tax included. D23 Expo Japan 2018 will take place from February 10th - 12th, 2018. This figure is also a part of the D23 pre-order lottery, where it's available with only 2,000 copies. Thanks to KH13 staff member Mio-chan for the translations! Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura has previously stated that "Second Form" is only a tentative name for the time being so this new Drive Form will possibly get a name change in the future. There are two Kingdom Hearts Crown Watches that will be available to purchase at D23 Expo Japan 2018 as well. They're also part of the D23 pre-order lottery with only 30 copies available of each. Check out more about them in the article here. UPDATE [Jan 20, 2018]: It has been revealed by Previews World that the Sora (Second Form) Bring Arts figure will be releasing May 30, 2018, and will be available to purchase for $59.99 USD. You can find out if you can pre-order it from your local comic shop here. What do you guys think about this figure? Will you be buying it as a companion to your Play Arts Kai figure of Kingdom Hearts III Sora, the upcoming Bring Arts figure of Sora's Kingdom Hearts III Guardian Form, or the upcoming Bring Arts figures of Sora, Donald, and Goofy from the Toy Story world in Kingdom Hearts III? Square Enix have revealed, during the Nintendo Direct Mini (1.11.2018), that The World Ends With You: Final Remix will be releasing later this year with upgraded graphics, Joy-Con support, touchscreen controls, and a sizable new scenario! You can watch the announcement below, starting at 0:19. Last year, Square Enix had infact stated that they have an interest in porting older games to the Nintendo Switch With CEO, Yosuke Matsuda, stating that they will not rule out any IP’s for the Nintendo Switch. It worth noting that the possibility of the previous Kingdom Hearts games coming to the Nintendo Switch is not to be completely ruled out either, according to series director Tetsuya Nomura. Previously, The World Ends With You characters where among the first of Square Enix’s IP’s (other than Final Fantasy) to be featured in the Kingdom Hearts series. In both Sora’s and Riku’s stories in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, during the farewell scenes between them and The World Ends With You characters, there were hints pointing towards the return of the characters and Sora reuniting with them in Shibuya. Spoiler For instance, before Riku leaves, Beat tells him that he and Rhyme with “catch up” with him “soon."In Sora’s farewell scene, Shiki suggests to Sora to “come hang out” in her town. Neku concurs, and tells Sora, “See you in Shibuya,” to which Sora replies, “Sure. It’s a deal.” This is followed by them placing their open hands together, a common symbol for making a pact. UPDATE [Jan 25, 2018]: On Januay 11, 2018, Nintendo Japan released new screenshots of The World Ends With You: Final Remix, and on January 14, 2018, the official Nintendo Tumblr account released new HQ renders for the characters Neku, Shiki, Beat, and Joshua from The World Ends With You: Final Remix. You can check out these new screenshots and character renders below: Will you be playing The World Ends With You: Final Remix on the Switch? Could Shibuya be a world in Kingdom Hearts III? why does young Xehanort looks likes Terra?
Elfdemon_ replied to koganei83's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
He doesn't and he's not supposed to. They have different faces, different hair, and different body shapes. -
Why does Vanitas look like Sora?
Elfdemon_ replied to Nana Marfo's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
No, he was created when Xehanort ripped out the darkness half of Ventus' heart. Vanitas is the darkness half of Ven's heart and Ven is the light half. Vanitas grew a face when Ven and Sora's hearts connected. -
Things that has been bothering me for years in KH1
Elfdemon_ replied to AwesomeKHfan's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
There's no answer for this, but the series is all about destiny. Sora dreaming about Heartless just simply shows that he's destined to do what he does. It's Mickey. Not really sure what question you're asking with the Donald and Goofy thing. Mickey did send Donald and Goofy to find the "Key" AKA Sora. They're just kids. By "worlds," they don't mean other planets in a massive space known as the Ocean Between. They're just kids who have the simple and vague dream of visiting other "worlds." Anything other than their islands would be a new "world" to them. It's like when adventurers back in the day would go out looking for new "worlds." Another interesting thing to note though, is that way back in the Age of Fairy Tales when there was only one massive World/planet, all of the separate towns/regions/countries were called "worlds." It was a "World" comprised of many smaller "worlds." So, Sora, Riku, and Kairi wanting to visit other "worlds" ties in with that in a way. By "worlds," they meant other faraway pieces of land, just like how the term was used back in the Age of Fairy Tales. He didn't get the idea of other worlds from anybody. As explained above, you're taking a small child's idea of another "world" too literally lol. But, Riku was inspired by Terra to visit other worlds. -
KHUX Realisation about Ventus
Elfdemon_ replied to Hoshiko Hikari's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
The Dandelion Union Leaders aren't Keyblade Masters like the Foretellers were as far as we know. They're "Masters" of the Dandelion Unions, but they're not Keyblade Masters. -

Why does Vanitas look like Sora?
Elfdemon_ replied to Nana Marfo's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
After Xehanort extracted the darkness half of Ventus' heart to create Vanitas, Ventus' heart was fractured, so Xehanort left Ventus on Xehanort's boyhood home, Destiny Islands, to spend his last moments. But, Sora, a newborn baby at this point, unknowingly connected hearts with Ventus and helped mend Ventus' fractured heart. This connection caused Vanitas to take on the appearance of Sora. Since Vanitas is a part of Ventus and Ventus made that connection with Sora, Vanitas took on the appearance of Sora. When Vanitas was created, he was a faceless being. He grew a face due to the connection with Sora. -
KHUX Proof that Xigbar is connected to the Keyblade War
Elfdemon_ replied to Finn and vigor's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I don't see how two characters both having a red scarf means that they're connected or that it's proof of anything whatsoever. If anything at all, it's just a tiny bit of evidence that doesn't mean much in my opinion. I'm not completely ruling out the possibility of what you're saying though. This is Kingdom Hearts we're talking about, crazier things have happened. And I wouldn't be surprised if what you're saying is true. It might very well be true. But, I don't believe we have sufficient evidence and proof to believe that it's the same scarf at the current moment. That might change in the future though, maybe even the near future. -
